I have a friend named Old Z. Everyone who knows him thinks he's pretty sharp and never loses in business. But when it comes to the crypto world, this guy seems like a completely different person.
Back in 2021, he saw people in the group chat constantly posting screenshots like "woke up to find a new car," and he got really itchy inside. One night, after drinking a bit, he got impulsive and put all the money he had saved for renovations into an exchange, buying a ridiculously long-named altcoin that was called an "Ethereum killer." After buying, he even messaged me on WeChat: "Bro, wait for my seaside villa."
So what happened? The next morning, sober, he opened the app and saw it had dropped 40%. He didn’t dare sell, thinking, "It’s already dropped this much, how much lower can it go?" Then that coin kept dropping 90%, and eventually the project team ran off, the official website was down. Old Z stared at the zeroed-out candlestick chart, smoked half a pack, and told me: "This thing is harsher than a casino; at least casinos hand you a glass of water."
He kept quiet for about half a year, until early last year when Bitcoin surged again, and he couldn’t resist. But this time he learned his lesson: no junk coins, just steady investments in Bitcoin and Ethereum. He even kept a little notebook, recording every purchase, calling it "saving coins for retirement." Recently, he did the math and found that after more than a year of steady investing, he was still down by over ten percent overall. But his mindset was surprisingly good, saying that before, chasing highs and lows would lose him a month’s salary in a day, but now these small fluctuations just make him sleepy.
The funniest part was last month when he dug out that abandoned wallet and found a few hundred yuan worth of some DeFi token left from back then. Somehow, it had quintupled in value. He quickly sold it and treated us to hotpot. At the table, holding his chopsticks, he said: "After messing around in crypto for years, I finally understand one thing — the more you want to make quick money, the faster it runs away; if you treat it like a piggy bank and toss some in from time to time, it might just surprise you."
Now Old Z still checks the market every day but isn’t easily startled anymore. He says his biggest hobby now is watching people argue in various project communities, finding it more entertaining than watching comedy shows.
This story isn’t earth-shattering, just the experience of an ordinary person around me. I’m sharing it to say that the crypto world isn’t full of overnight riches; more often it’s like Old Z — paying tuition, taking hits, and eventually finding your own rhythm.
If you’re going through a similar phase, don’t panic, take it slow. As long as you’re still in the game, there are plenty of opportunities.
As long as the green mountains remain, there’s no fear of running out of firewood.

📌Core Market Overview: "Elon Musk says AI will account for 99% of SpaceX's value" has become the core topic of ongoing discussion. $SPCX experienced divergent fluctuations intraday, with short-term funds repeatedly speculating on this long-term growth narrative; combined with the release of macro CPI and employment data, the market is simultaneously trading rate cut expectations and individual stock long-term stories, showing clear divergence in fund sentiment.
1. Core Narrative Continues to Ferment
The main driver of this round of market activity is not short-term earnings but the long-term value revaluation logic: Musk stated that AI business will account for 99% of SpaceX's total value in the next 5 years, with AI revenue surpassing traditional rocket business.
This expectation continuously attracts funds for repeated trading but with significant divergence: bulls speculate on the long-term option value of integrated AI + Starlink + Terafab chips; bears question the long cycle, huge capital expenditure, and difficulty in realizing profits in the short term, making the story prone to periodic valuation overextension. Market performance shows pulse rallies during news fermentation and rapid pullbacks after sentiment fades.
2. Macro Environment's Linked Impact
With CPI falling and employment data weakening, the market is repricing Fed rate cut expectations, which is the underlying environment for all risk assets.
In this environment, high-expectation, long-term story-driven assets are more likely to attract funds; conversely, if macro expectations fluctuate repeatedly, the volatility of these purely expectation-driven assets will be further amplified. $NVDA also showed slight synchronized fluctuations on the market, with AI mainline assets linked to macro sentiment.
3. Market Signals and Trading Thoughts
1. Short-term characteristics: This is a news-driven pulse market; repeated positive news tends to spike and then fall back, making chasing the rally unsuitable; true trend confirmation requires subsequent data validation (AI orders, satellite expansion, wafer fab progress) and cannot rely solely on rhetoric speculation.
2. Product perspective: The market is beginning to see structured products (dual-currency wins) that cater to funds "bullish on the asset but unwilling to buy at current prices," suitable for more conservative funds to adopt a wait-and-see layout. This is a completely different risk logic from contract speculation on volatility.
3. Risk focus: $SPCX is a long-term narrative asset with an extremely long fundamental realization cycle. Contract leverage trading will amplify drawdowns caused by expectation gaps, so risk control priority must be first. Confirmation speed compressed to 150 milliseconds: How will Solana's Alpenglow upgrade push the MEV frontrunning battlefield to its physical limits?
If you follow the underlying technical iterations of the Solana ecosystem, you have probably heard of the upcoming Alpenglow consensus restructuring proposal.
The most attractive aspect of this upgrade is that it forcibly compresses the network's original ultimate transaction confirmation time, which used to take about ten seconds, down to an astonishing 150 milliseconds. This means that from the user's perspective, the time from clicking buy to the blockchain completing deterministic settlement is almost instantaneous.
For ordinary traders, this extremely smooth experience is certainly a welcome improvement.
However, when I discussed this upgrade with several quantitative traders engaged in high-frequency arbitrage, their focus was entirely on another dimension. At the physical limit of sub-second block production, the entire network's MEV arbitrage and frontrunning battlefield will be forced to undergo an unprecedented physical migration.
Previously, with confirmation windows lasting tens of seconds or even several seconds, arbitrage bots had ample time to listen to the mempool, calculate arbitrage opportunities, and submit Jito tips to complete front-running.
But once the confirmation time is compressed to 150 milliseconds, traditional post-arbitrage and intermediate computation windows are almost instantly eliminated. Because the time window for transaction computation is so short, competition among high-frequency arbitrage teams will completely shift from algorithmic superiority to a rapid contest of physical infrastructure.
Whoever's server is physically closer to the validator node's data center, and whoever has faster fiber optic signal transmission, will occupy the forefront of transaction ordering within microsecond-level latency differences.
This shift of the high-frequency battlefield to physical hardware and fiber latency competition is actually a double-edged sword for the entire Solana ecosystem.
On one hand, the extremely high transaction confirmation speed indeed creates a decentralized trading hall comparable to Web2 experiences; on the other hand, it also means that ordinary retail investors become more vulnerable when facing high-frequency market makers equipped with physically proximate hosting servers. When the market fluctuates sharply, market maker bots can update prices and frontrun within microseconds, while ordinary users' Swap transactions are easily exploited precisely by high-frequency algorithms.
When public chain performance approaches the physical speed of light limit, finding a balance between extreme transaction efficiency and basic fairness defenses is the most challenging question in the next phase of public chain evolution.
Finally, a question for friends: Do you think faster transaction confirmation speeds benefit retail investors more, or do you think faster speeds make it easier for high-frequency arbitrage bots to harvest retail investors as "chives"?

Just wait.. 🔥Inflation continues to cool! Internal battles erupt within the Federal Reserve, BTC opportunities are emerging CPI and PPI cool down simultaneously, interest rate hike disagreements widen
Two consecutive inflation data releases signal a turning point! PPI year-on-year fell from 5.5% to 4.7%, core PPI also dropped from 4.7% to 4.2%, both figures below market expectations. Yesterday's CPI data also weakened, maintaining a year-on-year rate of 3.4%. Coupled with initial jobless claims rising to 209,000, the labor market shows signs of weakness.
Connecting several core indicators reveals the situation: inflation is easing simultaneously on the consumer and producer sides, employment sentiment is declining, and all signals weaken the Federal Reserve's rationale for further rate hikes. This round of inflation decline is clear and not a short-term disturbance. However, note that core CPI year-on-year remains at 3.1%, still quite far from the 2% policy target.
Currently, the Federal Reserve is like a battlefield of camps! Harker insists on continuing rate hikes; Barkin argues that the current rate level is sufficient to curb inflation. One side advocates further tightening, the other chooses to wait and see, their views are completely opposed. The split between bullish and bearish opinions means that September rate expectations will not be finalized by a single round of economic data; volatile games will continue.
Turning attention back to the BTC chart. CPI and PPI both weaken alongside softer employment data, the market's probability forecast for a September rate hike is likely to continue declining. Previously, rate hike expectations were priced as high as 48%, and after this data release, it is expected to fall below 40%. The dollar is under pressure, U.S. Treasury yields are falling, creating a short-term bullish environment for BTC. The current price is consolidating around 64,000, and the dual inflation data release is an important short-term catalyst.
Let's talk about practical positioning. Continue holding the long position entered at 62,288, with a protective stop loss moved up to 63,000. If the market volume breaks through the 64,800-65,000 range, additional positions can be added. The first target is 66,000–66,500; if successfully broken, look towards 67,000 to 68,000. If the price pulls back to the 63,500-63,800 range without a volume breakout, this is also a good window to add positions.
Inflation heat gradually fades, internal conflicts within the Federal Reserve intensify, and funds are repricing the direction of September monetary policy. The big picture remains unchanged, but market rhythm is full of uncertainties. CPI and PPI cooling are short-term bullish catalysts, and official disagreements ensure volatility will not disappear. Hold your chips firmly, don’t get shaken out by the back-and-forth swings!

One sentence from Ma, $SPCX shoots up like a mushroom after rain. Intraday high of 149.6, closing up 9.65% at 146.15, a full 40% rise from the bottom. My long position ran faster than a rocket, looking back, my thigh got slapped three times.
At the all-hands meeting, Old Ma laid it out: AI revenue will single-handedly surpass SpaceX next month. The computing power target by the end of next year is 10 gigawatts, and his ledger says — in five years, AI will consume 99% of SpaceX's value.
Valuation models were overturned overnight. Aerospace company? No, it's a space AI computing power company. The logic changed, so the price naturally doesn't recognize the old accounts.
But the burn rate is fierce. Q2 capital expenditure was 18.37 billion, 15.8 billion invested in AI infrastructure, revenue only 7.8 billion, burn rate is 2.35 times the revenue. The pie is big enough, and the fire is hot enough.

#芯片股领涨,韩股十日反弹逾22% **SK Hynix (000660.KS): Nearly 6% Surge Today, Is the AI Storage Leader's Rebound Here?**
Today (August 13), the South Korean stock market closed with **SK Hynix at 1,593,000 KRW, up 89,000 KRW, a gain of +5.92%**.
The intraday high reached 1,634,000 KRW, the low was 1,567,000 KRW, with a trading volume of about 4.6 million shares, showing a clear increase in volume. The ADR (SKHY) also strengthened in sync.
This rise is not isolated; memory stocks like Micron and SanDisk also rebounded simultaneously, driven mainly by a global warming sentiment around AI memory.
### Today's Market Analysis
- **Strong Rebound**: After a few days of profit-taking and valuation concerns post-earnings, the stock fully recovered today, indicating investors are still willing to buy after the correction.
- **Sector Resonance**: Clear linkage with Micron (MU) and SanDisk (SNDK), as the market refocuses on HBM shortages and the sustainability of AI capital expenditures.
- **Technical Aspect**: A short-term rebound from recent lows, but still far below the yearly high (near 3 million KRW), indicating that the recovery after this correction is just beginning.
### Why Is Hynix Still the Core of AI Storage?
SK Hynix is currently one of the **largest market share holders in HBM** (dominated by HBM3E, with HBM4 ramping up), deeply tied to clients like NVIDIA.
Q1 earnings set a record (revenue exceeding 52 trillion KRW, operating margin as high as 72%), with HBM capacity basically sold out through the end of 2026, giving it strong pricing power.
Analysts generally maintain high target prices (some institutions call for 2 million KRW or even higher), based on core logic:
- AI demand for high-bandwidth memory is structural, not a short-term spike.
- The shortage pattern is expected to last at least until 2027.
- The company has clear leading advantages in advanced processes and packaging.
### Risks and Views
**Still optimistic in the mid-to-long term**, but discipline is needed at the current level:
- Strengths: strongest fundamentals, deep HBM moat, outstanding profitability.
- Risks: valuation is no longer cheap; if capacity expansion accelerates or AI capital spending slows, valuation could be hit hard; the Korean stock market itself is volatile.
**Trading Advice (Personal View)**:
After today's big rise, chasing higher is not recommended. Existing positions can be held but with controlled allocation; those without positions can wait for a pullback to key support (around 1.5 million KRW) to build positions gradually. The high beta nature of memory stocks means they can double quickly but also retreat fast.
SK Hynix’s actual price action today tells the market: the AI storage story is far from over.
What’s your take on the sustainability of this rebound? $SKHYNIX SanDisk xSNDK suddenly surged violently, skyrocketing to 1500+ on the 1-hour chart, with a 24h increase of over 10%.
The reason is simple:
Today, SanDisk and Kioxia jointly released the 9th generation 2Tb QLC 3D flash memory, with a 33% increase in read/write speed, optimized specifically for AI data centers.
The actual stock took off directly, while the tokenized version trades 24/7 with high leverage, reacting even more sharply.
My personal view:
The AI storage wave is far from over; long-term contracts locking volume and a price increase cycle are still ongoing. SanDisk is indeed a genuine beneficiary.
However, the current valuation is already not low. It previously retraced half from 2300. Such news-driven violent surges tend to spike and then pull back in the short term.
My strategy:
I am optimistic about the mid-to-long-term AI storage logic but will never chase the highs.

No rush, the market has no shortage of opportunities. The biggest concern for BTC right now is not a drop, but the "bullish news failing to push it up"
BTC has currently returned to around $63,400. From the 15-minute structure, several upward attempts today have not truly broken through; after the previous high of 64,466, the highs have clearly started to decline. The price has now fallen back below MA5 and MA10, the KDJ J value has dropped into negative territory, and short-term active selling pressure slightly dominates.
What deserves more attention is the macro background.
The US July CPI basically met expectations, and today's PPI release was soft, both signals that should reduce inflation pressure. However, BTC has not gained sustained buying from this; instead, it continues to hover below $64,000. The latest market observations also point out that the soft CPI and PPI have not effectively ignited BTC; the core issue is shifting from "will inflation continue to rise" to "who will provide the next round of incremental buying." (CoinDesk)
This is my core judgment on the market now:
Macro bearish factors are decreasing, but reducing bearishness does not equal the emergence of new upward momentum.
Technically, the 63,300–63,350 range has become a very critical short-term support zone, close to the Bollinger lower band at 63,355 and the 63,328 support shown in the chart. If this area can be quickly reclaimed, BTC will still be oscillating within the 63,300–64,200 range; but if it breaks down with volume, I will be more cautious about the market retesting the previous low near 63,160.
Conversely, the bulls really need to prove themselves not by reclaiming 63,700, but by breaking through and holding above 64,200–64,500. Before that, I will not prematurely define a new upward wave just because inflation data looks somewhat favorable.
At this stage, the price's reaction strength to bullish news is more important than the bullish news itself.
If a market continuously receives decent macro conditions but still cannot rise, what we really need to study may no longer be "what other bullish factors exist," but rather—why is capital unwilling to chase? $BTC For this round of BTC, first look at the speed and tone, not just the popularity ranking.
OKX Onchain OS recorded 40 mentions of BTC in one hour at 20:00 on August 13, including 31 from X and 9 from news.
Compared to the 24-hour hourly average, this round's speed is 0.65 times, classified as "significantly slowed down"; the tone is 20% more bullish and 35% more bearish. There is no need to force these two lines into the same conclusion: popularity answers how many people are talking, tone answers which side the text leans toward, and neither can directly replace transaction volume and capital flow.
If in the next round the speed, news sources, and actual market transactions continue together, then increase confidence in the judgment; if it quickly returns to the average, this change is more like short-term noise. Tonight's PPI forecast: Will there be a new surge or just another "Buy the rumor, sell the news" trap?
Inflation data (July CPI): Up 3.4% YoY and only 0.1% MoM confirms inflation is under control.
Tonight's PPI forecast: Expected at 4.9% (down from 5.5% previously). If the forecast is accurate, this is just another piece continuing the cooling trend established by the CPI, unlikely to cause a major surprise.
ETH price movement: After the CPI news, ETH surged to $1,924.97 then immediately dropped sharply by 70 points to around $1,870 — a clear demonstration of the "Buy the rumor, sell the news" sentiment.
Perspective: Even if tonight's PPI matches expectations, the likelihood of a second sustainable breakout is very low. The most probable scenario is a quick spike followed by a reversal downward. Be cautious, everyone!
$ETH #CPI与PPI同步降温,加息分歧扩大
Good evening, fans and friends, the market sentiment is really starting to change.
Do you remember a month ago? Everyone was still discussing one question: Will the Fed continue to raise rates in September?
But now, the script is quietly reversing.
With changes in CPI and employment data, concerns about "higher and longer" interest rates are cooling down, and capital is beginning to trade ahead on expectations of future liquidity turning more accommodative.
This could be an important signal for BTC.
If the US dollar weakens and US Treasury yields fall, and market risk appetite heats up again, then BTC and growth stocks in the US stock market, along with other risk assets, may regain capital attention.
So what really needs to be watched now is not just a single statement from the Fed, but three indicators:
The US dollar + US Treasury yields + BTC capital flows.
If these three directions start to change in sync, it’s worth being alert.
Because this may mean the market is no longer simply trading on "whether the Fed will raise rates in September," but is instead front-running the next round of easing expectations.
Therefore, going forward, the key to how the market moves depends on whether capital has truly started to act. OI and funding come before the price of SOL. The easiest variable to break is not the price, but the speed of position accumulation in the futures market. There are two key facts confirmed in the original text. First, the daily non-vote transaction volume on the Solana network reaches about 171.9 million. Second, Solana's expansion path is broadening beyond simple traffic increases to include tokenized stocks, payments, and RWA sectors. However, the 60% probability of a rise to $78–80 presented in the original text is a subjective forecast without verifiable evidence, so it should not be considered a fact but only treated as one scenario. The significance of this event to the market structure is clear. The surge in Solana's transaction volume indicates increased network usability, which serves as a catalyst to revalue SOL from merely a leveraged betting asset to a practical utility asset. However, the market has already priced in some of these fundamentals to a certain extent. The real issues are twofold. One is whether the increase in OI comes from new long position inflows or existing 😶😶😶😶😶$AVNT🤓
Here’s a brief conclusion: The short-term has already seen a rapid surge, so it’s not suitable to chase higher or add positions; the core position can be held lightly for the mid-to-long term, but strict stop-loss settings are essential, heavy positions are not recommended.
Current price: $45.77 (2026.8.13), up 40.23% in the past 3 months, short-term upside is overstretched.
Risk warning: US stock investments carry risks such as exchange rates, Federal Reserve policies, and industry cycles. The following is only objective data analysis and does not constitute any investment advice.
1. Core positives (supporting mid-to-long term holding logic)
1. Earnings beat expectations, profit margin hits record high, full-year guidance raised
Q2 2026, EPS $0.96, +20% YoY, significantly above analyst expectations; revenue $917 million, +5.8% YoY, organic growth 4.3%, EBITDA margin rose to a record 18.3%.
The company raised full-year EPS guidance to $3.10–3.25, free cash flow guidance increased, cash flow stable, continuous debt repayment, and asset structure steadily optimized.
2. Regional demand fully rebounds, explosive growth in Asia business
Q2 Asia-Pacific quarterly growth +20% QoQ, US, Latin America, and Europe all show positive QoQ growth; downstream medical, data center electronics, and high-end packaging demand steadily recover, breaking free from bulk commodity cycle drag, with the high value-added specialty materials transformation strategy taking effect.
3. Reasonable valuation, stable dividends, strong defensive attributes
TTM P/E 24.7, forward dynamic PE only 13.86, relatively low valuation in the fine chemicals sector; dividend yield 2.43%, stable annual dividends, suitable for core position allocation to earn both yield and capital appreciation.
4. Institutional ratings lean positive, target price midpoint $46.71
6 institutions: 3 buy, 3 hold; highest target $56, lowest $41, average upside only 1.7%, limited short-term upside, but steady mid-to-long term performance delivery could push price higher.
2. Major risks (core reasons against heavy positions and short-term chasing)
1. Violent short-term price surge, high risk of pullback
Price rose from $32.64 to $45.77 in 3 months, over 40% increase, a reactive rebound driven by earnings catalyst; RSI and stochastic indicators near overbought zone, a 10%–15% technical correction could occur anytime.
52-week high $46.64, current price near yearly high, heavy overhead resistance from locked-in positions.
2. High leverage, financial resilience has weaknesses
Debt-to-asset ratio near 60%, D/E=0.81, large interest-bearing debt scale, interest expenses continuously erode profits; if downstream manufacturing demand weakens or raw material prices rise, debt pressure will quickly increase, limiting expansion and buyback capacity. In 2025, there was an $86 million ERP project impairment, indicating flaws in management’s capital operations.
3. Downstream end industries diverge, automotive and shipping remain weak
Demand in transportation, vehicle manufacturing, and maritime equipment is sluggish; management confirms no significant recovery expected from Q3 to H2, dragging related segment revenue growth, structural growth weaknesses exist.
4. Macro factor: Fed’s September meeting is the biggest variable
AVNT is a cyclical growth stock, highly sensitive to USD interest rates; if the Fed delays rate cuts or inflation rebounds in September, US cyclical sectors will face pressure, and AVNT will likely follow the broader market down.
3. Cycle-based holding strategy (can be directly implemented)
1. Short-term (1–4 weeks): no new positions, manage existing positions with stop profit and stop loss
- Resistance: first resistance at $46.65 (yearly high), partial profit-taking if broken; strong resistance at $48.
- Stop loss: if price falls below $43 effectively, reduce half position; below $41, exit all.
- Logic: short-term gains are too large, profit-taking and consolidation highly probable, low risk/reward for upward speculation.
2. Mid-term (3–12 months): hold core small position, never heavy
Suitable allocation: 3%–5% of total assets, max no more than 8%.
Holding conditions:
① Quarterly reports maintain margin expansion and organic revenue growth;
② Continuous reduction of interest-bearing debt;
③ Fed initiates rate cuts as expected.
Profit targets: first target $50, second target $55–56 (corresponding to highest institutional target).
3. Long-term (1–3 years): can hold core position as defensive allocation
The company is transitioning from general plastic distribution to high-end specialty materials, with clear growth logic tied to medical, electronics, and new energy materials long-term demand, plus stable dividends, suitable as a defensive core holding in US stock portfolios, but not for expecting explosive growth—more of a steady slow bull.
4. Concise summary
1. For those with no position: do not chase now, wait for pullback to $41–43 range, then accumulate gradually;
2. For existing core holders: keep core positions for mid-to-long term, defend at $43, partially take profits above $46.6;
3. For heavy holders: recommend reducing positions gradually on rallies to lower exposure and avoid short-term technical sharp declines;
4. For short-term profit seekers: this stock is not suitable, it’s a steady cyclical growth stock with much less volatility than tech stocks, unlikely to have continuous explosive rallies. After AI can automatically write code, will SOL become more prosperous, or will there be more trash projects?
AI programming is lowering the development threshold. Wallets, trading tools, and smart contracts that used to require a team months to complete can now be quickly built by a few developers with the help of AI.
On the surface, this is a huge benefit for $SOL.
Solana’s low fees and high speed are naturally suitable for high-frequency applications and rapid iteration. If AI enables developers to launch products faster, the number of mini-games, trading bots, Meme tools, and consumer applications on Solana may further increase.
The more applications on a chain, the easier it is for users to find reasons to stay, and the demand for wallets and stablecoins may also expand accordingly.
However, a low threshold will not only increase good products but also increase trash projects, copies, and malicious code.
When anyone can have AI generate token contracts, trading websites, and marketing content, the cost of issuing tokens will continue to drop. The market may see more “new projects” every day, but truly valuable attention will become even scarcer.
SOL is already good at generating fast, intensive trading activity, and AI may further amplify this feature: hot spots emerge faster, projects are copied faster, and scams and fund withdrawals happen faster as well.
Therefore, AI programming brings not only application prosperity to SOL but also a potential trust crisis.
Users will find it increasingly difficult to judge whether a project is reliable through websites, whitepapers, or even code appearance, because all of these can be cheaply generated by AI. Wallet security alerts, contract risk detection, and on-chain identity systems may become more important than simply increasing TPS.
$ETH has another advantage in this regard.
The Ethereum ecosystem has more security tools, auditing agencies, and mature protocols. High-value projects are often willing to accept longer development and verification cycles. After AI accelerates development, these security infrastructures may help ETH accommodate more complex and higher-value applications.
SOL wins in release speed; ETH wins in verification systems.
But both chains ultimately face the same question: when code is no longer scarce, what is the true moat of a project?
The answer may be users, brand, liquidity, and a security record proven over time. AI can copy a piece of code but cannot immediately replicate an active community or fake years of stable operation history.
Therefore, in the AI era, evaluating public chains cannot rely solely on the number of new contracts and projects.
If applications increase but there is no retention, revenue, or real capital accumulation, it is more like automated on-chain noise; if more products that can survive cycles appear after development costs drop, that is the real ecological dividend.
AI will make SOL livelier, but whether the liveliness is more valuable depends on whether security and screening mechanisms can keep up with production speed. I am Cige, a 22% rise in ten days, and the KOSPI went straight from ICU to KTV.
Samsung and SK Hynix both surged over 5%, with programmatic buying driving trading halts.
This desperate counterattack is powered by three engines simultaneously.
The first engine is AI capital expenditure reigniting hardware demand. Global tech giants continue to pour money into AI infrastructure according to their latest earnings reports. A Jefferies strategist said, "We remain confident in our overweight positions in the AI sector, with strong earnings season performance and no signs of capital expenditure slowdown." AI is expanding into more practical applications, significantly boosting memory chip demand, while supply capacity is limited, creating a clear bottleneck. Samsung and SK Hynix stock prices have both risen over 100% year-to-date in 2026. This rebound indicates that capital is reaffirming the long-term logic of AI storage.
The second engine is the return of foreign capital. Singapore's sovereign wealth fund Temasek is reportedly planning its first direct purchase of Samsung and SK Hynix, believing that storage chips in the AI supply chain remain undervalued. Temasek's current AI-related investments account for about 6% of its overall portfolio, with plans to increase to a maximum of 15% by 2031. If finalized, this would be Temasek's first direct investment in the Korean stock market. This sends a strong signal to the market that long-term capital is beginning to treat storage as a core component of AI infrastructure.
The third engine is internal valuation repair and easing deleveraging pressure. In July, leveraged chip stock positions were liquidated en masse, triggering trading halts and wiping out billions of dollars from Korean retail investors. Recently, the Korean government tightened regulations on single-stock leveraged ETFs, easing deleveraging pressure. Samsung and SK Hynix have forward P/E ratios of only 4.2 and 3.6 respectively, far below the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index components' average of over 21. The CEO of Life Asset Management put it bluntly, "The market has overcorrected; the current rebound is a natural recovery." Samsung and SK Hynix are expected to announce new shareholder return plans by the end of August at the earliest, with market expectations that Samsung's shareholder returns could increase more than tenfold compared to current levels.
Impact on BTC
In the short term, the rebound in Korean stocks and the surge in the storage sector will boost risk appetite across the Asia-Pacific market. BTC, as the world's most liquidity-sensitive risk asset, will benefit simultaneously. The sentiment recovery in storage stocks means the AI hardware narrative remains intact, and BTC's underlying hashrate economic logic remains solid. However, geopolitical risks remain a concern; the Strait of Hormuz is still closed. If the stalemate lasts months rather than weeks, the market will need to reprice.
Impact on SanDisk
The entire storage sector is warming up, and SanDisk, as a NAND leader, directly benefits. AI data centers are driving rapid growth in enterprise SSD demand, with NAND prices rising nearly tenfold over the past year. But short-term sentiment recovery does not mean a trend reversal. SK Hynix's Dalian second plant will add 50,000 wafers per month of capacity in the first half of 2027, increasing supply-side pressure. SanDisk's earnings guidance below expectations remains the core contradiction unresolved; the short-term rebound is sentiment recovery, while the medium-term direction depends on supply-demand balance.
KOSPI has climbed out of the abyss, but a V-shaped reversal does not mean there won't be a second dip. Geopolitical stalemate, Federal Reserve policy path, and whether AI capital expenditure can continue—any one of these variables going wrong could interrupt this rebound. The short-term direction is bullish, but don't chase the highs after a sharp rise.

Although still above 2% compared to FED's interest rate expectations, weak employment data has increased the likelihood of the FED keeping rates unchanged at the September meeting to 70%. Hi September Anthropic's IPO is accelerating again, but the official confirmation only states that the S-1 has been submitted; the issuance scale and price are undecided. Valuation is soaring first, while the cash register is still being installed.
Solana, don't rush to ride the IPO wave; first see if AI demand has landed on the chain. Grass reported revenue of $17 million in the first half of this year, with the second phase rewards switching to USDC supported by network revenue, without additional token emissions.
This is not positive news for SOL. I will monitor Grass's revenue, on-chain transactions, and Solana fees, and place the unlock calendar alongside. As the unlock date approaches, it's like the fridge door not being closed tightly—how can the cold air not leak? Keep an eye on it.

This looks more like a "oversold recovery + AI demand repricing" and cannot yet be considered a new round of a one-sided bull market.
At the end of July, the market experienced a sharp sell-off due to semiconductor concerns and leveraged trading, with SK Hynix plunging at one point. Subsequently, expectations for AI-driven storage demand recovered, and funds returned to the chip sector.
What really matters now is not how much the KOSPI has risen, but whether AI capital expenditure can continue to convert into real orders for HBM, DRAM, etc., and whether foreign capital can sustain its inflow.
If these two signals continue to improve, Korean chip stocks still have room to rise; if it’s just an emotional recovery, the faster the rise, the more likely a secondary pullback will occur.
So if I were to choose the AI industry chain, I would prioritize storage/HBM but would not chase the 22% gains.
The same applies to the crypto space: AI narratives can drive sentiment, but ultimately it depends on whether real demand materializes.
Rebounds can be chased, but trends must be verified.

US July PPI:
• Monthly rate 0.0%, expected +0.2%
• Annual rate 4.7%, previous 5.5%
• Core PPI monthly rate +0.2%
• Core PPI annual rate +4.2%
The key point is not that PPI didn’t rise, but:
The risk of inflation accelerating again has slightly decreased.
After the data release, the market’s probability of a Fed rate hike in September dropped from about 40% to 32%.
For US stocks:
Interest rate pressure decreases, making tech growth stocks more comfortable.
For the crypto space:
The logic is actually the same.
Inflation cooling → rate hike expectations decline → liquidity expectations improve → $BTC / $ETH benefit.
Currently, $BTC is around $63,700, reflecting a somewhat positive reaction, but no particularly exaggerated surge has occurred yet. US July PPI data released, showing signs of inflation divergence
#CPI and PPI cooling down simultaneously, interest rate hike disagreements widen
US July PPI unexpectedly fell below expectations, with the annual rate dropping to 4.7%, the lowest since March. Combined with moderate CPI performance, inflationary pressure appears to have eased. The decline is mainly driven by weaker energy prices in the goods sector. Core PPI excluding energy and trade items rose 0.4% month-on-month, indicating underlying inflation risks remain, and oil prices still have rebound potential. The market currently lowers the probability of a Fed rate hike in September to 40%. The policy stance is merely a pause, not the start of an easing cycle. Internal Fed disagreements continue to intensify. Future policy direction requires close attention to August economic data and oil price fluctuations.

Overall, the data is mixed, making it difficult to sustain a one-sided trend. Short-term inflation cooling news may temporarily boost risk assets, but do not blindly chase. Core PPI hides resilience that limits upside potential. The main resistance zone for Bitcoin remains near 660, with support at 620. Funds will stay in a wait-and-see, strategic game mode. Short-term trading is suitable for range-bound operations with strict position control; avoid heavy bets on direction. Subsequent oil prices and August economic data will again dominate market volatility. Any one-sided trend requires stronger catalysts to materialize. Here's the part many crypto traders miss. SanDisk's explosive rally was triggered by the Investor Day on August 13.
The company management dropped a bunch of solid facts at the meeting, directly igniting market sentiment. #芯片股领涨,韩股十日反弹逾22%
First solid fact: Long-term financial targets. For fiscal years 2028 to 2030, revenue is expected to grow in the mid-to-high double digits, gross margin will remain around 80%, operating margin close to 75%, and free cash flow margin at 50%. These numbers imply the company believes the high gross margin of AI storage can be sustained long-term, not just a cyclical peak.
Second solid fact: Contracts and shareholder returns. Long-term agreements have been signed with 8 customers, with a total contract value of $93.9 billion during the contract period. Even more impressive, the CFO stated that after investing in the business, all excess cash will be returned to shareholders. This is very attractive to institutional investors.
Third solid fact: Analyst endorsements. After SanDisk released its earnings report, Bank of America went against the crowd to maintain a buy rating with a target price of $2500. Lynx analysts also clarified previous market concerns, with the CEO explicitly stating that bit output growth may exceed market expectations at certain stages.
Key background: Oversold rebound. SanDisk fell from a June high of $2354 to around $1190, nearly halving. The plunge was because although the Q4 earnings were explosive (revenue up 372% year-over-year, gross margin 84.6%), the next quarter guidance was slightly below buyer expectations, causing the market to sell off.
After such a drop, Investor Day gave the market a reason to reprice. Concerns about the cycle peaking and unsustainable profits were addressed by management with a long-term financial framework and $93.9 billion in contracts.
After the news, SanDisk surged 15% to $1544, with a total market cap of $225.4 billion.
This is the complete logic behind SanDisk's explosive rally. Earnings were explosive but guidance missed, causing an initial drop; Investor Day provided long-term guidance and pulled it back up, benefiting both bulls and bears.
The above analysis is timely; orders must have stop losses set. Good luck. $BTC $ETH $OKB After today's PPI data update, the probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates in September has decreased, but there are still Fed officials saying that a rate hike is necessary, mainly due to inflation. Although the data for July shows a decrease, this is because the average oil price in July was even lower than in June. However, the average gasoline price in August is higher than in July, so there is a strong possibility that inflation will rebound in August.
Unless the war between the US and Iran is resolved quickly, or the Strait of Hormuz is cleared, maintaining the current prices is not good for US inflation.
From my personal perspective, the probability of a rate hike in September is not high. Although I mentioned that the average oil price in August is higher than in July, it is still lower compared to March, April, and May. Since there were no rate hikes in those three months, the chance of a hike in September is low, unless the war intensifies and there is no expectation of a ceasefire, which would be a different matter.
As for a rate cut, the probability is still low at present. But if Trump can resolve the Hormuz issue before September, and inflation continues to decline in August, and the Hormuz problem is solved once and for all, then the probability of a rate cut by the end of the year is not zero. At least it would be much higher than the chance of a rate hike.

BTC/ETH stubbornly hold their ranges, bullish signals turn into "dead air" again
Tonight, the US PPI data reinforced the "inflation peak" narrative, and the bond market no longer fully prices in Fed rate hikes this year — this should be a nuclear-level positive for risk assets. But BTC and ETH are still "idling" in the all-too-familiar ranges: BTC stuck between 63,200-64,500, ETH stubbornly defending 1,850-1,940. The bullish signals fail again; the market is telling everyone with sideways trading — it's not a lack of news, it's a lack of money.
Core market analysis
· How strong is the data? July PPI year-over-year at 4.7% (below the expected 4.9%), combined with CPI slowing for the second consecutive month, oil prices dropping over 3% in one day, and 30-year US Treasury yields plunging 8 basis points. Traders clearly reduce rate hike bets — this is a "quasi-signal" for liquidity easing.
· Why is the market unmoved? Because "inflation peak" is an old script. The real turning point requires the Fed to explicitly announce a "rate cut timetable." Before the September rate decision, all positive data will be selectively hoarded, not priced in early.
· Technical confirmation: BTC 4-hour BOLL narrows to 63,405-63,957 (amplitude only $500), MACD tangled near zero line; ETH BOLL also tightens to 1,877-1,898, RSI hovering around the neutral 50 — volatility compressed to the extreme, a typical prelude to a directional choice.
⚠️ Key levels
For BTC, 63,200 is the last line of defense for bulls, 64,500 is the "ceiling" heavily guarded by bears. Failure to reclaim means weakness; breaking below means watching 61,000. ETH's 1,850 is the whale cost lifeline, 1,940 is a dense area of trapped positions. Failure to break means consolidation; failure to hold opens downside space.
💡 Summary in one sentence:
Inflation peak is the "fuel," but this market vehicle is out of gas — what's missing is not bullish news, but big players willing to put money in at this level.
The longer the sideways, the more blurred the direction. Until a volume breakout above 64,500 (ETH 1,940) or a volume breakdown below 63,200 (ETH 1,850), all fluctuations are just noise.
The heavy rain has passed, now it's lighter — not necessarily clearing skies, but possibly halftime. Watch more, act less, let the market make the first move.
Trading reference
For BTC, only consider right-side follow-up after a volume breakout above 64,500; beware accelerated decline if volume breaks below 63,200. For ETH, watch the validity of the 1,940 breakout and the strength of 1,850 defense. Whichever side gives a clear direction first will be the main battlefield for the next phase.
$BTC $ETH #CPI与PPI同步降温,加息分歧扩大 Staking ETFs launch, ETH and SOL competition shifts tracks
Bitwise and 21Shares recently added staking designs to their Solana and Ethereum ETF filings. Bitwise's Solana Staking ETF fee is set at 0.20%, with phased fee waivers, and TETH has also adopted a staking structure. Decrypt's summary is straightforward: ETH and SOL are simultaneously incorporated into the institutional narrative of "ETF + staking yield." This is not an ordinary product iteration but a shift in the valuation logic of public chain assets.
First, let's look at the capital's attitude. Since August, ETH spot ETFs have seen net inflows of about $235 million, while SOL ETFs have net inflows of about $7.9 million. The nearly 30-fold difference in scale is a conclusion in itself: institutions buying ETH is a portfolio allocation behavior, while buying $SOL is a bet. More interestingly, SOL's small flow has not been drowned out by ETH's capital flood; the market is instead pricing SOL's staking narrative separately. This shows institutions are not simply "buying big and ignoring small," but are labeling the two chains differently.
$ETH is labeled as a "mature yield-generating asset." Its chips are asset scale, liquidity depth, DeFi infrastructure, and institutional recognition. Once staking yields are legitimized through ETFs, ETH transforms from "digital oil" into a cash-flow-generating income asset, shifting its valuation anchor from narrative to yield—this is the first step toward asset securitization. SOL is labeled as a "high Beta yield public chain": high performance, low fees, large growth elasticity, with typically higher nominal staking yields, more volatile and uncertain but with stronger upside elasticity. For institutions, ETH is a core holding for long-term allocation, while SOL is an aggressive position to enhance returns.
The essence of competition has changed. Previously, it was about whose chain is faster or whose ecosystem is bigger; now it's about who can become an asset that institutions are willing to hold long-term and that can continuously generate on-chain yields. If staking ETFs truly become mainstream, public chain valuation models will shift from "network value narratives" to "discounted cash flow"—staking rate, actual yield, fees will replace TVL and daily active users as the new pricing language. Bitwise lowering fees to 0.20% with waivers indicates issuers anticipate a fee war, and the winners of fee wars are always the buyers.
The core contradiction lies here: staking yield is a relatively fixed pie; ETFs serve this pie to institutions, inevitably diluting the share of native on-chain stakers. ETH's staking rate is already high, leaving limited room to lower yields; SOL's nominal yield is high but inflation dilution is harsher. When yield becomes the selling point, the asset whose real yield withstands discounting is the true income asset in the eyes of institutions. Narratives can be told together, but the accounts must be calculated separately. $ASTR (1H) – Support Probe / Relief Target

#CPIPPIEaseFedSplit #AIInfraEarningsWatch #KoreaChipsLeadRebound CPI and PPI are both cooling down, but the Fed's divergence is even more worth noting.
July's CPI year-on-year dropped to 3.4%, core CPI 2.5%; today's PPI year-on-year further fell from 5.5% to 4.7%. Inflation pressures on both the production and consumption sides are easing.
Logically, this should be a more comfortable environment for risk assets.
But now the market faces a problem:
Inflation is falling, yet the Fed has not fully turned dovish.
Hammack still believes interest rates may need to continue rising, while Barkin thinks current rates may already be sufficient to restrain inflation, so whether to raise rates remains an open question.
Therefore, whether there will be a cut in September or even further hikes is still a clear point of contention.
For BTC, I actually think this is a somewhat positive but not a FOMO environment.
If upcoming employment and inflation data continue to weaken, the dollar and U.S. Treasury yields further decline, and rate cut expectations reheat, BTC and ETH will be more comfortable.
But if Fed officials keep sending hawkish signals, and the market re-prices "higher rates," the crypto market is still prone to rapid pullbacks.
My judgment: short-term oscillation with a bullish bias, medium-term still depends on macro liquidity.
What matters most now is no longer "whether CPI/PPI have cooled," but:
Whether the cooling inflation can ultimately bring about a real shift from the Fed.
This is the key to whether BTC can open new space going forward.
#CPI与PPI同步降温,加息分歧扩大 Fundamentals are positive, but the stock price is actually becoming more dangerous. Why are fundamentals considered a good thing? SanDisk's recently released financial report is indeed very strong: Q4 revenue was $8.97 billion, up 51% quarter-on-quarter; Fiscal year 2026 revenue will reach $20.25 billion, +175% year-over-year, with data center business growing 437% year-over-year. The company also added $14 billion in buyback authorizations. Today's Investor Day further reinforced market expectations for AI storage demand. The latest disclosures show that the company has signed agreements with customers covering approximately 50% of demand in 2027 and about two-thirds of its 2028 bit demand, and expects to maintain double-digit revenue growth in the medium term. So, from an industry perspective: AI demand → data center expansion → increased NAND demand → storage prices rise → SanDisk profits release — this logic has not yet been broken. But why do I instead remind you to "be more careful the more prices rise"? Because SNDK is no longer just a "performance stock." As of August 12, the stock price had risen about 450% year-to-date, but was still about 43% below its previous high, indicating it was a highly volatile high-β stock. The market is no longer trading: How much did SanDisk make this year? The question is: can it maintain such ultra-high profit margins in 2027 and 2028? This is the biggest disagreement. Although previous financial reports hit record highs, the market actually declined because investors worried that the current ultra-high gross margins and rising storage prices are unsustainable.Looking for a compliant solution to launch perpetual contracts in the US market. The platform's policy team has already connected with US regulatory agencies, aiming to enable local licensed financial institutions to launch perpetual contract products based on the Hyperliquid system. Currently, the platform frontend still restricts access for US users.
This development is a positive catalyst for HYPE, with a higher priority than ordinary business expansion.
First, it opens the US market. The US is one of the largest derivatives markets globally. If a compliant channel is established, the platform's trading volume, user base, and institutional capital pool will see significant growth.
Second, it achieves an identity upgrade. Due to regulatory constraints, US users previously could not access the platform; now, by proactively engaging with regulators, its development strategy is shifting from an offshore DeFi trading platform to a compliant derivatives infrastructure serving the global market, including the US.
Third, it reshapes the industry competition landscape. Hyperliquid comes with a complete on-chain order book and perpetual contract system. Once US compliant institutions successfully connect, its on-chain liquidity and product innovation capabilities may challenge traditional trading platforms.
Fourth, it redefines token valuation logic. If the US market is successfully launched, capital may reprice HYPE, positioning it not just as a platform trading token but as a core underlying asset in the on-chain derivatives sector.

However, inflation has not fully stabilized, and the labor market remains resilient, causing a severe split in the Federal Reserve's internal policy judgments: hawks insist on fighting inflation, while doves lean towards pausing tightening. Market expectations for rate hikes are swinging wildly, significantly increasing uncertainty for the September FOMC meeting. 1. Core Data: Inflation Weakens Both Upstream and Downstream, Overall Pressure Eases On the evening of August 12 Beijing time, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics released key July inflation data, showing a comprehensive cooling trend. Consumer-side CPI: July CPI rose 3.4% year-over-year, slightly down from 3.5% in June; core CPI rose 2.5% year-over-year, with both month-over-month and year-over-year figures slightly weaker, aligning with market expectations for cooling and rapidly reducing short-term inflation rebound risks. Producer-side PPI: Industrial producer price growth also declined, with weakening momentum in production material price increases. Upstream cost transmission pressure to downstream eased, confirming a moderate weakening in real economic demand, with CPI and PPI forming a synchronous downward resonance. Data structure shows: commodity inflation continues to cool, supply chain pressures ease, but housing and service prices remain relatively rigid, becoming the main drag on inflation decline and the core reason for this "decline but not thorough" inflation. 2. Policy Split: Rate Hike Disagreement Widens, Federal Reserve Internal Views Diverge This round of inflation decline has not formed a unified monetary policy consensus; instead, it has further amplified the hawk-dove divide within the Federal Reserve. Hawkish view (leaning towards tightening) SanDisk $SNDK surged crazily by more than ten points like a madman, and just now my isolated margin position also got liquidated. Watching Green Mao's live stream, I didn't even have time to add margin before it got liquidated. After checking, it was mainly due to information released by their own investors: the management directly provided a long-term model for FY28-30, with mid-to-high double-digit revenue growth, gross margin stable around 80%, operating margin at 75%, and emphasized that NBM long-term contracts have already locked in half of FY27 and two-thirds of FY28 bits, plus excess cash fully returned to shareholders. Coupled with the ninth-generation 2Tb QLC new technology jointly promoted with Kioxia the day before, the market retold the story of "turning a cyclical stock into a growth stock," and the storage sector collectively followed the trend.
A-share storage stocks actually fell today, indicating that this wave is more about the US stock market pricing SanDisk's own story rather than a comprehensive industry turnaround. Short sellers can take a breather first; liquidation is painful, but this kind of single-day spike driven by guidance and narrative still depends on whether actual delivery can keep up later. Everyone understands the temperament of cyclical stocks. $DOS is showing an interesting setup right now.
Bullish accounts clearly outnumber bearish ones, suggesting that retail sentiment remains heavily tilted toward the long side.
At the same time, the funding rate is still negative, pointing to significant short positioning and congestion in the futures market.
Open interest also remains elevated even after the recent crash, which suggests that a substantial amount of leveraged exposure may still be sitting in the market. Bulls haven’t fully capitulated yet.
From a price-action perspective, however, the trend is still clearly downward. That makes blindly trying to catch the bottom particularly risky.
Personally, I’m tempted to look for a short here.
But there’s an obvious problem:
After such a sharp drop, many traders are already too afraid to short.
And that’s exactly what makes the setup interesting.
When everyone is afraid to chase the downside, the market may still have room to surprise.
For now, I’d rather wait for a clear setup and confirmation instead of forcing a trade just because the chart looks weak.

On June 12, 2026, SpaceX debuted with the largest IPO ever, priced at $135 per share, soaring to a high of $176 on the first day, with a market cap briefly surpassing $2 trillion. Currently, the stock price fluctuates between $140 and $146, with a 52-week high of $225.64 and a low of $104.83. The market cap remains close to $1.9 trillion.
Many ask: Is this a new era in human spaceflight history, or just another hype-driven story stock?
### Why is SpaceX so expensive?
The core logic boils down to three points:
1. **Starlink is already a cash cow**
Starlink subscriptions have exceeded 12 million, with Q2 revenue accounting for over half, making it the only truly profitable business currently. Enterprise and government customers are growing especially fast (over 100% year-over-year), transitioning from "consumer broadband" to "global connectivity infrastructure."
2. **Starship is the real game-changer**
Once the reusable heavy rocket matures, launch costs will plummet dramatically. Mars, the Moon, orbital data centers, space solar power... all grand narratives depend on Starship's success.
3. **AI as a new growth engine**
Musk clearly positions AI (Grok + computing infrastructure) as a future core. Recently, market rumors about large acquisitions of AI companies have directly fueled short-term stock price surges.
Analysts' average target prices generally range from $220 to $235, with aggressive forecasts reaching $600 or even $800. The reasoning is straightforward: if Starlink continues to expand + Starship mass production + AI implementation, the current valuation is just the starting point.
### Recent trend: typical high volatility
After the IPO, the stock surged, then pulled back due to lock-up expirations, massive capital expenditures, and initial earnings volatility. It recently rebounded on AI-related news.
The characteristic of this stock is: **the fundamental story is compelling, but short-term sentiment and capital flows will greatly amplify volatility.**
### My view: strong long-term narrative, but short-term risk must be respected
**I am optimistic in the mid to long term.**
SpaceX is almost the only company currently combining "reusable rockets + large-scale satellite constellations + AI ambitions." Starlink has proven profitable, and once Starship succeeds, the entire space cost structure will be rewritten. This is not an ordinary tech stock but a bet on the infrastructure for "multi-planet civilization" and the "space economy."
But the risks are glaring:
- The valuation already prices in many optimistic expectations, leaving little margin for error.
- Capital expenditures are huge; both AI and Starship are in cash-burning stages.
- Lock-up expirations, competition (new players in rockets and satellite broadband), regulation, and geopolitical risks cannot be ignored.
- Musk's personal factors heavily influence the stock price.
**Investment advice (personal opinion):**
- For those heavily invested, it is recommended to lock in some profits in batches and manage positions to counter high volatility.
- For those looking to enter, it's best to wait for clear technical stabilization or major catalysts (key successful Starship flights, Starlink user data exceeding expectations, etc.) and build positions gradually.
- Absolutely do not chase with leverage. This stock can double in the short term but also halve in a few months.
SpaceX is no longer a "private company myth" but one of the most expensive and attractive growth stories in the public market.
It represents humanity's ambition to expand into space but also reminds us: **no matter how great the vision, it ultimately depends on cash flow and execution to be realized.**
What do you think about SPCX? Is it a long-term belief, or will you wait and see before acting? $SPCX At the same score of 26, BTC and ETH are reading two completely different books.
On the afternoon of August 13, the Crypto Fear & Greed Index hovered at 26, in the fear zone. BTC is currently priced around $63,721, basically flat over 24 hours, down less than 2% for the week; ETH is at $1,891, also moving sideways with low volume. The index is the same, prices are similarly sluggish, but the tactical implications are completely different.
First, look at $BTC. The fear zone for Bitcoin now is more like a signal of turnover between institutions and retail investors. The capital flow is actually strong: in the first week of August, spot ETF net inflows exceeded $750 million, the strongest in five months, with IBIT taking the lion’s share. On-chain tracking shows that no BTC ETF sold coins in early August. Although there were single-day outflows of about $145 million and $61 million on Monday and Wednesday this week, looking at the longer term, ETF funds still absorb several times the amount of BTC newly mined daily. On the retail side? The long-to-short ratio is 65% long, clustered together, but sentiment indicators remain fearful—this is a typical "retail skepticism, institutional accumulation" structure. Historically, every time this combination appears, it marks a smart money accumulation window in hindsight. BTC’s fundamentals do not rely on on-chain activity; its story is scarcity and institutional allocation. Fear kills sentiment, not the narrative.
$ETH is a completely different story. Ethereum’s holder structure includes a much higher proportion of DeFi protocols, staking pools, and L2 ecosystems than BTC. Fear sentiment directly transmits to the chain: panic → funds withdraw from pools → TVL drops → Gas fees shrink → staking yields decline → more unstaking. This is a self-reinforcing negative feedback loop where sentiment itself worsens fundamentals. In July, ETH was still the darling of ETF funds, with monthly net inflows of $365 million, more than twice BTC’s, but entering August, single-day inflows shrank to the $50 million level, with momentum clearly fading. In other words, at the same score of 26, fear on the BTC side is a "buy when others fear" script, while on the ETH side, fear may become a real wound to fundamentals.
Next, watch two signals. If the fear index continues to drop below 20 into extreme fear, BTC’s contrarian buy point is very likely to be triggered—as long as weekly ETF net inflows don’t drop to zero, this logic holds. For ETH to break out, it won’t rely on an index rebound but on on-chain data stopping the bleeding: TVL stabilizing, Gas fees recovering, and net staking inflows turning positive—at least one of these must be seen, otherwise the ETH/BTC ratio will continue to be suppressed.
The core contradiction in one sentence: BTC’s pricing power has already moved to Wall Street’s ETF custody accounts, fear cannot hurt its roots; ETH’s pricing power is still tied to the lifeblood of the on-chain ecosystem, and fear itself will drain that lifeblood. The same sentiment indicator is a signal for one, a cause of illness for the other.SanDisk's investor day today, I feel like they finally revealed a bit of their trump card.
Previously, everyone's biggest concern was one question:
Is this AI storage wave just a flash in the pan?
The answer from management today was firmer than I expected.
SanDisk stated that by FY2027, they already have 8 customer agreements covering about half of the bit demand; by FY2028, the coverage further increases to about two-thirds.
This means that at least in the short term, the demand for storage from AI data centers is not just a sudden hype, but already has a relatively clear order base. (Stock Titan)
But I still dare not be blindly bullish.
Because SNDK has already risen too exaggeratedly this year, the market is not really buying "whether SanDisk can make money this year."
Instead, it's betting on:
Whether it can continue to be this profitable in the coming years.
So my current attitude towards SanDisk is simple:
I trust the fundamentals, but I fear the valuation.
The AI storage story is real, but the stock price has already priced in a lot of good news in advance.
If the performance continues to exceed expectations, I wouldn't be surprised if it keeps going crazy.
But if growth slows down a bit, the valuation might harshly teach those who chased the highs a lesson.
What do you think? Is SNDK the true leader in AI storage now, or has it already risen to a level where defense should start?
#SanDisk #SNDK #AI #StorageChips #USStocks OpenAI has started researching smart contract security, and the AI narrative around ETH might be more genuine than those AI tokens.
When it comes to AI and cryptocurrency, the market usually first thinks of AI Agent tokens, decentralized computing power, or data trading.
But the first large-scale practical value AI brings to the crypto space may not be issuing more tokens, but reducing the risk of smart contract attacks.
OpenAI and Paradigm have launched EVMbench to evaluate AI Agents' ability to discover, fix, and exploit high-risk smart contract vulnerabilities. This benchmark includes 117 vulnerability scenarios from 40 audits, with the protected crypto assets in these contracts exceeding hundreds of billions of dollars.
This development might mean more to $ETH than just an ordinary partnership announcement.
The advantage of the Ethereum ecosystem is having the most assets and applications, but the cost is high code complexity, where a single vulnerability can cause huge losses. Previously, security audits relied on expensive and scarce human experts. If AI can continuously scan code, simulate attacks, and detect issues before deployment, both development costs and security barriers could decrease.
Here, AI is not creating a new story for ETH but solving the real bottleneck limiting on-chain financial expansion.
The same logic applies to $SOL. High-frequency trading, complex protocols, and rapid iteration increase code risks, and AI auditing tools can help developers find problems faster. The difference is that the EVM ecosystem has a larger historical codebase and vulnerability samples, so AI training and evaluation might first gain a data advantage within the Ethereum system.
However, AI security also has a dangerous side.
Agents capable of finding vulnerabilities might also exploit them more efficiently. If attackers have AI scanning unrepaired contracts around the clock, on-chain hackers could upgrade from manually searching targets to automated, bulk attacks.
This will create a new arms race: defenders use AI audits, attackers use AI to mine vulnerabilities, and protocols need to continuously shorten the time from problem discovery to fix completion.
Therefore, AI entering the smart contract security field does not mean risks automatically disappear. It is more likely that security capabilities themselves become on-chain competitive advantages.
In the future, judging whether a DeFi protocol is reliable may not only depend on traditional audit reports but also on whether it continuously runs AI monitoring, has automatic pause mechanisms, and can quickly isolate funds after vulnerabilities appear.
Tokens with AI in their names may not necessarily have AI demand; instead, networks like ETH and SOL, which already carry large amounts of assets, might be the first to pay for AI security tools.
The first major customers AI creates for blockchain might not be ordinary users but protocols that fear losing hundreds of millions of dollars from a single vulnerability.
The market has been searching for "AI-native tokens" but might be overlooking a more direct opportunity: AI first makes existing on-chain assets safer, cheaper, and easier for institutions to adopt. The US July PPI month-over-month rate of 0% and core month-over-month rate of 0.2% confirm a slowdown in inflationary pressure on the production side. The current core issue is whether the Federal Reserve's September rate decision will tighten during the pre-election window or maintain the status quo as inflation cools.
The market driving factors rank as follows: signals of cooling inflation on the production side > pre-election policy window game theory > subsequent evolution of PCE mapping items. The production-side data, following last night's moderate CPI, directly lowered market pricing for an immediate rate hike.
The 0% PPI month-over-month and 0.2% core month-over-month directly weaken the upward expectations for terminal interest rates, suppressing the rebound strength of the US dollar index, freeing up liquidity for sensitive assets like US stocks and gold to replenish, and crypto assets simultaneously gain an environment conducive to valuation repair.
The trigger condition for the bullish scenario is the continued weakening of subsequent PCE mapping items, confirming the complete exclusion of the necessity for a September rate hike. At this time, US Treasury yields and the US dollar index will further decline, pushing US tech stocks and gold to break through upper resistance, and crypto assets will receive buying support as cross-market risk appetite rises.
The invalidation signal for this bullish scenario is an unexpected rebound in specific segmented data within subsequent PCE mapping items, prompting the market to re-bet on the Federal Reserve using the September pre-election window to complete a rate hike. At that time, US Treasury yields will rise, rapidly tightening market liquidity.
The trigger condition for the bearish scenario is the market's excessive focus on September as the only operable pre-election window due to political and feasibility logic, causing rate hike expectations to rise again. This will directly support a rebound in the US dollar index, pressure gold and US stocks to pull back, and crypto assets will face liquidity squeeze as funds flow back to risk-free assets.
The invalidation signal for this bearish scenario is the next month's CPI data declining again, completely closing the Federal Reserve's operational space for a pre-election rate hike in September, and cross-market valuation suppression will be lifted accordingly.
In the next 7 days, close attention should be paid to the secondary recalculation data of PCE mapping segmented items and the forward-looking changes of the next CPI.
#CLARITY延期,SEC拟推进监管规则补位 #AI基建融资升温,英伟达英特尔路径分化 #Strategy再卖1690枚BTC,企业财库出现分化Grvt could make Ondo almost invisible.
The headline everyone will focus on is:
“$100M flowing into tokenized Treasuries.”
But the more interesting story is what the user never sees.
Grvt is reportedly holding USDY on its own balance sheet and incorporating the yield directly into a single base rate.
That means users can potentially earn a Treasury-like return without ever directly interacting with the token, the underlying note, or even thinking about Ondo.
And that may be the real direction of RWAs.
Not:
“Buy and hold this tokenized asset.”
But:
“The yield is already built into the product.”
Here are the numbers worth watching:
💰 $100M target position over 12 months
📊 Roughly 4.6% of the existing USDY supply
📈 Around 3.5% APY, or approximately $3.5M annually if fully deployed
That 4.6% figure is particularly interesting.
One platform is potentially looking to account for nearly 5% of a roughly $2.1B market.
That highlights just how concentrated onchain fixed income remains — and how much room there is for the sector to mature into real financial infrastructure.
But there’s another side to this.
Abstraction makes the experience easier, but it doesn’t eliminate the underlying risk.
The user may simply see one clean rate on the front end, while behind the scenes there can be multiple layers:
Grvt → Ondo → bank deposits / ETF exposure → underlying assets.
The interface becomes simpler.
The risk stack doesn’t necessarily become simpler.
That’s why I think the biggest winners of this cycle won’t necessarily be the platforms offering the highest headline yield.
They’ll be the ones capable of making the financial plumbing invisible without making the risks invisible.
Tokenized Treasuries are gradually moving beyond being a standalone product.
They’re becoming a feature embedded into financial applications.
And most users may only realize how significant that shift is after it has already happened.
Who else is watching this trend?

#CPIPPIEaseFedSplit #AIInfraEarningsWatch **Micron (MU): The True King of the AI Storage Supercycle, or the Next Giant to Be Valued Down?**
If SanDisk is the most volatile "pure flash player" this year, then Micron (MU) is the **absolute main force** on the entire storage battlefield.
From a low point of just over $100 last year, it surged to a high of $1255, with its market cap once breaking into the trillion-dollar club. Now it has pulled back to the $900-$960 range, still several times higher than a year ago. Many are hesitating: after this correction, is it still worth adding more?
### Why is Micron so strong?
The answer is just three letters: **HBM**.
AI servers have an almost "bottomless" demand for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM). Nvidia, AMD, Google, Amazon... almost all major players are competing for supply. Micron's HBM capacity is already **fully sold out through the end of 2026**, with some long-term contracts locked in until 2030, and these are fixed-price plus take-or-pay agreements, sending cash flow and profit margins soaring.
The latest earnings report was explosive: revenue, gross margin, and EPS all beat expectations, with management clearly stating "demand is still accelerating, supply simply can't keep up." DRAM and HBM prices continue to rise, and as one of the few U.S. manufacturers capable of mass-producing advanced HBM, Micron's position is becoming increasingly solid.
Analysts' price targets have collectively surged:
- The average target price is now $1500-$1600
- The most aggressive targets reach $2000 or even $2200
- Major banks like UBS and Cantor maintain strong buy ratings, with a nearly unanimous reason — AI memory shortages will last at least until 2027
In short: Micron is not just selling chips now; it’s selling the "oil of the AI era."
### Recent trend: high-level oscillation, mixed sentiment
From the peak of $1255 down to the $900s is a significant drop. The market worries about two things:
1. Valuation is no longer cheap; any guidance below expectations could trigger profit-taking.
2. Competition from SK Hynix and Samsung on next-gen HBM is intensifying; can Micron maintain its market share?
But after every big drop, as soon as new long-term contract news or HBM demand data emerges, capital quickly flows back. Technically, there is strong support near $900, with key resistance levels at $1000 and $1100.
### My view: still optimistic medium to long term, but the pace will change
**Micron’s fundamentals are more solid than SanDisk’s.**
It’s not just a NAND player; it’s driven by both HBM and DRAM, with deeper customer ties, broader long-term contract coverage, and a relatively controllable expansion pace. AI’s demand for high bandwidth memory is structural, not a one- or two-year pulse.
But risks are real as well:
- Storage is a highly cyclical industry; once large-scale expansion lands in 2027-2028, prices could fall sharply.
- The current P/E ratio isn’t extreme but already prices in a lot of optimism.
- Macro volatility, US-China tech tensions, and customer inventory adjustments could all cause sharp pullbacks.
**Trading advice (personal opinion):**
- For those heavily invested, consider taking profits in batches to lock in gains, and protect remaining positions with strict stop losses.
- For those not yet invested, wait for clear stabilization signals (like a volume breakout above key resistance), build positions gradually, and avoid going all in at once.
- Position sizing is always paramount. High-beta stocks like Micron can double your money in a year but also drop 40% in a few months.
Micron has proven itself as one of the core beneficiaries of the AI storage supercycle.
But it also reminds us: no matter how good the story, it will go through a phase of "fully priced expectations."
The current position is neither a paradise for chasing highs nor a hell for complete exit—
it’s a long-term game requiring patience and discipline.
What’s your take on Micron? Still holding on? $MU $SNDK PPI monthly rate 0%, core monthly rate 0.2%. The data itself isn't fluctuating, but when viewed together, it's interesting. Last night's CPI was moderate, tonight's PPI was moderate. Both sides confirm inflation hasn't continued to rise. For the market, this is a clear signal: the urgency for the Fed to raise rates in September is decreasing. The data itself is fine, but the problem lies in timing. September may be the only rate hike window before the election. Once this happens, there won't be this store. The data doesn't support rate hikes, but the political window waits for no one. The Fed isn't facing economic issues right now It's a political choice. For BTC, short-term liquidity expectations are improving and the market is supported. But don't treat this PPI as a prelude to a rate cut. There's a huge gap between not raising rates and cutting rates. It's far from the time to discuss rate cuts. The data is great, but don't celebrate too soon. Not raising rates doesn't mean cutting rates. This difference must be distinguished. $BTC $ETH #CPI与PPI同步降温, rate hike divergence widens. #财报观察员: AI infrastructure earnings report debuts in succession #马斯克称AI将占SpaceX价值99%. At some point, $BTC has to start behaving differently across cycles.
We can’t assume Bitcoin will continue falling below its previous ATH by the same magnitude forever. With diminishing cycle returns, repeating increasingly deep retracements would eventually become structurally unsustainable.
If every cycle produced the same deep drawdown pattern, $BTC would gradually lose its volatility and start behaving more like a stable asset.
Eventually, the retracements should become shallower.
This cycle has already seen $BTC move below its previous ATH zone, similar to what happened in 2022. Back then, once BTC broke beneath that level, it didn’t take long for the market to establish its cycle bottom.
So why assume the current cycle must be dramatically different and extend substantially deeper?
From a long-term structural perspective, buying BTC during this type of retracement is comparable to accumulating around $20K in the previous cycle — not because the prices are equivalent, but because the market is once again offering exposure during a major structural pullback.
The difference is that Bitcoin’s baseline has moved significantly higher as the asset has matured.
Cycles evolve. Drawdowns evolve. And BTC may eventually reach a point where previous-ATH breakdowns become the exception rather than the rule.
$BTC #CPIPPIEaseFedSplit #AIInfraEarningsWatch **SanDisk (SNDK): From "Spin-off Underdog" to AI Storage King, Is the Next Stop Heaven or a Cliff?**
In February 2025, SanDisk spun off from Western Digital and went public independently under the ticker SNDK. At that time, most people thought it was just another "mature business spin-off" with a mediocre valuation.
Who would have thought that in less than a year and a half, it would take off directly—year-to-date gains easily exceeding 400%, reaching a high of $2354, with market cap briefly surpassing $200 billion. Now it has pulled back to the $1300-$1400 range, and many are asking: **Is this correction a chance to get in, or a signal that the feast is over?**
### Why is SanDisk going crazy?
The core reason is one word: **AI storage super cycle**.
AI training and inference have caused explosive demand for NAND flash and SSDs, while expansion cycles take 2-3 years. With severe supply-demand imbalance, storage prices continue to rise, and SanDisk, as a pure flash player, directly reaps the biggest dividends. Long-term agreements (LTA) keep landing, cash flow and profit margins improve significantly, and management has launched buybacks worth tens of billions, showing full confidence.
Analysts are also collectively bullish:
- Average target prices mostly range between $1800-$2100
- Aggressive ones (like Bernstein) shout $3000 directly
- Big banks like BofA and Goldman Sachs have repeatedly raised targets, with a nearly unanimous reason—the shortage will last at least until 2027 or even longer
In short: SanDisk is currently the purest "AI shovel stock" out there.
### Recent trend: sharp volatility after a surge
From the high of $2354, it has fallen to around $1300, a significant drop, and market sentiment has shifted from frenzy to divergence.
Although earnings reports are impressive, occasional guidance below expectations triggers profit-taking. Storage stocks are always volatile, and SanDisk, as one of this year's strongest momentum stocks, is no exception.
Technically, there is some support near $1300, but strong resistance remains at $1600 and $1800. Short-term bulls and bears are fiercely battling, with frequent capital inflows and outflows.
### My view: optimistic but with a safety rope
**I remain positive in the medium to long term.**
AI's demand for storage is not a one- or two-year story but a structural change. As long as the shortage pattern holds, SanDisk's profitability and valuation have support. The focus after spin-off, locked-in long-term agreements, and buyback support are all pluses.
But risks are real:
1. Storage is a highly cyclical industry; once expansion hits and prices peak, valuation cuts can be brutal.
2. Current valuation is not cheap; any macro volatility or guidance miss could cause another sharp pullback.
3. The US semiconductor sector is increasingly volatile, and SanDisk, as a "high beta player," will amplify market sentiment.
**Trading advice (personal opinion only):**
- If heavily invested, consider partial profit-taking to lock in gains, and protect remaining positions with trailing stops.
- If looking to enter, wait for clear stabilization signals, build positions gradually, and avoid chasing highs.
- Position size must be controlled; this kind of stock can double quickly but also halve just as fast.
SanDisk has proven it is not an ordinary spin-off but a true core beneficiary of the AI era.
But remember: no matter how good the story, it cannot withstand unlimited leverage.
The current position is neither the gateway to heaven nor to hell—it is a game requiring calm and discipline.
