Been watching AVNT for a while, the volatility is quite something.
OKX spot price is at 0.10534, having surged from 0.08875 to 0.11110 within 24 hours before pulling back. The amplitude exceeds 25%, with volume at 14.97 million AVNT and 1.51 million U. On the daily chart, EMA5/10/20 are all converged around 0.09, and the price is above all short-term moving averages. The upper Bollinger Band at 0.09966 has already been pierced. The MACD is interesting — DIFF 0.00085 crossed above DEA -0.00139, histogram turned positive at 0.00448, indicating an early bullish signal on the daily timeframe.
The fundamentals of AVNT itself are not bad. It's a decentralized perpetual contract DEX deployed on Base, supporting synthetic asset trading like forex, commodities, and indices, with leverage up to 500x. Pantera and Coinbase have invested, and after TVL surpassed $100 million in July, it rallied 45%. However, the tokenomics need attention — 29.25 million AVNT unlock every month on the 9th, with a batch worth 2.43 million U unlocked on August 9. The good news is the project started a buyback and burn mechanism in March, using 30% of trading revenue for buybacks, serving as a floor support.
Technically and fundamentally, the short-term bias is bullish, but resistance at the previous high of 0.1110 and unlock selling pressure are two hurdles. Chasing at this level is not very cost-effective; a pullback near EMA20 (0.09026) might be a better entry point. If volume can sustain above the ten-million level, the probability of a breakout will be much higher.
Anyone else watching? At what levels are you placing your orders? Let's discuss in the comments.
$AVNT #July CPI Meets Expectations, Inflation Continues to Cool Down The latest CPI data met expectations, combined with the previously unexpectedly weak nonfarm payroll data, the market's expectations for a Fed rate hike in September have significantly cooled. The upcoming July PCE data to be released at the end of this month, if it also shows a slowdown, will further dispel the possibility of a rate hike in September.
With the election approaching, a rate hike in September is inappropriate. Also, Fed Chair Powell, who has chaired two meetings, gives the impression of being erratic, with vague wording and a somewhat inconsistent attitude—sometimes mentioning trimmed mean inflation, sometimes AI inflation, and then the rise in US Treasury yields (real rates) acting like a rate hike effect, leaving us confused.
I think if the PCE at the end of this month is okay and next month's data does not exceed expectations, then a September rate hike is basically ruled out. If next month's data jumps again, then the expectation for a September hike might rise again.
Whether there is a hike in September may no longer be that sensitive to the market. The capital-rotation thesis is more interesting than simply chasing OKB.
A potential sequence could look like:
OKB strength → attention on OKX/X Layer → increased ecosystem activity → capital searches for secondary beneficiaries.
But there's an important distinction: being connected to an ecosystem doesn't automatically mean a token will receive its capital flows.
👀 What I'd watch
$ETH — infrastructure beneficiary
If X Layer activity grows and Ethereum-linked settlement/usage increases, ETH could benefit indirectly. But the relationship isn't a guaranteed one-to-one flow.
$SOL — broader risk-on beneficiary
SOL could benefit if traders become more willing to move further out the risk curve, although its performance doesn't necessarily depend on X Layer.
X Layer / DeFi tokens — highest potential, highest risk
This is where a genuine second wave could emerge, but I'd want to see actual TVL growth, transaction activity, liquidity and users rather than simply a narrative.
🧠 The key principle
Don't ask:
> “Which coin hasn't pumped yet?”
Ask:
> “Which ecosystem is receiving new capital and converting it into measurable activity?”
That's the difference between rotation and FOMO.
If OKB's rally eventually produces measurable growth across X Layer and its surrounding ecosystem, the second-wave thesis becomes much more credible. If OKB rises while ecosystem activity remains stagnant, then the move may remain largely token-specific.
Follow the capital, verify the usage, and only then consider the valuation. What impact does the PPI data release have on the crypto market ($BTC $ETH) and US stocks ($SNDK)?
The US July PPI (Producer Price Index) is generally positive for risk assets.
Key data
* PPI month-over-month: 0.0% (market expectation +0.2%)
* PPI year-over-year: 4.7% (market expectation 4.9%, previous value 5.5%)
* Core PPI month-over-month: +0.2% (below expectation +0.3%)
This indicates:
1. Upstream inflation pressure in the US is lower than expected.
2. The pace of corporate cost increases is slowing.
3. The Fed's short-term pressure to continue raising rates is reduced.
Impact on US stocks
Tech stocks (positive)
PPI below expectations → market believes future interest rate pressure eases → valuation of tech growth stocks rises.
Typically benefits:
* NVIDIA
* Microsoft
* Amazon
Therefore, Nasdaq and AI sectors theoretically benefit the most: Financial stocks
Impact is neutral to slightly negative.
Because:
* Expectations for rising interest rates decline
* Long-term US Treasury yields fall
Banks' net interest margin expansion space shrinks.
Impact on BTC and crypto market
Short term: slightly positive
Logic chain:
PPI below expectations
→ Inflation cools
→ Fed hawkish pressure decreases
→ US Treasury yields fall
→ US dollar index weakens
→ Funds flow back to risk assets
→ BTC, ETH benefit
This is the standard macro transmission path.
Why didn’t BTC surge?
Because CPI was already released yesterday.
The market had already priced in:
* Moderate CPI
* Moderate PPI
Therefore, this is:
Positive realization, not an unexpectedly large positive surprise.
The bigger current contradictions for BTC are no longer PPI, but:
1. Whether ETF funds continue to flow in
2. The Fed’s stance at the September meeting
3. BTC spot demand
4. Whether leveraged funds continue to increase #HormuzNavigationNegotiationsFail, US-Iran Pressure Escalates
The leader has something to say
Negotiations at Hormuz have broken down again.
Iran is tying the lifting of sanctions and war reparations to navigation conditions. The US side refuses to budge, so no agreement can be signed. On August 11, the US military intercepted a cargo ship attempting to break the blockade, so military force is still being used. Brent crude oil briefly bounced back near $90.
Oil prices remain a volatile factor. Without an agreement, oil prices won’t fall, and inflation expectations won’t ease. If inflation expectations don’t ease, the Federal Reserve won’t relax. Without relaxation, BTC struggles to break out of this range. BTC has been stuck between 64500 and 65000 for almost two weeks, lacking a reason to attract concentrated capital inflow.
Oil prices are one of the drags, but not the whole story. CPI cooling is a fact, and rate hike expectations are slowly being digested. However, this transmission takes time, so BTC still needs to consolidate in the short term. $BTC $ETH $OKB
Holding several positions. The BTC short at 64250 was half reduced at 63800, holding the remaining half with a target below 63500. The SanDisk short at 1377 stopped out at 1420, target 1300 to 1320. SPCX light long near 135, stop loss at 124, target 145 to 150.
Altcoins are stagnant.
The above analysis is time-sensitive; stop losses must be set on positions. Good luck. The core idea is right: shorting a cyclical stock isn't simply a bet that “the price will fall.” It's a bet that the underlying fundamentals, positioning, and timing will eventually overcome the market's current bullish expectations.
For something like SanDisk, I'd separate the thesis into four layers:
1. Industry cycle — Are NAND/flash prices and supply-demand conditions actually turning?
2. Expectations — Has the market already priced in a large part of the bullish memory cycle?
3. Positioning & leverage — Crowded longs can create violent upside squeezes even when the fundamental short thesis is correct.
4. Risk management — A correct thesis can still produce a large loss if the timing and position size are wrong.
The most dangerous situation for a short is:
Bearish fundamentals + extremely bullish momentum + crowded shorts → short squeeze.
Conversely:
Weakening fundamentals + declining demand/pricing + long liquidation → much stronger bearish setup.
So I wouldn't use margin pressure alone as evidence that SanDisk should fall. Forced liquidation is a mechanism that amplifies a move; it doesn't tell you which direction the initial move must take.
The best question is therefore:
> Is the storage cycle actually turning, or are we simply seeing a temporary correction inside a still-strong AI/memory demand cycle?
That distinction matters far more than whether today's candle is green or red.🚀 $SPCX这一手,本质上是“胜率换赔率”的博弈取舍。 #交易心态 #$SPCX #Crypto🚨 RWA Is Becoming Invisible—And That Changes Everything 👀
Grvt’s plan isn’t just about allocating $100M into tokenized Treasuries. It’s about making the underlying infrastructure invisible to users.
Instead of holding USDY directly, users simply receive a base yield, while Grvt manages the asset in the background.
Key numbers: • 🎯 $100M target allocation over 12 months
• 📊 Around 4.6% of USDY’s total supply
• 💰 Roughly 3.5% APY, or about $3.5M in annual yield when fully deployed
This shows how early the on-chain fixed-income market still is.
The next phase of RWA may not be about asking users to buy tokenized assets—it may be about embedding the yield directly into the platform experience.
In the future, the biggest winners may be the platforms that hide the complexity while managing the risks behind the scenes. 👀
#AIInfraEarningsWatch #SpaceX99%ValueFromAI #CPIPPIEaseFedSplit This is a strong capital-rotation framework. The key idea is that a market-wide rally doesn't mean every sector will continue outperforming.
💧 How the liquidity cycle can develop
1️⃣ BTC / major assets BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB and XRP can act as the initial liquidity destinations when confidence returns.
2️⃣ Sector rotation Once majors stabilize, traders often look for higher-beta opportunities across L1s, DeFi, infrastructure and AI.
3️⃣ Narrative → fundamentals This is where the market starts filtering projects. Attention can create the first move, but sustained usage, revenue, liquidity and network activity determine which narratives keep attracting capital.
4️⃣ Speculation Memecoins and highly speculative assets can experience enormous short-term liquidity bursts, but those flows can disappear just as quickly.
🧠 The most important sentence
> “I’m watching where capital keeps returning.”
That's more useful than trying to predict which token will pump tomorrow.
A sector that repeatedly attracts capital after pullbacks is showing something different from a token that only rallies during one narrative wave.
So I'd organize the watchlist around three questions:
Where is new money entering?
Where does existing money remain after the hype fades?
Which networks are converting attention into actual usage?
If those three start pointing toward the same sector, that's a much stronger signal than price momentum alone.Let me tell you two more things
The Fed suddenly turns hawkish
First, let's talk macro
The just-released July PPI was flat month-over-month at 0.0%, and 4.7% year-over-year, overall lower than market expectations. Breaking it down, commodity prices fell by -0.7%, with energy down -3.1%, gasoline down -5.7%; but the PPI excluding food, energy, and trade still rose by +0.4% month-over-month.
So inflation is not completely gone, but at least there is no new evidence tonight to support runaway inflation continuing in the market.
Yet at this moment, Cleveland Fed President Hammack emphasized again: current monetary policy is not restrictive enough and should be tightened further.
My understanding is that this strongly involves managing expectations.
When PPI falls below expectations, the market's most common trading chain is:
Inflation declines → probability of rate hikes falls → US Treasury yields retreat → risk assets continue to expand valuations
What the Fed least wants to see is the market immediately loosening financial conditions based on one or two data points.
So Hammack coming out hawkish now is a form of "verbal tightening," or stepping on the brakes in advance for the market, rather than the Fed having formed a new consensus on rate hikes.
Because on the other hand, Barkin's statement today was clearly much more moderate: whether the Fed needs to continue raising rates remains an open question.
This shows there is still disagreement among officials, not that "the Fed has decided to re-enter a rate hike cycle."
Now for the second thing tonight.
At 21:00, SanDisk $SNDK officially holds its 2026 Investor Day.
So tonight SNDK will be very interesting:
On the macro level, PPI has loosened the leash a bit for risk assets, but Fed officials are immediately trying to pull that leash back
On the industry level, SanDisk will personally tell the market how far this round of NAND, enterprise SSD, and AI storage boom can really go
Tonight, I actually think the real direction will not be decided by Hammack's words, but whether SanDisk's management can prove that the current storage market is not just a pure cyclical price increase, but that AI is pushing the NAND demand center higher.
If this logic is further confirmed at Investor Day, then macro will determine how high valuations can go, but SanDisk itself will decide how far its performance can go.
#CPI与PPI同步降温,加息分歧扩大 🥇 Gold Holds Firm, but the Macro Outlook Still Matters
Gold is consolidating near $4,380, while forecasts remain widely split. The LBMA median target is around $4,500 by year-end, but estimates range from $3,879 to $5,100, highlighting ongoing macro uncertainty.
Support comes from cooling inflation, central-bank buying, and safe-haven demand, while a strong U.S. dollar and higher Treasury yields continue to limit upside.
My view: if gold and BTC rise together, it could signal improving liquidity. If gold outperforms on its own, it may reflect a more defensive market.
Analysis only, not financial advice.
#CPIPPIEaseFedSplit #AIInfraEarningsWatch #SpaceX99%ValueFromAI The overall thesis makes sense, but I’d separate what is actually happening now from the longer-term interpretation.
🇺🇸 What the regulatory picture means
CLARITY: A delay in Senate consideration increases uncertainty. Even if the bill eventually advances, the market shouldn't treat September 15 as a guaranteed passage date.
SEC: A shift toward clearer rules and exemptions could be constructive for the industry, but a proposal/request for comments is not the same thing as a finalized regulatory framework. Implementation would take considerably longer.
📊 Why BTC could benefit disproportionately
Your BTC-vs-altcoin point is interesting:
BTC → relatively established regulatory/institutional identity
ETH → increasingly institutionalized, but regulatory questions remain
Smaller altcoins → greater uncertainty around classification and compliance
If regulatory clarity expands gradually, institutional capital may initially favor assets with the clearest legal and liquidity profiles rather than immediately flowing into smaller altcoins.
That could create a BTC-first rotation rather than an immediate altseason.
🧠 The bigger takeaway
The most important development isn't whether CLARITY passes on one particular date.
It's whether the U.S. regulatory framework evolves from:
“Build first, ask whether it's legal later”
toward:
“Here are the rules, here are the requirements, and here is the compliant path.”
That would be structurally positive for crypto adoption.
But for now, regulatory progress ≠ immediate bullish price catalyst. The market still has to deal with liquidity, Fed policy, ETF flows and risk appetite.I’d lean toward “the memory cycle is still in its expansion phase, but the easy-money part may be getting crowded.”
There is real evidence behind the narrative, not just stock-market hype:
AI servers are absorbing much more NAND: enterprise SSDs accounted for 48% of NAND bits shipped in Q2 2026, up from 26% a year earlier.
Kioxia and SanDisk have begun production of 10th-generation 3D NAND, while Kioxia has specifically developed high-density QLC products for AI infrastructure.
Kioxia says its high-capacity QLC SSDs are already being deployed in AI-oriented servers, supporting the idea that AI is creating a genuine storage-demand cycle.
Memory-cost inflation is now spilling into consumer electronics, suggesting the shortage isn't confined to hyperscaler data centers.
🧠 My read
Fundamentally: probably still early-to-mid cycle.
Stock-market narrative: much further along.
That's an important distinction. The physical demand cycle can continue strengthening even while memory stocks become expensive because investors have already anticipated a large portion of the improvement.
The biggest thing I'd watch next is supply response. If manufacturers rapidly add capacity and inventory starts rebuilding, the narrative can transition from:
AI demand → shortage → pricing power → earnings upgrades
to:
capacity expansion → supply catches up → prices peak → earnings expectations reset.
So I wouldn't call the memory super cycle “finished.” But I also wouldn't assume that a strong narrative means every memory stock still has unlimited upside.
The real confirmation will be sustained pricing strength + tight supply + rising AI/storage demand + earnings upgrades. 📊 BTC & ETH Strategy Update
The market remains range-bound, so my strategy hasn’t changed.
🟠 BTC: Holding from 64,450, with an added short at 65,180. Stop-loss stays at 67,000. No reason to force a trade while the market remains indecisive.
🔵 ETH: Holding positions around 1,920–1,917. Stop-loss remains at 2,000.
🎯 Targets: • First: 1,750 • Final: 1,650
🟡 SNDK: Long orders remain near 1,000. If price reaches the zone, I’ll execute. If not, no chasing.
⚠️ Altcoins: Recent moves in $BICO showed how quickly gains can reverse. I’d rather focus on BTC, ETH, and stronger setups than chase high-volatility altcoins.
👀 Also watching $MU and $XAU (Gold) for better pullback opportunities.
The biggest edge right now is patience. Stick to your levels, manage risk, and let the market confirm the next move.
Analysis only, not financial advice.
#CPIPPIEaseFedSplit #AIInfraEarningsWatch #SpaceX99%ValueFromAI The broader thesis is strong, but I'd be careful with the phrase “IBIT cuts BTC threshold” unless there is an official BlackRock disclosure confirming exactly what threshold was changed.
🧠 Why IBIT matters
BlackRock's IBIT is important because it gives traditional investors Bitcoin exposure through familiar brokerage and ETF infrastructure rather than requiring direct BTC custody.
If access requirements genuinely become easier, the potential chain is:
Lower friction → more eligible investors → broader distribution → potentially larger BTC demand
But accessibility alone doesn't create buying pressure.
📊 What actually matters
For the #IBITCutsBTCThreshold narrative, I'd prioritize:
Net BTC ETF flows
IBIT AUM growth
Trading volume
Institutional allocation data
Actual changes in the product's eligibility/access rules
And there's an important distinction:
More access ≠ more demand.
If investors gain easier access but don't allocate capital, BTC price won't necessarily benefit.
So the bigger story is indeed Bitcoin becoming increasingly integrated into traditional financial infrastructure. The strongest confirmation will come when easier access translates into persistent ETF inflows and growing institutional allocations, not simply when a product becomes easier to access. The crypto market has thousands of projects, but when the noise disappears, three names continue to attract serious attention: 🟠 Bitcoin — The Digital Store of Value 🔵 Ethereum — The Programmable Financial Network 🟣 Solana — The High-Speed Application Economy These three projects are not trying to do exactly the same thing. Their differences are what make this comparison so interesting. 🟠 BITCOIN — THE FOUNDATION Bitcoin is the simplest and perhaps the most powerful crypto idea: Digital scarCORE price and TVL decline, but on-chain activity surges beneath the surface
Overseas news outlet BSCNews released the latest observation: conflicting data sets have emerged in the Core DAO ecosystem.
Visual market overview: $CORE token price continues to weaken, and total network TVL declines in sync;
However, a deep dive into on-chain metrics reveals that the ecosystem's foundational activity is changing against the trend.
1. Breakdown of several core ecosystem data points
1) Ecosystem dark horse protocol SumerMoney
TVL surged 501% over the past 30 days, currently at $46,929.
Objective reality: the base remains very small, absolute capital size is low, but it is the fastest-growing application in the entire ecosystem, indicating developers are willing to deploy new projects on the CORE public chain.
2) Daily active users steadily rising
Weekly average daily active users increased from 8,776 to 9,163, a 4.4% week-over-week rise.
Despite sustained price pressure and bearish market sentiment, users have not continuously fled, showing ecosystem retention resilience beyond expectations.
3) DEX trading volume strengthens against the trend
DEX total trading volume rose 26.6% over the past 30 days, completely diverging from the downward trend in price and TVL.
2. How to interpret this "disconnected market"?
Many wonder: with price falling and locked funds decreasing, why are transactions, users, and new projects growing?
Two reasonable interpretations exist:
✅ Optimistic view:
Tokens are exchanging hands. Long-term holders are reducing positions, while community traders and new developers keep entering.
TVL decline may be due to unlocking and withdrawal of old staked funds; increased DEX volume indicates active turnover and new capital accumulating at low levels; new projects launching prove the public chain infrastructure continues to attract developers, and ecosystem development has not stalled.
⚠️ Cautious view:
TVL shrinkage reflects waning confidence among mid-to-long-term yield-seeking stakers.
DEX volume increase could also be due to continuous sell-offs causing turnover, purely escape trades without active accumulation; SumerMoney’s current capital size is too small to bring substantial short-term ecosystem growth.
Key insight: on-chain activity ≠ short-term price catalyst.
Ecosystem data improvements are long-term fundamental material, but to drive price rallies, external conditions must align: crypto market liquidity recovery, lstBTC institutional partnerships, BTCFi sector capital inflows. Single-chain user and volume data alone rarely reverse price trends immediately.
3. Objective summary combining current market conditions
The market is polarized: some traders remain pessimistic targeting 0.008; some investors await ecosystem catalysts to position early.
This set of on-chain data provides an important clue:
Even if the market continues to oscillate downward, the CORE ecosystem has not fallen into complete silence; developers and users remain active on-chain.
But rational distinction is needed: nascent ecosystem growth cannot immediately offset macro liquidity pressure and valuation suppression from the broader market drag.
Follow-up tracking focuses on two validation points:
1) Whether SumerMoney can continue attracting capital and grow from a small protocol;
2) Whether DEX volume growth is sustained low-level turnover or gradually shows active buy-side accumulation;
3) Progress on external institutional partnerships and lstBTC custody, which are core catalysts to leverage incremental capital.
The market always exhibits divergence between surface price action and underlying data; we continue cross-validation, awaiting multiple signal convergence.

$CORE #CORE #BTCFi PPI data was overall below expectations, changing the market's pricing of the Fed's September rate decision. The latest data from CME's "FedWatch" shows that the probability of a 25 basis point rate hike in September has dropped from about 40% before the PPI report to about 35%; The probability of keeping rates unchanged has risen to about 65%. How does data change expectations? The US July PPI data released today was overall below expectations: monthly rate 0% (expected 0.2%), annual rate 4.7% (expected 4.9%), marking the lowest level since March. This is another confirmation of inflation cooling following yesterday's moderate decline in CPI data. The easing of production-side inflationary pressures has exceeded market expectations, further lowering the likelihood of a rate hike in September. Why is this important? First, marginal changes in the macro narrative are forming a trend. From the month-on-month drop in June CPI, to a moderate drop in July, and then to PPI falling below expectations across the board—three consecutive data points are building a trend narrative of "cooling inflation." If August retail sales and PCE data continue to support this direction, holding steady in September will almost be a done outcome. Second, expectations for rate cuts are "returning to normal." Previously, market expectations for rate cuts were once overly aggressive, but after the July FOMC, these were completely erased, and the market even shifted to pricing in rate hikes. The current 35% probability of a rate hike is a pricing closer to "neutral"—neither overly optimistic nor overly pessimistic. Third, risk assets will receive temporary support. A decrease in rate hike probability means greater certainty at the top of interest rates, which is risky for investorsYes — the important clarification is that the 5,014 BTC movement was not a sale. Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich said the BTC was transferred between the company’s own custodial addresses, leaving its holdings unchanged at 43,000 BTC. The transfer was worth roughly $322 million and reportedly cost only about $8 in network fees.
🧠 Why this matters for BTC
A large on-chain transfer can easily be mistaken for selling pressure, but wallet movement ≠ liquidation.
So this particular event shouldn't be interpreted as:
Metaplanet selling → potential BTC supply pressure ❌
It's better understood as:
Metaplanet custody transfer → holdings unchanged → no confirmed BTC sale ✅
The bigger thing to watch is whether Metaplanet's 43,000 BTC treasury balance actually changes in future disclosures.
In short: **the headline looked bearish, but the underlying event was neutral.**ACU is Acurast, a DePIN project focused on providing AI Agent and secure computing services using idle smartphone computing power. According to public data, ACU's 24-hour high was about 0.1406, currently around 0.1226, up more than 25% from the opening price, but the peak has clearly retreated.
Reasons for the rise:
AI + DePIN + decentralized computing power remain market focus areas; ACU itself has shown a strong trend recently, with a 7-day increase of about 56%. Today's volume surge seems to be driven by a combination of narrative hype and concentrated capital inflow, with no major official announcement found to independently explain this sharp rally.
Risk warning:
The short-term volatility is close to 50%, and the pullback from the high point has exceeded 10%, indicating significant disagreement between bulls and bears. Its circulating market cap is about $42 million, fully diluted valuation about $125 million, with a low circulation ratio, so future token releases may bring potential selling pressure; contract funding rates have turned positive, increasing chasing funds, so beware of high-level pullbacks and liquidation volatility.
In short:
ACU's rise is supported by AI/DePIN narratives and capital enthusiasm, but it currently resembles a high-volatility thematic market, and its sustainability depends on subsequent official developments and whether trading volume can be maintained. $ACU The strongest point here is price + flows need to be read together.
If roughly $1.1B has entered U.S. spot BTC/ETH ETFs while BTC and ETH remain in consolidation, there are two possible interpretations:
🟢 Absorption: buyers are taking available supply without allowing price to break down, which can become constructive if demand continues.
⚠️ Delayed reaction: inflows can be strong while price remains capped because sellers are absorbing the buying. That doesn't guarantee an upside breakout.
📊 CPI becomes the catalyst
Soft CPI → lower inflation pressure → potentially lower yields → improved risk appetite → BTC/ETH breakout becomes more plausible.
Hot CPI → higher yields → tighter financial conditions → ETF inflows may not be enough to prevent another pullback.
And if BTC finally breaks higher, ETH and SOL could benefit from rotation into higher-beta assets, while OKB's performance would depend more heavily on OKX-specific activity and liquidity.
🧠 The real signal
Don't just ask “Are ETFs buying?”
Ask:
ETF inflows ↑ + BTC holds support + volume ↑ + breakout → stronger bullish confirmation.
That's much more convincing than inflows alone.
Capital flow tells you where money is going. Price action tells you whether that money is actually winning the battle. The strongest part of this thesis is the distinction between utility and speculation.
If OKB is genuinely integrated across the OKX ecosystem, its value proposition isn't simply “exchange token goes up.” It becomes tied to things such as:
Trading-related utility and potential fee benefits
Access to ecosystem services
Integration with OKX products and infrastructure
Potential recurring demand if users actually need or prefer holding OKB
But the key test is usage. Utility only becomes economically meaningful when it creates sustained demand for the token.
So I'd frame the thesis as:
OKB utility → ecosystem activity → recurring demand → stronger token economics
The fixed 21M supply adds an interesting scarcity component, but scarcity + weak demand isn't enough.
The most important metrics to watch are therefore OKX user activity, OKB usage, X Layer adoption, ecosystem growth, and whether increased platform activity actually translates into sustained OKB demand.
That's what would separate “another exchange token narrative” from a genuinely durable ecosystem asset. The next round of capital rotation is shifting from "hyping narratives" to "real demand." Today's market focus is not on the full knockoff season, but on funds starting to seek tracks with real usage scenarios and cash flow. BTC is still fluctuating in the $63K–64K range, with open interest in derivatives markets at about $47.5B, indicating that leverage remains high. (TMGM) More notably, on August 12, there was a clear divergence among US spot ETFs: BTC ETFs saw net outflows of about $61.1M, while ETH ETFs saw net inflows of about $7.4M. This is not a full capital retreat; it is more like institutional funds beginning to make structural choices. (CryptoRank) 1. BTC | The Core of Institutional Liquidity BTC remains the largest liquidity anchor in the entire market. But what is more worth watching now is whether ETF funds can continue to flow in, rather than whether the price breaks out in the short term. BTC's strengths remain liquidity, institutional acceptance, and scarcity; Risks come from a slowdown in ETF funding and a high-leverage environment. 2. ETH | On-chain finance is becoming the core logic. Recently, ETH ETF funds have outperformed BTC, and the market is refocusing on: stablecoins + DeFi + RWA + institutional settlement. ETH's true long-term value lies not only in being the "second-largest crypto asset" but in whether it can become the main settlement layer for global on-chain finance. Representative: $ETH 3. L1 | Shifting from "speed competition" to "economic activity" L1 competitionControversy over EIP-8361 Staking Yield Reduction Proposal: Is Ethereum's Deflation Obsession Protecting the Network or Destroying Retail Node Operators' Livelihoods?
A few days ago, I chatted with some friends who run Ethereum Validator nodes, and there was a common tone of deep anxiety among them.
The issue started when Ethereum Foundation researcher Justin Drake, along with several core members, proposed a new draft called EIP-8361, the Progressive Issuance Burn Proposal. According to this proposal, when the total staked ETH across the Ethereum network reaches about 60.25 million ETH, which is more than half of the total circulating supply, the block rewards issued to validator nodes will be burned at a 100% rate.
What does this mean? It translates to the annual staking yield for all nodes being halved from the current roughly 2.6% down to 1.2% or even lower.
Some might find this strange since Ethereum has long promoted itself as a supersonic currency. Why are core developers suddenly eager to cut staking yields?
The root cause lies in the over-prosperity of Layer 2. Everyone knows that after the launch of Blob space, Ethereum Layer 2 transaction fees became almost free, which has kept mainnet gas fees persistently at very low levels. Without sufficient gas fee burns, the classic EIP-1559 mechanism has effectively stalled, and Ethereum's token supply has naturally returned to an inflationary trajectory. To maintain the golden brand of deflation, developers have turned their focus to the block rewards for validator nodes.
However, in my view, this approach of forcibly suppressing validator rewards to offset inflation is a stopgap measure at best and might even be a case of drinking poison to quench thirst.
Think about it: retail solo stakers who only have 32 ETH and run their own servers already have thin profits after deducting hosting fees, internet costs, and maintenance efforts. If the annual yield is forcibly compressed to 1.2%, after a year of hard work and operational costs, they will barely break even. Who would bother maintaining independent nodes then?
When a large number of retail nodes are forced to quit, the remaining staked ETH will inevitably concentrate faster in Lido, Coinbase, and various centralized staking service providers.
Sacrificing the physical decentralization of nodes for the sake of a visually appealing deflation on paper actually undermines Ethereum's core value. The supersonic currency narrative sounds attractive, but if a public chain network cannot even guarantee the basic security budget and survival space for retail nodes to maintain deflation, what is the real meaning of such deflation?
This battle over staking yields and network security budgets will likely trigger even more intense turbulence in the upcoming hard fork upgrade discussions over the next few months.
Finally, a question for friends: if EIP-8361 really passes and staking annual yields drop to just above 1%, would you still choose to stake ETH on-chain? Do you think Ethereum should prioritize preserving the deflation narrative or maintaining node decentralization?
#以太坊主网十一周年:十一年不间断运行与生态成就 The results are wild. Top 1 the most popular token of the day averaged minus 12 percent over 24 hours. In 26 out of 30 cases I got a loss and only in 4 was there a small plus from 2 to 5 percent. Top 2 averaged minus 8 percent and a loss in 24 out of 30 cases. Top 3 gave minus 5 percent and a loss in 22 out of 30 cases. Total for the month if I blindly bought popular stuff I would have lost 380 dollars out of 900 invested. Overall I figured out that the Popular tab on STONfi is not a buy signal When the KOSPI was smashed through the floor by leveraged funds on July 30, there was only one voice on the board: sacrifice the piece. Twenty-five days, a 22% counterattack, Samsung and Hynix like two synchronized advancing pawns, diagonally biting the opponent's throat—this is not a rebound, this is the midgame's first round of exchange and the resulting position reconstruction. I've seen too many such shapes in chess records: panic selling is a feigned sacrifice on the flank, a true master only needs to glance at the remnants of the pawn chain to know that the opponent's king's fortress has cracked.
The memory cycle is the central pawn chain in this game. AI capital expenditure is not a local blitz but a sustained pressure that controls the entire board—it causes Hynix's HBM to form a permanent weakness on the opponent's king's wing, and Samsung's storage business acts like a strong piece, firmly controlling the horizontal line. Programmatic buy pauses triggered midgame? That's just the ticking noise of the timer, not a positional signal. A true player never changes evaluation because of a single "long think"; he watches who has the more coordinated piece structure and whose arc coverage is deeper once all tactical dust settles.
Rumors about Temasek? A bluff. Merely probing pawn advances, with neither confirmed timing nor scale; that kind of "possibility" is like a hanging fork on the board—smart people don't adjust their defenses for moves not yet played, but opponents get distracted, and that's enough. What the market is truly trading now is not Temasek's pocket but whether those core assets wrongly sold off after the leverage purge are back within the value center's range.
Tools like XSOXL are essentially a convex lens. They magnify every tiny shift of Samsung and Hynix into a tidal wave on the king's wing. You can use it to accelerate the approach to checkmate, but remember: once the mirror's focal length distorts, the boundary between reality and illusion blurs into a diagonal line. When the leverage-defined volatility is fully released, what remains is the endgame—then the contest is who has more active pieces, whose pawns are closer to promotion, not who is louder in aggression.
Is this rebound a valuation repair or another explosive trap concentrated in the market? My answer is on the chess clock: whichever it is, it is a forcing move. The Korean chip line has already cornered the opponent's king.
The real question is, when the mirror shatters, do you still remember the king's original position? The player who made the move doesn't need an answer; he only needs to see—the opponent's next move has become stiff. #KoreaChipsLeadRebound I think the “opportunity vs. already too high” question comes down to whether OKB's new tokenomics are followed by real utility growth.
🟢 Why the thesis is stronger now
21M fixed supply creates a much clearer scarcity narrative than the previous supply structure.
OKX + X Layer + OKB creates a potential ecosystem flywheel: more activity → more utility → potentially more demand for OKB.
The comparison with BNB is understandable, but BNB's value is backed by years of deep ecosystem usage, so OKB still has to prove that part.
The fact that OKB is around $100 rather than its previous $258.6 high doesn't automatically mean it's cheap. A lower price than the ATH is not, by itself, a valuation metric.
⚠️ What I'd watch
The biggest question isn't “Can OKB hit $120?”
It's:
“Does OKB actually become necessary or increasingly useful inside the OKX/X Layer ecosystem?”
If real utility, users, transaction activity and ecosystem adoption grow, the fixed 21M supply becomes much more meaningful.
If demand doesn't grow, scarcity alone won't guarantee appreciation.
So I'd describe OKB as a fundamentally interesting tokenomics reset with an unproven long-term ecosystem thesis, rather than simply “the next BNB.”
And after a 16% weekly move, chasing it purely because the chart looks strong carries more risk than evaluating the next stage of adoption.🔥 99% AI. 1% Rockets. And My Short Is Stuck in That 1%.
$SPCX has rallied from 108 to 146, gaining about 35%, while my short position is sitting at a 300U floating loss. I’m still holding.
The rally gained momentum after Elon Musk said AI revenue could eventually exceed all of SpaceX’s other businesses combined. He believes the company could reach 10GW of AI computing power by the end of next year, with the potential to generate $300B–$500B in annual AI revenue. He even suggested AI could represent 99% of SpaceX’s value within five years.
That’s a bold vision.
For perspective, Nvidia generated around $60B in annual revenue last year. Projecting an AI business to reach $500B is an extraordinary expectation.
The market clearly embraced the narrative. SPCX surged as investors shifted focus from rockets and Starlink to AI infrastructure.
This shows how powerful market narratives can be. Sometimes, a compelling vision is enough to move prices long before the financial results arrive.
I’m not saying Musk is right or wrong.
I’m simply waiting for the evidence—real revenue, customer demand, and financial results.
Stories can drive rallies, but in the long run, numbers decide the outcome.
#CPIPPIEaseFedSplit #AIInfraEarningsWatch #SpaceX99%ValueFromAI The lesson is useful, but there’s one important distinction: historical bottoms only look obvious after the fact.
When ETH was around $900 or SOL around $8, buying required accepting the possibility that prices could fall much further. The same was true during earlier cycles.
The pattern worth learning isn't “buy whenever everyone is bearish.” It's:
Extreme fear → capitulation → stabilization → improving fundamentals/liquidity → trend reversal.
And history doesn't guarantee the same outcome every cycle. Crypto can remain depressed much longer than expected, and some individual tokens never recover their previous highs.
So the better takeaway is:
> Don't confuse pessimism with a bottom. Look for evidence that selling pressure is actually being absorbed.
The best opportunities often feel uncomfortable—but “uncomfortable” isn't enough by itself. Confirmation still matters.Exactly—the strongest part of this thesis is that crypto's next move may be driven by macro and policy catalysts rather than technicals alone.
🔑 Three forces to watch
🇺🇸 CPI / Fed Cooling inflation can support expectations for easier monetary policy, which generally improves the liquidity backdrop for risk assets. But the market reaction depends on the details and what yields/DXY do afterward.
🏛️ SEC / CLARITY Regulatory progress could reduce uncertainty and potentially improve institutional confidence. But until legislation actually advances through the required steps, it remains a potential catalyst rather than a guaranteed one.
🛢️ Hormuz / Oil This is the wildcard. A sustained disruption could push energy prices higher → increase inflation pressure → complicate Fed easing expectations → pressure risk assets, including crypto.
👀 Asset-by-asset
BTC: watch liquidity and institutional flows.
ETH: watch whether it can outperform BTC and attract continued ETF demand.
SOL: higher-beta expression of improving risk appetite.
HYPE: watch derivatives activity and on-chain momentum.
OKB: ecosystem developments could create token-specific strength independent of BTC.
🧠 The key framework
CPI → Fed expectations → yields/DXY → liquidity → crypto
Hormuz → oil → inflation → Fed expectations → risk assets
SEC/CLARITY → regulation → institutional confidence → crypto flows
So yes: don't just watch the candles. Watch what is happening underneath them. The chart tells you what the market is doing; macro and policy can help explain why.🚨 BTC DIDN’T JUST DROP — GEOPOLITICAL RISK JUST ENTERED THE MARKET.
As the night session opened, tensions around the Strait of Hormuz sent $BTC and $ETH sharply lower, while oil held firmly above $82.
And the chain reaction is simple:
🌍 Geopolitical tension → 🛢️ higher oil → 📈 inflation expectations → 📉 fewer rate-cut hopes → pressure on risk assets.
The bigger problem? The Hormuz negotiations still appear stuck, with key implementation details unresolved.
That makes tonight’s CPI even more important.
📉 Cool CPI → could ease the pressure.
📈 Hot CPI → oil + inflation fears could create a nasty double squeeze.
For now, there’s no need to guess the next move.
Let the CPI numbers speak first. The market will tell us what comes next.

#DailyOrbit 🟢 $SOL JUST GOT A WAKE-UP CALL
Teraswitch held ~28.1% of active stake when the outage hit, pushing Solana dangerously close to the 33.34% finality threshold.
North America stayed online this time — but that’s exactly why the risk matters.
A provider-wide failure could still leave only ~72–73% of stake reachable, just a few points above quorum.
One more correlated infrastructure failure could be enough to stop settlement.
$SOL may be decentralized at the validator layer — but infrastructure concentration is becoming the real risk.
Watch infrastructure diversity, not just validator count. 👀When the tower crane was still pouring the 5.7 billionth cubic meter of concrete at Nebius's construction site, the settlement warning curve on my structural drawings had already pierced the safety threshold. This was the first thing I saw when I was woken up by a phone call at 3 a.m. and opened the monitoring system.
This is the real daily routine of a design institute. The market watches the revenue growth rate like an owner—Lumentum, CoreWeave, and Supermicro’s three construction progress charts all floated green above 90%, and Nebius’s 454% is like a supertall building topping out naked in 12 months. But in my eyes, having drawn skyscrapers for twenty years, revenue is just the reflection on the curtain wall glass; the brighter the facade, the heavier the glass itself and the wind load. What truly determines whether the building will quietly crack three years after delivery are the unseen pile foundations underground and the stress gauges embedded in the concrete.
Coherent delivered a beautiful test block report today: 34% growth, with guidance above market expectations. Yet the price still dropped 8% after hours. It’s like receiving a call from the testing station on site: the yield strength of this batch of rebar barely meets the standard, but the carbon content is high; after welding on site, the cracks from cooling shrinkage are all hidden in the weld seams. The owner sees the building hasn’t collapsed, but when the weather station issues a strong wind warning, I have to recalculate the most unfavorable load combination. The structural fault tolerance rate is never judged by the test block report but by how much surplus reinforcement ratio you leave for each column.
What does Nebius’s $5.7 billion capital expenditure mean? It’s equivalent to purchasing all the steel and concrete for the entire building at once, with tower cranes, hoists, and concrete pump trucks all running at full capacity. The books look spectacular, but the most dangerous moment for a supertall building is never the topping-out day; it’s when you reach two-thirds of the height and suddenly find that the reserved equipment floor load-bearing wall has been changed to a viewing window by a drawing revision. Each additional floor slab demands bearing capacity from the foundation, but the foundation’s settlement monitoring data won’t appear in financial reports. Owners always ask how many units have been sold, but structural engineers calculate whether the load per square meter is approaching the design limit.
Cisco’s double-digit growth feels like an old established firm taking on a new project—still stable, still profitable. But the old firm’s brick-and-mortar approach, when faced with parametric large cantilevers, hits the newly added strict clauses in the code—what used to be a gray area is now a lifetime responsibility. The advantage of the old firm is that drawings and detailed node diagrams are never missing, but the downside is that when encountering new materials, your habitual conservatism causes costs to skyrocket, while the market’s fault tolerance space, like building height limits, keeps shrinking, leaving no room for any extra floor slabs.
Applied Materials is the next general contractor entering the site. Everyone is watching the lifting capacity of its tower crane—equipment orders. But I’m more concerned about the formwork and scaffolding on its site: expansionary expenditure is scaffolding; the denser it is, the higher the safety reserve, but your cash flow has a setting time like concrete. If you don’t vibrate it before it sets, the entire slab becomes a lump of waste. Doubling the number of tower cranes doesn’t mean the building can top out on schedule; it also means your construction organization design and emergency plans must be upgraded simultaneously.
As for those derivative structures sharing the same transformer and digital certificate foundation with these sites? They don’t need to pour concrete themselves, but once the foundation settles, their ground beams will misalign accordingly. I never produce drawings for such skin-deep structures, but I know where the wind comes from—from the backfill soil blown out of all the foundation pits excavated simultaneously at every site. #AIInfraEarningsWatch Objective Breakdown of the Probability of $CORE Dropping to 0.001
Many people dare not face reality: what if CORE continues to decline steadily and falls to 0.001? The current price is 0.0185; dropping to 0.001 means a further plunge of 95%. This is an objective market scenario analysis, neither extremely bearish nor blindly bullish.
Key conclusion: A deep drop to 0.001 within a few months is a low-probability event, but over a multi-year cycle, under multiple negative factors resonating, this risk cannot be completely ruled out.
Short-term support from capital: The historical low of 0.01506 provides psychological support, and bottom-fishing funds often enter at low levels; the project maintains basic updates, the BTCFi narrative attracts short-term speculative funds, and the token’s liquidity has not yet dried up, making a one-sided cliff drop unlikely.
However, long-term risks are visibly apparent: intense competition within the sector, no substantial ecological growth; continuous token unlocking, high-level trapped positions constantly escaping, and a long-term lack of incremental funds in the market. Coupled with tightening liquidity in the broader market and partnerships remaining only on paper, market expectations continue to weaken.
The market is extremely divided between bulls and bears; ultimately, the market trend is the result of the battle between capital and sector fundamentals. The most realistic situation is: even if it falls to 0.001, deeply trapped believers still fantasize about returning to 10U. Sunk costs, get-rich-quick fantasies, and information cocoons trap most holders.
This market scenario analysis is for reference only; the real capital flow in the market is far more important than subjective price speculation.
⚠️ Risk warning: This is only a discussion of market logic and does not constitute any investment advice. Cryptocurrency assets are highly volatile; please manage risks rationally. Whether Bitcoin can rise in the short term depends on the macro liquidity inflection point and the pace of selling pressure clearance. In the long term, it has cyclical rebound potential but is by no means guaranteed to rise unilaterally. Currently, it is in a critical consolidation phase where "partial bottoming signals have appeared but reversal is not confirmed."
Core Status and Key Variables
Price Position: As of mid-August 2026, BTC has been trading sideways in the $62,000 - $67,000 range for nearly two months, down more than 50% from the historical high in October 2025 (around $126,000).
Resistance to Rise: Miners continue to sell due to cost inversion, $ETH inflows are mostly from cash-and-carry arbitrage (net exposure is low), and there is significant pressure to break even from trapped positions near $69,000.
Support for Rise: Some on-chain indicators have entered historically undervalued zones; if the Federal Reserve releases liquidity through mechanisms like FIMA or if rate cut expectations materialize, valuation repair could be triggered.
Cycle Pattern: Historical data shows that after a Bitcoin peak, it usually takes 12-13 months to bottom out. The potential bottom window for this cycle may point to Q4 2026. So far, there has been no widespread panic selling (NUPL has not turned negative, Fear & Greed Index at 29 is not an extreme value).
Three Major Conditions Determining Subsequent Trends
Macro Liquidity: Whether the US dollar interest rate expectations clearly shift toward easing (e.g., worsening nonfarm payroll data triggering rate cut trades) is the highest priority catalyst to break the current deadlock.
Selling Pressure Release: Whether miner selling pressure is exhausted and whether ETH $SNDK funds shift from "arbitrage inflows" to "allocative net buying" needs to be observed by whether the Coinbase premium index turns positive.
Technical Breakthrough: Whether the price can effectively hold above $69,000 (the average cost line for short-term holders); otherwise, any rebound will still be regarded as box consolidation.
Risk Warning
Unpredictability: Cryptocurrency is heavily influenced by sentiment and leverage, with no "inevitable rise" logic; if the macro environment deteriorates or a black swan event occurs, deeper support levels may be tested.
Conclusion: There is a possibility of a rise, but clear signals are needed (liquidity easing + selling pressure clearance + key level breakthrough). It is currently unwise to blindly bet on a one-sided market. It is recommended to pay attention to Federal Reserve policy trends and changes in on-chain holding structures rather than simply guessing price direction. #Strategy再卖1690枚BTC,企业财库出现分化 #高盛收购Neos,加密ETF转向收益竞争 #CLARITY延期,SEC拟推进监管规则补位 The analysis has a clear bearish-to-neutral thesis, but I'd separate the useful signals from the assumptions.
📉 BTC setup
$65K: key resistance/ceiling in this framework.
$63K: immediate level the author expects to lose.
$62K: important downside support.
$60K: major psychological/technical defense zone.
The moving-average setup you quoted—price below EMA21/EMA55 with SAR above price—does support short-term bearish pressure. But indicators alone don't establish that BTC will break $63K.
⛏️ Miner income is the interesting part
Low miner fee income alongside record-high hashrate can indicate intense competition among miners and compressed fee economics.
But calling it either a bottom signal or crash warning is too simplistic.
Historically, miner stress can occur near major bottoms, but it can also persist during extended weakness. The more useful confirmation would be:
miner selling + exchange inflows + declining demand + weak spot volume
versus
miner stress + declining selling pressure + rising spot demand + improving liquidity.
🧠 The biggest issue with the proposed trade
The idea of “waiting for one more drop, then gradually buying” is essentially trying to catch a potential bottom. That's inherently uncertain.
If BTC breaks $62K and eventually $60K, the fact that those levels were previously expected to hold doesn't guarantee they will.
So the strongest conclusion from this setup is:
BTC remains range-bound with bearish pressure underneath. $65K is the important upside confirmation area, while $62K–$60K is the key downside zone. Until price and volume confirm a breakout, predicting the exact next move is mostly speculation.🚨 BTC & ETH JUST GOT HIT — AND THE REAL DRIVER ISN’T CRYPTO.
Something felt off as the night session opened.
BTC and ETH sold off sharply after fresh Strait of Hormuz tensions, while oil $CL held above $82. That’s a sign markets are starting to price geopolitical risk back in.
Here’s the chain traders are watching:
🛢️ Hormuz risk → oil higher
📈 Oil higher → inflation expectations rise
🏦 Higher inflation → fewer Fed cuts
⚠️ Less easing → pressure on risk assets
The US-Iran talks still look far from a real breakthrough, with the biggest issue being how any agreement would actually be implemented.
Now comes the key test: CPI.
If inflation continues cooling, some of this pressure could ease.
But if CPI comes in hot, crypto could face a nasty macro + geopolitical double squeeze.
For now, I’m not chasing the night-session volatility.
Let the CPI numbers speak first. The next move could depend more on inflation than the candles on the chart.

#DailyOrbit 📊 $BTC vs $ETH — Liquidity Tells a Different Story
Bitcoin’s market cap is roughly 5.6× larger than Ethereum’s, yet its trading volume is only around 3.1× ETH’s.
$BTC remains the market’s main liquidity anchor, attracting ETF flows and broader macro-driven allocations.
$ETH, meanwhile, behaves more like a higher-beta rotation asset, with DeFi, L2s, staking, and wider altcoin activity contributing to greater volatility.
The key distinction:
🟠 If investment and allocation flows dominate → BTC may retain its premium for stability and certainty.
🔵 If active trading liquidity returns → ETH’s greater sensitivity to capital rotation could give it more upside momentum.
The next move may depend less on market size and more on where liquidity starts flowing.
#CPIPPIEaseFedSplit #AIInfraEarningsWatch #SpaceX99%ValueFromAI The strongest lesson here isn't the $10 → $186 result—it's the emphasis on protecting an existing profit.
A few important points:
10× leverage magnifies both gains and losses. A relatively small move in BTC/ETH can produce a large percentage change in margin.
BTC moving from $63,561.3 → $63,825.2 is about +0.42%, which is consistent with roughly +4.2% before fees/funding at 10×.
ETH moving from $1,840.95 → $1,894.80 is about +2.93%, or roughly +29.3% at 10× before fees/funding.
Moving a stop toward breakeven or into profit can reduce the chance of giving back a winning trade, but it can also cause an early exit during normal volatility.
The biggest caution is the $100 → $1M challenge. Going from $10 to $186 is impressive as a trading record, but extrapolating that growth rate to $1M requires increasingly large risks and isn't a realistic expectation to rely on.
Good trading isn't just catching the move—it’s knowing when to protect yourself once you're right.ETH major event: staking ratio breaks through 34.7%, hitting a new high, but yields fall below expectations.
Just checked Staking Rewards data, ETH staking ratio hit a new high again, reaching 34.7%. 41.89 million ETH locked up, total value $78.5 billion, sounds impressive, right?
But honestly, I'm not that optimistic.
First, the yield has dropped to 2.6% and is still declining. Do the math: nearly double the stakers, but the rewards are diluted, making the cost-performance ratio less and less worthwhile. A 2.6% annualized return wouldn't even rank in traditional finance, plus you have to bear the risk of locked liquidity—this deal just isn't worth it now.
Second, the EIP-8363 proposal is no joke. The community is already discussing drastically cutting or even zeroing issuance rewards when the staking rate hits 50%. Now at 34.7%, it's getting closer to that threshold. Once passed, those rushing in now will be stuck at the peak.
Third, from a price perspective, a high staking rate does lock liquidity, which supports the price. But on the flip side—so many people staking might also mean there are no better profit opportunities in the market. That’s actually a warning sign.
My strategy is clear: keep holding what I staked before, but I won’t add new positions. A 2.6% yield doesn’t justify the risk. Rather than locking liquidity for this small interest, I’d rather keep my ammo ready for better opportunities.
Of course, this is just my view. How you choose is up to you. $ETH Right now, I actually think Waller is in the most awkward position!
The market trusts data as the anchor for interest rate adjustments, so the current expectation for a rate hike in September has been lowered. If subsequent data continues to support this, expectations for a rate cut in September might even emerge, which is obviously not what Waller wants to see!
To put it bluntly, Waller doesn’t want to raise rates but rather wants to cut them. However, this rate cut absolutely cannot rely on current data; it must depend on the data from his working group. But the progress of the working group seems a bit slow, and Waller seems to be caught in a bind.
There is a hope to reduce forward guidance, but this week we can see Federal Reserve officials frequently commenting on future rates. Clearly, not everyone supports the so-called reduction in forward guidance.
So Waller’s situation looks somewhat awkward, which also lays a heavy foundation for future internal divisions within the Federal Reserve. And don’t forget, Powell is still inside the Fed. The upcoming "palace intrigue" at the Fed will be something to watch. Powell, as a scholar-type leader, holds himself in high regard and absolutely will not allow Waller to completely politicize the Fed.
In reality, the Fed can lack independence, but it absolutely cannot be politicized in name. At least, that’s what I think Powell believes! #CPI与PPI同步降温,加息分歧扩大 This pre-market drama in the US stock market vividly portrays the true human nature within the AI circle. On one side, Coherent ($COHR), a company in optical communications, has earnings guidance so strong it makes you want to call the authorities; on the other side, Cerebras, the chip newcomer claiming to disrupt NVIDIA, has already been discounted by 16% in secondary market expectations before even going public. 🤣
Coherent ($COHR)'s earnings guidance this round has comprehensively exceeded expectations, with logic as solid as rebar.
* No matter how powerful AI computing power is, without optical modules acting as highways to transmit data, it’s just an isolated island. Coherent’s breakout proves that orders for 800G and even 1.6T optical modules are not fictitious. This directly sets the tone for the entire industry: optical modules are not cyclical stocks; they are essential consumables in the AI era.
* It is expected that at tonight’s opening, optical communication peers both domestic and international (such as 中际旭创, $AVGO) will collectively give the shorts a physical exorcism.
As the company claiming to have the "world’s largest chip," Cerebras plunged 16% pre-market, a timely cold shower.
* The market is starting to sober up. Everyone realizes that making a giant chip is not difficult; the challenge lies in building an ecosystem moat like NVIDIA’s CUDA. This 16% drop is actually speculative capital retreating—people are realizing that the cost and risk of challenging $NVDA are far greater than sitting on the optical communication harvesting machine.
* This is a nightmare for those AI unicorns that haven’t gone public yet and rely solely on storytelling.$BTC Many people like to start by discussing Bitcoin's value by starting with the scarcity of 21 million decentralized coins. But there is actually another underlying logic: Bitcoin's value essentially comes from the competition of "Global Wealth Storage Rights+." What does that mean? For thousands of years, humanity has been searching: "What is best for long-term saving?" You will find that the assets that have truly won over the long term in history are actually only a few: land, gold, the US dollar, core equity, and government bonds. They all share one thing in common: they can handle large-scale wealth. And what BTC is truly fighting for now is actually this position. First, understand one question: What is wealth most afraid of? Many people think: the greatest fear of loss in wealth is loss. Actually, it's not. The biggest fear for truly large capital is: wealth cannot be preserved long-term. For example: You have 10 million today. What you care about most isn't: earning 10% tomorrow. Rather: can you still maintain purchasing power in 10 years? This is why: the true global capital eventually flows to: gold, US Treasuries, core real estate leaders, and equity. Because these assets essentially serve as "wealth storage pools." Why is BTC starting to get more expensive? Because global capital is beginning to discover: cracks are appearing in the traditional wealth storage system. For example: 1. Fiat currencies are becoming increasingly difficult to store wealth long-term Previously: US dollar interest rates were high, inflation was low. Holding cash is not a major problem. But now: after global long-term monetary easing, more and more people are realizing that cash is actually slowly shrinking. So: capital is starting to seek itThe key takeaway is: Russia is opening a regulated crypto door, but only a very narrow one.
🇷🇺 What stands out
BTC, ETH and USDT would be the initial assets available to ordinary investors under the proposed framework.
A 300,000-ruble annual purchase limit per institution and a risk assessment would constrain retail participation.
Professional investors would have considerably broader access, subject to compliance requirements.
The proposed requirements around market capitalization, trading volume and five years of price history naturally favor established assets.
Most smaller altcoins would therefore remain outside the initial regulated retail market.
🧠 The USDT inclusion is especially interesting
Putting USDT alongside BTC and ETH suggests that regulators are looking heavily at liquidity and established market infrastructure, rather than simply classifying assets by whether they're “crypto” or “traditional.”
That could be meaningful for BTC and ETH because regulated channels can potentially bring additional capital into the market.
But this isn't a blanket crypto opening.
Russia is essentially saying: “Crypto access is possible—but prove that the asset is large, liquid and established first.”
So for the broader altcoin market, this is actually a fairly restrictive development. The compliant retail door may be opening, but most altcoins are still standing outside it.This is an interesting development because DIGY11 gives investors Bitcoin-related income exposure without directly holding BTC.
The key distinction is important:
It does not hold Bitcoin directly.
It targets preferred equities connected to Bitcoin-heavy treasury companies such as Strategy and Strive.
Investors receive distributions in Brazilian reais, with currency hedging.
The proposed yield target of CDI + 3–5% annually makes it more of an income/credit-style Bitcoin proxy than a simple BTC investment.
Daily liquidity could make it easier for traditional Brazilian investors to access this theme.
The risk is that preferred-stock exposure isn't the same as Bitcoin exposure. The ETF's performance depends on the underlying companies, their financing structures, BTC prices, interest rates, and the ability of those companies to maintain distributions.
🧠 Bigger picture
This is another example of the Bitcoin ecosystem expanding beyond “buy BTC and hold it.”
We're seeing products built around:
BTC → treasury companies → preferred securities → ETF → traditional investors
If products like DIGY11 gain traction, they could create another channel for traditional capital to gain indirect Bitcoin-linked exposure and income.
So the interesting question isn't just whether BTC rises—it’s how many different financial products can eventually channel capital toward the Bitcoin treasury ecosystem. The important takeaway is that Russia appears to be moving toward controlled access, not full crypto legalization.
🇷🇺 What this could mean
BTC + ETH + USDT: These are the initial assets being considered for ordinary investors.
300,000 ruble annual limit: This keeps retail exposure relatively constrained.
Risk testing: Retail investors would need to demonstrate awareness of the risks before trading.
Professional investors: Much broader access, including other crypto assets, subject to compliance requirements.
Liquidity matters: The proposed eligibility criteria—large market cap, substantial trading volume, and a long price history—would naturally exclude most smaller altcoins.
🧠 The bigger signal
Including USDT alongside BTC and ETH is particularly interesting. It suggests regulators may be prioritizing liquidity, market depth, and established trading infrastructure rather than simply accepting assets based on their technological narrative.
For the crypto market, this is potentially positive for BTC and ETH, because regulated access can create another channel for capital.
But for most altcoins, the message is almost the opposite:
Russia is opening a crypto door—but it's opening the door to a very small group of established assets.
So this is better described as regulated crypto integration rather than a broad Russian crypto liberalization.$BTC vs $ETH: Liquidity tells a different story.
BTC market cap is ~5.6× ETH, but trading volume is only ~3.1×.
BTC is the market’s liquidity anchor, absorbing ETF and macro allocation flows. ETH is more of a high-beta rotation asset, with DeFi, L2, staking and altcoin activity amplifying volatility.
If allocation capital dominates → BTC keeps the certainty premium.
If trading capital returns → ETH’s higher liquidity elasticity could drive the next move

That can explain the sharp repricing: fewer tokens + unchanged/increased demand = potentially stronger scarcity effect. OKB has also been among the stronger crypto performers recently.
However, a burn doesn't guarantee the price keeps rising. After a major supply-driven move, profit-taking and volatility can be substantial.
So the key things to watch are:
Whether OKB can hold above $100
Whether trading volume remains elevated
Whether the new 21M supply structure translates into sustained ecosystem demand
In short: **the burn changes the tokenomics fundamentally; the next question is whether demand can justify the new valuation.**The next crypto crash might not show up on your K-line first. It might come from Washington, the Fed, or the Middle East.
Let’s be honest: we spend way too much time staring at candles while the biggest market-moving events are happening completely outside the chart.
A golden cross won’t save you if the Fed suddenly turns hawkish.
A perfect support level won’t matter if oil explodes because of a Middle East crisis.
And no bullish pattern can replace clear crypto regulation.
Right now, I’m watching three things more closely than any K-line:
1️⃣ CPI — The Fed’s biggest trigger
July inflation cooled, which is encouraging. But cooler inflation doesn’t automatically mean liquidity is coming back.
The real question is: When does the Fed actually become easier, and when does money start flowing into risk assets again?
Don’t confuse “less bad” with “bullish.”
2️⃣ SEC / CLARITY Act — Regulation still matters
The CLARITY Act being pushed toward September keeps the uncertainty alive.
Institutions want clarity before putting serious money into crypto. Until the rules become clearer, regulatory headlines can still move the market faster than technical analysis.
3️⃣ Strait of Hormuz — The black swan nobody wants
If tensions between the U.S. and Iran escalate and the Strait of Hormuz is disrupted, oil could spike hard.
Oil ↑ → Inflation ↑ → Fed gets tougher → Liquidity tightens → Crypto gets hit.
That chain reaction could move faster than any trader can react to.
So what am I watching?
🔹 BTC: Are institutions still willing to buy?
🔹 ETH: Is capital finally rotating beyond BTC?
🔹 SOL: Is the volatility getting euphoric or dangerous?
🔹 HYPE: Is on-chain leverage and speculation heating up?
🔹 OKB: Can platform tokens continue showing relative strength?
At the end of the day, the next major move may not come from a golden cross or death cross.
It could come from a Fed statement, a Washington decision, or one headline from the Middle East.
Watch the world, not just the chart.
And above everything else: protect your capital.
#DailyOrbit PPI came in below expectations, but don’t expect a surge.
July PPI: 0% vs 0.2% expected
Core PPI: 0.2% vs 0.3% expected
Short-term bullish, but mostly confirms the cooling-inflation narrative already priced in.
$BTC can test $64K–64.5K, but needs volume to break through. Otherwise, $63K–63.5K remains the consolidation zone.
$ETH may stay around $1,880–1,920.
Bottom line: PPI makes bears cautious, not bulls aggressive. Wait for confirmation rather than chasing the data.
