ETH currently faces a rather awkward issue: the on-chain activity is getting busier, yet more and more people like to ask—what exactly does this activity have to do with $ETH?
In recent years, the Ethereum ecosystem hasn't actually stopped. Stablecoins, DeFi, RWA, Layer2—many businesses that truly lock in large capital still can't avoid Ethereum. Especially as traditional finance starts moving on-chain, the story ETH can most easily tell has gradually shifted from "world computer" to financial settlement layer. It even sounds more solid than the last bull market, but the problem lies precisely here: a growing ecosystem doesn't necessarily mean ETH captures value at the same pace.
Layer2 is the most typical example.
Previously, users traded directly on the Ethereum mainnet, and gas fees were painfully high, but every active transaction was easily understood as ETH demand. Now, L2s like Base and Arbitrum move a large volume of transactions off-chain, greatly improving user experience—operations can be completed for just a few cents or even less. But from the perspective of token holders, another problem immediately arises: if in the future the vast majority of ordinary users never directly use the Ethereum mainnet, what will ETH rely on to continuously gain higher value?
This is also where ETH and SOL differ significantly.
SOL’s logic is very straightforward. When Meme tokens get popular, stablecoins grow, and DEX trading volume rises, everything basically happens on the same layer, making it easy for users to connect "Solana ecosystem getting stronger" with "SOL becoming more valuable." Ethereum, however, increasingly resembles a financial infrastructure hidden in the background—the front end might be Base, the assets might be USDC, and users might not even know where their transactions are ultimately settled.
Of course, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Visa processes so many payments daily, yet no one studies its underlying clearing system before swiping a card. The real question is: if Ethereum ultimately becomes that unnoticed but universally relied-upon foundation, can ETH continuously charge for this dependency?
If the answer is yes, then the market’s daily debate over whether ETH can outperform $SOL might actually be underestimating the issue. The more assets stablecoins, RWA, and L2s lock in, the harder it is to replace Ethereum’s value as the underlying security and settlement network. But if the ecosystem keeps growing while fees and value largely remain with L2s, applications, and stablecoin issuers, ETH will face a troublesome state—the network wins, but the token doesn’t win as much.
So now when I look at $ETH, I’m less interested in hearing the phrase "largest ecosystem."
I want to know, for every additional $10 billion in stablecoins, every additional $10 billion in RWA, every new batch of L2 users, how much money actually flows back to ETH.
These are two completely different valuation logics.
In the last cycle, everyone was betting on whether anyone would use Ethereum; now that question basically has an answer.
The next cycle $ETH really needs to prove is: as more people use the Ethereum system, why is it necessary to hold ETH.
Ecosystem prosperity is only the first step.
Whether that prosperity can be converted into token value is the question ETH must answer now.
#ETH #Ethereum #SOL #USDC #RWA #Layer2 #DeFi #Crypto #以太坊 #欧易星球 Elon Musk made a sci-fi level prediction: around 2029, due to insufficient ground power supply and difficulties in ground facility approvals, "orbital computing"—moving AI computing power to space—might be the only way to massively scale AI. Don't just dismiss it as a joke. Behind this statement lies a growing trend over the past two years: the ceiling for computing power is no longer chips, but electricity. Whoever can solve energy and heat dissipation issues will be the one qualified to talk about the next wave of AI expansion. In the secondary market, this is also why valuations for power, nuclear energy, and energy storage—these "shovel sellers" on the sidelines—have been steadily rising. The narrative is changing, but the underlying scarcity remains the same—those who understand know. We’re not in a bear market.
We’re not in a bull market.
We’re in the boredom market.
$BTC and $ETH have had news for weeks:
ETF inflows, institutions, supply cuts.
Price? Still ranging.
Because news without confidence is just noise.
The market is waiting for 2 things:
1. The Fed to pick a lane
2. Real capital to show up and stay
Until then we get this:
- US Tech rips on AI capex: $NVDA $META $GOOGL
- CN Tech bleeds on no growth: JD -10%, Meituan -6%
- Crypto chops while everyone stares at charts
US Tech is selling "the future"
CN Tech is selling "dividends"
Guess which one gets the premium?
In crypto, the pain is also getting smaller each cycle.
ETH: 95% → 82% → 69%
The market is maturing. Volatility is dying.
But maturing ≠ exciting.
Right now this is a game for patient people.
Stop watching candles. Start watching who keeps buying after the hype fades.
That’s your signal.

#SKHynixNANDExpansionCrypto positive news -1, the SEC's "Cryptocurrency Regulation" administrative bill meeting originally scheduled for today, August 14, has been canceled
The reason for cancellation is "unforeseen scheduling conflicts," and I believe this is due to some political pressure on the SEC leading to the meeting's cancellation
As mentioned earlier, before the "Clarity Act" is implemented, the regulatory division of responsibilities between the SEC and CFTC is a major issue
Agin is indeed actively promoting the crypto revolution, but the difficulty is indeed very high.
So far, the SEC website only marks the meeting as canceled and has not specified the next meeting time, what a pity! $BTC $LAB faces a dual challenge in the short term from unlocking sell pressure and shrinking derivatives liquidity, with chip turnover in a fragile balance. Approximately 282 million tokens will unlock on August 14, causing the market to briefly break below the 0.1052 dense area lower boundary and trigger long stop-loss liquidations. If the volume expands and the low point is lost, and spot buying cannot absorb the increased circulation, fragile liquidity will trigger deeper leveraged liquidation cascades. If the spot market absorbs the sell pressure and quickly recovers above 0.1052, short covering will drive a price recovery, invalidating the breakdown logic. Going forward, monitor the recovery speed of spot order depth above 0.1052 and how well it matches the increased circulation.
#OpenAI与Anthropic估值竞赛升温 #财报观察员:AI基建财报接力登场Is this the bottom? Or just another pause? 🧐
History says drawdowns shrink each cycle:
Cycle 2 ETH: ~95%
Cycle 3 ETH: ~82%
This cycle: ~69% so far
Expected range was 70-75%. We’re basically there.
But price isn't moving because momentum needs confidence.
And confidence needs liquidity.
$BTC and $ETH have ETF support.
What they don't have is retail + fresh institutional conviction.
Everyone's waiting on:
Fed policy
SEC clarity
Real money to deploy
Meanwhile look at equities:
US Tech is pouring into AI. That's a growth story.
CN Tech is stuck optimizing. That's a cash flow story.
One gets premium valuations. The other gets discounted.
Same in crypto.
Memecoins can pump 10x, but liquidity vanishes just as fast.
I’m watching what sticks after the initial hype.
Don't chase momentum. Follow the liquidity that stays.
Not financial advice. Manage risk first.
#SKHynixNANDExpansion #BTC #ETHMany people ask me why I'm currently bearish on $BTC. I won't give a bunch of complicated reasons, just one sentence: it doesn't even rise when it should. In the past two days, macro data has turned cold all the way, interest rate hike expectations have collapsed, and the US stock market is hitting new highs. Logically, risk assets should be booming, but what about Bitcoin? It sticks to the flat line without moving, grinding weaker and weaker within the range, and altcoins are collectively lying flat. When an asset can't get excited even when all the positives are laid out in front of it, its own center of gravity is actually already written on the chart. I'm not betting it will definitely crash, but going short following this "can't be pulled up even with good news" fatigue is going with the flow, not against it. The direction doesn't come with a price point, the logic is just this, whether you accept my judgment or not.Last time during SanDisk's earnings report, we even did an all-night live stream to watch it. At that time, there was a question: why did SanDisk's stock fall despite a good earnings report? SanDisk's earnings on August 5th were actually very strong, but the stock still fell nearly 8% after hours. The main reason was that some data agencies had higher expectations for profit guidance. The market's real concern was whether NAND prices and profit margins have already peaked. However, at yesterday'Fundamental Research Report $DASH / Dash (Privacy Coin) $3.20
Overall Assessment: Dash ($DASH) scores 47/100, rated as an early-stage project with insufficient validation. Breaking down the three layers: the company team has cash reserves, the protocol network shows signs of paid usage, but token value transmission still needs observation.
Project Overview: Dash (token $DASH) is in the privacy coin sector. It primarily focuses on being a veteran mixer payment solution. Competitors include XMR and ZEC. Traditional centralized platforms charge 15-40% commissions and users lack control over their data. On-chain trustless transactions have lower fees, and token incentives convert early users into contributors. Average transaction size is $50-500/month, requiring USDC or fiat settlement. This is a narrative-driven sector, with usage dropping 60-80% during bear markets. Positioned as an end-to-end vertical platform. Product Deployment: The protocol layer is officially operational; on-chain dashboards show protocol fees accumulating with evidence of paid usage. The latest version was not found; there were 60 valid commits in the past 90 days.
User Metrics: Monthly Active Addresses (MAU) not disclosed, Daily Active Users (DAU) not disclosed, 24h trading volume $80.00M, TVL not found. Wallet addresses do not equal unique monthly active users; concentration of large addresses may overestimate real user count. Revenue: user fees not disclosed; supplier revenue is approximately 80-90% of user fees (allocated to LPs and nodes); protocol treasury income $4.4K; token holders have no annualized buyback and burn mechanism. The 24h trading volume represents business flow, not revenue. Company profitability does not equal protocol profitability, and protocol profitability does not equal token holder profitability. Code side: 60 valid commits in 90 days, 25 active contributors, latest version not found. GitHub is grade A evidence and can be directly verified. Investment background: company equity financing can be checked on PitchBook/Crunchbase (grade A); token private and public sales can be checked via whitepaper, release schedule, and on-chain unlock contracts (grade A); market makers and ecosystem funding are grade B and do not represent long-term holdings by technical VCs; technical integration is grade B based on API/SDK evidence; strategic partnerships and logo walls are grade D. Use of NVIDIA GPUs does not equal NVIDIA investment; exchange listings do not equal strategic exchange investments.
Token Metrics: Total supply 1,300,000,000; circulating supply 950,000,000 (73.1%); FDV $4.20B; next unlock 2026-Q4 (adds +3.50% to circulation); no clear annualized buyback and burn. Is buying tokens required to use the product? Partially yes, with moderate value capture (staking/discounts/governance). Comparing with peers (uniform criteria, no cross-sector comparisons): Circulating market cap: Dash $3.00B, XMR undisclosed, ZEC undisclosed. FDV: Dash $4.20B, XMR undisclosed, ZEC undisclosed. Annual revenue: Dash $4.4K, XMR undisclosed, ZEC undisclosed. Monthly active addresses or users: Dash undisclosed, XMR undisclosed, ZEC undisclosed. Figures are based on public data snapshots; missing data supplemented by official reports or industry standards. Valuation: circulating market cap $3.00B, FDV $4.20B, P/S 684,931.5x, FDV divided by revenue 958,904.1x. Pessimistic scenario values $3.00B at 50-70% discount; neutral range oscillates; optimistic scenario includes revenue doubling, burn implementation, and enterprise clients, aligning FDV P/S with top projects. In summary: evidence is insufficient, narrative-driven (score 47/100). Token value transmission path is unclear, only governance incentives. Circulating market cap is relatively expensive compared to fundamentals, overextending expectations; FDV is moderate. Main risks: short-term large unlocks causing sell-offs, protocol revenue long-term dropping to zero, token demand relying solely on incentives (if incentives stop, usage collapses). Key future indicators to watch: weekly protocol fees, burn amounts, active address retention, TVL/loan balances, GitHub version releases. The above judgments are based on public data and do not constitute any investment advice. Conclusions should be revised if key indicators deviate significantly.
End of report, welcome to discuss.
#FundamentalResearchReport #Crypto #Research #OKXOrbit To elaborate on that, I was super bullish on Clarity Act. From my perspective, Sol would’ve been one of the biggest beneficiaries of it. Why? They literally had the best ecosystem for it: all the different mechanics, launchpads, experiments, attempts to start icm season, etc. Eth could’ve won through institutions, but Sol through actual users.
We don’t know when/if Clarity gets passed, but thanks to rh we already got #ColdcardLossesGrow #CPIPPIEaseFedSplit #SandiskInvestorDayRally Waiting for Confidence, Not Momentum
$BTC and $ETH don't need more catalysts.
We already have:
ETF inflows ✓
Institutional interest ✓
Supply dynamics ✓
What we don't have is conviction.
The market is stuck waiting for 3 things:
1. Fed clarity - rate cuts or pause?
2. SEC direction - rules or lawsuits?
3. Real liquidity - not just rotations
Until that comes, we consolidate.
Meanwhile the divergence is clear:
US Tech: $NVDA $META $GOOGL burning cash on AI capex = buying future productivity
CN Tech: Alibaba, JD, Meituan = cutting costs, optimizing, paying dividends
Capital flows to growth. Not to cash flow.
In crypto, drawdowns are also getting smaller each cycle.
ETH: 95% → 82% → 69% so far.
We may be close to the bottom. But close isn't enough.
The real move starts when confidence returns.
Until then, don't chase momentum. Follow the liquidity that stays.
Not financial advice. Manage risk first.
#SKHynixNANDExpansion #BTC #ETH #FedThe market is in a weird spot right now.
$BTC and $ETH aren't missing catalysts.
We have ETF flows, institutional adoption, and supply shocks.
What we're missing is confidence.
Everyone is waiting for:
1. Fed clarity - cut or hold?
2. SEC direction - regulation or enforcement?
3. Real liquidity - not just ETF rotations
So instead of a rally, we get consolidation.
Boring. Choppy. Frustrating.
Look at the bigger picture:
US Tech: $NVDA $META $GOOGL pouring capex into AI = buying future productivity
CN Tech: Alibaba, JD, Meituan, Baidu = optimizing old businesses + dividends
Capital always flows to growth narratives.
Until China creates new profit pools, Hang Seng Tech will likely keep lagging.
And in crypto, history shows drawdowns get smaller each cycle.
95% → 82% → 69% for Translate Goolsbee's remarks tonight into trading language: He verbally called the CPI "encouraging," but immediately followed with three "buts" — inflation in May and June remains high, we need to observe for another three to four months before being confident, and there's concern if retail continues to decline. This is not dovish; it's "holding position + keeping options open." More notably, he mentioned AI for the first time: if productivity growth continues to slow, the entire narrative around AI needs to be re-evaluated. For us, the weight of this statement lies not in monetary policy, but in the fact that the very string supporting this round of US stock valuations is now being questioned within the Fed itself. Let the data speak; don't just listen to the word "encouraging." I believe this round of OKB's rise is not just pure speculation, but the simultaneous occurrence of "reduced supply + increased utility + OKX ecosystem expansion," leading the market to revalue OKB.
① Extremely limited supply is the underlying logic for the price increase
After a large-scale burn last year, the total supply of OKB is permanently fixed at 21 million tokens, with no subsequent large unlocks.
This means a simple question:
As long as more people buy OKB but the number of tokens does not increase, the price is easily pushed higher.
So OKB is no longer an ordinary platform token; its biggest feature is scarcity.
② X Layer is truly creating demand for OKB
OKB is the native Gas Token of X Layer.
The past question was: Is anyone actually using X Layer?
Now the situation is changing.
OKX is continuously moving tokenized US stocks, ETFs, RWA, stablecoins, and other businesses onto the chain. If more people trade stocks, assets, and stablecoins through X Layer in the future, the more on-chain transactions there are, the greater the real demand for OKB.
This is the most important fundamental behind this price increase.
③ OKX is connecting traditional finance and crypto
This year, OKX established a strategic partnership with ICE, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, while continuously advancing in the US market, tokenized securities, and traditional financial businesses.
What the market is actually speculating on now is not "what OKB is useful for today," but a bigger expectation:
If OKX truly becomes an important gateway between US stocks, crypto, and RWA in the future, then OKB, as the core asset of the entire ecosystem, may have its value redefined.
④ Why is BTC not strong, but OKB is rising?
This actually indicates that OKB is currently running an independent market.
Market funds have not fully entered crypto but are focusing on coins with new stories and fundamental changes.
OKB happens to have all of these:
Fixed supply, exchange background, X Layer, RWA, tokenized stocks.
Therefore, funds have formed a short-term consensus.
⑤ What about the future?
I am generally optimistic in the long term but do not recommend chasing the price in the short term.
Because OKB has now moved from the "undervalued stage" to the "market excitement stage."
If X Layer users, trading volume, and stablecoin scale continue to grow, then OKB's rise will have fundamental support.
But if only the price rises without synchronized growth in on-chain data, it means the market is overheating and a correction should be watched for.
So my strategy is simple:
If you are bullish on OKB, you can wait for a pullback to buy spot in batches; do not chase the price due to continuous rises, and definitely do not use long-term bullish logic to open high-leverage contracts.
In summary:
What truly matters about OKB is not how much it has risen, but whether OKX can turn the 21 million OKB tokens into a truly scarce asset with sustained demand. $BTC is forcing a choice again.
Liquidations around $62.5K have already occurred, so now the balance is slightly shifting in favor of an upward move.
Looking at the order book, large limit orders are quite densely placed:
Up:
$63.8K
$64.5–65.2K
Down:
$61.5–62.4K
It turns into an interesting battle: some liquidity has already been taken from below, but there are still enough orders above for the price to potentially follow them.
Now the main question is — which $BTC cluster will be taken first: $61.5–62.4K or $64.5–65.2K? $BTC has basically been oscillating between 62,000 and 66,000 over the past five weeks. The biggest issue right now is not "whether there is positive news," but the obvious lack of marginal buying after the positive news has been realized. Weak employment, CPI meeting expectations, and ETF fund support have all failed to help BTC firmly hold above $65,000; recently, there have even been repeated ETF outflows, and Strategy has continuously sold BTC. Therefore, I believe the short-term trend is mo$BTC anchors the board at $62,700, and the number matters less than the position: it's sitting under both its 50-day average near $63,400 and its 200-day average near $69,600, a full lap away from the yearly peak above $126,000. Anyone framing this as Bitcoin "holding the high ground" is describing a different chart than the one currently printing. $ETH sits at roughly $1,870, also beneath its 200-day average of $2,034. The institutional-allocation story around Ethereum gets repeated often, buThe War Between Scarcity and Usage: Who Will the Next Round of Funds Bet On?
This bear market has thoroughly brought one question to the forefront: BTC or ETH, whose story is more valuable?
First, let's look at how harsh reality is. As of the close on August 13, BTC was priced at $63,185, sliding down steadily from above $97,000 at the start of the year, with a year-to-date drop of over 30%; ETH fared even worse, with an average price around $1,868 in August, more than halving from its peak of $4,390 on August 4, 2025. The capital flow is equally bleak: since 2026, the US Bitcoin spot ETF has reversed from a net inflow of 500,000 coins in 2024 to a net outflow of about 120,000 coins, with nearly $4 billion withdrawn in Q2 alone, and a single-day net outflow of $130 million on August 14. Institutional money is pulling out, which is the common backdrop for both narratives.
But their situations during the decline are completely different. The "digital gold" narrative of $BTC essentially bets on macro factors—fiat overissuance, sovereign credit devaluation, and a long-term revaluation of scarcity. The problem with this story is that it doesn't require anything to happen on-chain; it just needs the world to be chaotic enough. The reality is that Strategy, one of the most loyal institutional buyers, holds at an average cost of about $75,696 and is now underwater across the board; continuous ETF redemptions indicate that traditional asset management networks are shrinking their risk appetite for "digital gold." The narrative isn't dead, but the faith holders are paying the price.
The "on-chain economy" narrative of $ETH bets on usage—DeFi, stablecoin settlements, and RWA tokenization all running on its platform. The logic is appealing, but the market's rejection is straightforward: the value generated by on-chain activity hasn't effectively translated into the token price, Layer 2 solutions have diverted fees, and ETH has dropped from $2,967 at the end of last year to now, underperforming BTC for an entire cycle. The biggest weakness of the usage narrative is that it requires valuation based on revenue proof, and current revenues don't support the story.
How will the next round of funds be allocated? My judgment is layered rather than an either-or choice. Risk-averse and allocation-type funds—pensions, family offices, sovereign accounts—will flow back to BTC first because the "digital gold" decision chain is shortest; a Fed pivot to easing and a weaker dollar are the triggers, requiring no understanding of any on-chain details. ETH, on the other hand, needs incremental funds under much stricter conditions: either the settlement scale of stablecoins and RWAs grows large enough to make "on-chain GDP" a quantifiable valuation anchor, or staking yields are explicitly allowed by regulators into institutional portfolios. The former is happening but not fast enough to keep up with the narrative.
What truly deserves attention is the core contradiction: the market currently trusts neither narrative but only liquidity. In an environment of high interest rates and a strong dollar, both scarcity and usage stories are long-term promises. So don't ask which narrative funds believe in; first ask when liquidity will return. On the day liquidity is unleashed, BTC will move first; on the day on-chain revenue truly materializes, ETH will have the chance to catch up. Until then, position size matters more than viewpoint. Your core observation is fair: BTC is showing a lack of follow-through despite relatively supportive macro data. On August 14, BTC remained around $63K even after softer U.S. inflation data, while ETF flows turned negative again.
But I’d soften one part: “there is genuinely no one buying at the top” is too absolute. The market can be in a distribution/consolidation phase without proving that large holders have completely exited.
For the current structure:
BTC: $64K remains an important upside hurdle; failure to reclaim it keeps the range vulnerable.
ETH: Around $1.9K, it also lacks convincing upside momentum.
ETF flows: Two consecutive days of BTC ETF outflows are a genuine short-term headwind.
Macro: Softer inflation should theoretically help risk assets, but crypto hasn't responded strongly—which itself suggests demand/liquidity remains the bigger issue.
So rather than assuming “it must fall” or “it must reverse,” the better conclusion is: **the market is waiting for a catalyst, and until BTC breaks out of its range with real volume, patience is valuable.**Not necessarily. What you’re describing looks more like selective altcoin rotation than a confirmed broad altcoin season.
A true altseason is usually much broader: BlockchainCenter currently shows an Altcoin Season Index of 61, while the commonly used confirmation threshold is 75—meaning most major altcoins need to outperform BTC over the relevant period. CoinMarketCap's current BTC dominance is about 58.5%, which also suggests capital is still heavily concentrated in Bitcoin.
Why can alts pump while gold and stocks are also rising?
It doesn't necessarily mean the same money is leaving gold/stocks and entering alts.
A few things can happen simultaneously:
Liquidity is fragmented: different investors can be taking risk in different markets.
Low-float alts can move dramatically: a relatively small amount of buying can produce a huge percentage move.
Short covering: yes, this can accelerate a rally, especially when an alt suddenly breaks resistance and shorts rush to exit.
Narrative rotation: AI, DeFi, RWA, L1s, etc. can attract concentrated flows even while the broader alt market remains weak.
BTC consolidation: when BTC stops moving aggressively, traders sometimes move further down the risk curve looking for higher returns.
So a token doing 2× or 3× doesn't by itself prove altseason. It can simply be a localized liquidity event.
The confirmation I'd watch is BTC dominance falling consistently + ETH/BTC strengthening + a broad increase in the number of alts outperforming BTC. If those happen together and the Altcoin Season Index moves toward/above 75, the altseason argument becomes much stronger.
In short: yes, short squeezes may be part of these explosive moves—but they probably aren't the whole story. Right now I'd call it **selective altcoin rotation, not confirmed full altseason.**Besides the reasons mentioned yesterday, the drop in $SPCX stock price today may be due to Cursor completing the delivery.
Although the acquisition of Cursor was a story from June, there is a hidden detail in the specific operation: the share exchange ratio is calculated based on the volume-weighted average price of the seven trading days before delivery.
This is a textbook rehearsal of the previously mentioned Tesla—SpaceX merger.
Raising SpaceX's stock price while suppressing the acquirer's stock price is the most beneficial way for SpaceX/Elon Musk himself. Although he cannot directly manipulate the stock price, he clearly achieved his goal by precisely bypassing SEC regulation through controlled release of positive news.
There are two more reasons for the drop to 135 today:
On August 20, 319 million shares will become eligible for transfer, so funds reduce risk ahead of the weekend.
Today is the weekly options expiration day; $135 is both the IPO price and near the maximum pain point for options. After breaking below 139–140, call hedges withdraw and put hedges may amplify the decline; near 135, put profit-taking, hedge covering, and IPO price buying collectively trigger a rebound.
Future price scenarios:
Reclaiming 139.5–140: indicates effective support at 135.
Recovering 141.29 and further stabilizing at 143–145: today looks more like a sell-the-fact shakeout.
Closing between 135–139: structure remains weak, likely to retest 135 again before next week's unlock.
Closing below 135 with no rebound: next supports at 132.5 and 130 respectively.SanDisk surges, what is Wall Street really repricing? After SanDisk's investor day today, the stock soared. Many people's first reaction might be: AI again, storage price hikes again. But I think the truly important thing is not these. In the past month, the market has been worried about one thing: Now that NAND is so profitable, how much longer can it keep making money? Because the biggest characteristic of the storage industry in the past has been its cycles. Prices rise, profits surge, then t$BTC has already entered the red zone for August.
And here the statistics become quite unpleasant.
In the years of U.S. midterm elections, Bitcoin has historically never closed August in the green.
If history repeats itself again, August could end in the red — which would mean six consecutive monthly closes in the negative.
Of course, history does not guarantee the scenario will repeat. But when the current structure starts to match the historical pattern, I definitely wouldn’t ignore it. The market is pricing in a Fed split, and it's getting messy.
CPI and PPI both cooling = "Fed should cut" camp is loud
But jobs still strong + inflation sticky = "Fed should hold" camp is louder
Result? #CPIPPIEaseFedSplit
Meanwhile $SP500 is knocking on 8000.
Everyone feels like we should rally... but no one trusts it.
Why?
Because liquidity hasn't actually returned.
ETF inflows for $BTC and $ETH look good on paper, but retail isn't back.
Institutions are nibbling, not buying.
US Tech keeps pouring billions into AI capex: $NVDA $META $GOOGL
That's a "buying future productivity" story.
CN Tech: Alibaba, JD, Meituan, Baidu
That's a "cut costs and pay dividends" story.
Capital flows to growth, not to cash flow.
So we sit here.
SPX near 8000. BTC/ETH consolidating.
Waiting for one thing: Confidence.
Until Fed gives clarity, until SEC gives rules,
this is a trader's market, not an investor's market.
Patience wins.Yes—this is an important development for XRP, but I’d add one correction to the framing.
Evernorth is revising the transaction mechanics because the XRP price used in the original deal was about $2.36, and the closing-price formula can adjust the number of shares issued. SEC-filed documents confirm that the closing XRP price is tied to a benchmark based on XRP prices immediately before closing.
The 473.28M+ XRP figure is also real: Evernorth disclosed that amount as its purchased/committed XRP, and later SEC materials say it expects to launch with at least that amount.
The bigger takeaway is interesting:
XRP price → affects the transaction/share mechanics → affects how much XRP exposure investors receive per share.
So XRP isn't just an underlying asset here; its market price is becoming an important variable in a public-market capital structure.
That said, I wouldn't interpret the restructuring as automatically bullish for XRP's price. It mainly shows that XRP's volatility is materially affecting institutional deal economics. 👀Yes, $1,750–$1,800 is a plausible upside zone, but I wouldn’t assume SNDK will move there in a straight line.
SanDisk’s Investor Day was genuinely bullish: management projected mid-to-high-teens annual revenue growth for FY2028–2030, around 80% adjusted gross margins, and highlighted multiyear customer contracts. The stock jumped about 14% Thursday and continued higher in pre-market Friday.
For the move you're describing, I’d think in scenarios:
$1,550–$1,600: important area to hold after the initial surge.
$1,650–$1,700: momentum/psychological zone.
$1,750–$1,800: reasonable next upside area if buyers maintain strong volume.
Failure to hold the breakout: could trigger profit-taking and a sharp retracement because SNDK is extremely volatile.
There are also analyst targets above $2,000, including JPMorgan's $2,250 target, but those are longer-term expectations—not evidence that SNDK must reach $1,800 today.
So I wouldn't try to predict “gap up or dip first.” After a move this large, either is possible. The more useful signal is whether the stock holds the breakout after the opening volatility.
And if someone has already closed a position, chasing the next candle just because it keeps rising can be especially risky. The ETF flow picture is definitely worth watching, but two days of outflows alone don't confirm a larger bearish trend.
If the reported $131M net outflow on August 13 is accurate, it suggests institutional demand cooled in the short term. At the same time, continued accumulation from large holders could indicate that some market participants are using the weakness to build positions.
So I’d frame the setup like this:
🔴 BTC ETF outflows: Short-term institutional demand is weakening.
🐋 Whale accumulation: Potentially constructive, but it needs confirmation through sustained buying.
🟠 BTC price action: More important than ETF flows alone—holding major support would reduce the bearish signal.
🔵 ETH: If BTC stabilizes, ETH could benefit from renewed risk appetite.
📈 S&P 500: Record highs are keeping the broader risk-on environment relatively supportive.
Bottom line: Right now the signals are mixed—ETF flows are cautious, while whale behavior may be hinting at accumulation. I’d wait for BTC to stabilize and ETF flows to turn positive again before calling it a confirmed reversal. In the past few years, the crypto world has been all about storytelling—narratives, macro liquidity, VC stakes, and fully diluted market cap. As long as the story was sexy enough, even projects without a penny of profit could see their tokens skyrocket.
But since this year, with institutionalization accelerating, people have started to view crypto assets through the lens of traditional finance: setting aside concepts, how much real revenue can this actually generate?
As valuation logic shifts from "air narratives" to "revenue and cash flow," the pricing logic for the two big brothers, $BTC and $ETH, is undergoing fundamental changes.
However, their logics are different.
First, Bitcoin relies on global trust. Simply put, Bitcoin sells the ledger security of "digital gold." As long as people worldwide remain uneasy about fiat inflation, Bitcoin's underlying pricing logic won't collapse.
Second, why can't Ethereum surpass Bitcoin? Besides Bitcoin's halving mechanism, Ethereum is somewhat like a company, but its L2 scaling is too fragmented. So, if you compare it to a company, there's a huge gap between its "operating revenue" and the "cash flow token holders can receive," which greatly lowers its valuation.
So starting this year, the market has moved away from air concepts and aligned crypto more closely with real assets.
Valuation logic has changed, and naturally, the logic for making money has changed too. Without capturing the core value proposition, blind faith will only lead to a prolonged downtrend. #加密估值转向收入,BTC如何定价? SanDisk, please don't rise too fast, my heart can't take it.
I originally thought investing in US stocks was about getting rich slowly, but SNDK directly switched to acceleration mode.
Looking back to July this year, the storage sector underwent a major adjustment, and SanDisk fell from the June high of 2382 to around 972, a maximum drop of nearly 60%.
When it fell below 1000, I was really panicked and didn't dare to get in. The market was full of fear, no one knew where the bottom was, I even closed the trading app—not because I didn't want to watch, but because I was afraid to watch.
Ten days later, I reopened the app, and the storage king was back. After the price stabilized at 1400, I started building my position, then it rose to 1600.
I don't regret not buying SanDisk below 1000; opportunity is important, but trend is more important.
At this investor day, SanDisk announced long-term goals: gross margin about 80%, operating profit margin about 75%, and free cash flow margin about 50% for fiscal years 2028–2030.
The company is reducing blind capacity expansion and has signed long-term agreements with 8 customers; AI demand is driving the storage industry into a new cycle.
After the announcement, SNDK once rose nearly 18%, with a cumulative increase of over 530% this year.
This time, I’m first looking at 2300, then 3000.
However, the faster it rises, the more calm is needed; ultimately, it depends on performance delivery.
Today is my trade review and market analysis of SanDisk; feel free to share your holdings in the comments. For this SanDisk rally, are you still on board or have you already gotten off?The short-term sentiment for SOL is clearly more bullish, taking a dominant position. Don't mistake popularity for market movement just yet.
OKX Onchain OS recorded 13 mentions of SOL within one hour on August 14 at 23:00, which is about 0.55 times the average hourly mentions over the past 24 hours. The current sentiment is "clearly more bullish."
Here, two things need to be separated: an increase in mention frequency only indicates more new discussions; a bullish or bearish dominance only reflects text classification. Neither equates to actual buy or sell orders. In this round of sources, X accounts for 12 mentions and news for 1 mention. The more concentrated the sources, the easier it is for a single narrative to be amplified.
I will wait for the next snapshot to confirm if the speed and sources continue, then review spot trading volume, funding rates, open interest, and on-chain usage. When the data corroborates each other, this wave of interest is worth a closer look.$SNDK surged to $1642 after Investor Day, with the current core market tension centered on whether the long-term 80% gross margin guidance can withstand the capacity expansion cycle. The pricing logic has shifted from fear of a cycle peak to long-term profitability sustainability.
Market facts show the stock price rapidly pushed up from $1400, driven primarily by $93.9 billion in orders and long-term contracts locking in about two-thirds of FY28 shipments, smoothing spot price volatility; the second driver is management's commitment to return 100% of excess cash flow to shareholders, raising the market's valuation floor for profitability sustainability.
The bullish scenario requires data center demand to continue exceeding expectations, allowing data center revenue to sustain strong growth near $3 billion in FY26. If eight long-term contract customers fulfill smoothly and the industry supply gap remains unfilled, capital will continue to speculate on the FY30 theoretical EPS exceeding $300, pushing the stock price toward the $2200 target. The signal that this scenario fails is a sharp drop in NAND spot prices causing friction in long-term contract execution.
The bearish scenario triggers if supply accelerates, with competitors like Samsung and SK Hynix expanding production and cutting costs, breaking the current supply-demand balance. When the market sees gross margins revert from the latest quarter's 84.6% toward 80% and continue to be pressured, and the 75% operating profit margin peak becomes unsustainable, valuation models will face downward revisions, and the stock price will retest the previous $1400 starting point.
The boundary for valuation judgment failure lies in the real ability to deliver excess cash flow. Once the storage industry enters a new round of price cuts leading to cash flow shrinkage, the 100% cash return commitment's support for valuation will significantly weaken, and the market will reclassify this stock into traditional cyclical stock pricing.
The most important variables to watch in the next 7 days are the price trends in the storage spot market and recent capacity expansion statements from industry competitors.
#马斯克称AI将占SpaceX价值99% #标普收盘再创新高,8000点预期升温 This view is quite reasonable, but there’s one important nuance: the S&P 500 has now moved above 7,800 and is approaching the psychological 8,000 level.
The softer-than-expected July PPI has also reduced some concerns around aggressive rate policy, while strong AI-related earnings continue to support the rally.
My view on 8,000:
🟢 Holding above 7,800 → 8,000 becomes a realistic near-term target.
🟢 Strong AI earnings + lower yields → could keep the momentum going.
🟠 Near 8,000, profit-taking and volatility could increase.
🔴 Any renewed inflation pressure or weak earnings could trigger a sharp pullback because valuations are already elevated.
For BTC, the key question is whether the strong equity-market risk appetite eventually flows into crypto. If yields continue falling, the dollar remains soft, and investors keep embracing risk, crypto could benefit from that liquidity rotation.
Bottom line: 8,000 is definitely within reach, but I’d want to see 7,800 turn into solid support before calling the move fully confirmed. 📈
What do you think—will the S&P break 8,000 smoothly, or will we see a pullback first? $SPY $BTCApplications on Core are beginning to generate real economic activity.
In the past 30 days, @Coredao_Org application layer fees reached approximately $58,900, while the base chain Gas fees were only about $274.
In other words, the fees generated by applications are about 215 times the Gas revenue of the chain itself.
This indicates a noteworthy change:
The market is genuinely willing to pay fees for DeFi, staking, and other applications, rather than merely for on-chain Gas consumption.
Even more interestingly, while TVL has declined, Core chain fees have still increased by 14.9% over the same period.
On August 13, Core had about 8,755 new users and 47,299 transactions, with daily active users remaining at a relatively high level.
Of course, there is also a clear contrast in the data:
TVL is currently about $4.35 million, $CORE price is around $0.019, having lost the vast majority of its market value from the 2023 all-time high of $6.14.
But if application revenue continues to grow and on-chain activity remains active, what the market really needs to observe may no longer be "whether Core still has users," but rather:
When will these real economic activities be reflected in $CORE's value capture?
For Core, this might be the most important metric to track in the next phase.
#Core #CORE #BTCfi$OKB insider news, OK Exchange's major strategic decision: directly distribute 20% of the exchange's profits to token holders.SanDisk's talk is even more imaginative than Musk's.
$1528, up 13.67% in one day, with an intraday high of $1580. Since the low of 1238 after the August 5 earnings report, it has rebounded 23% in a week. What's the reason? Just the investor day on August 13, a 29-minute meeting.
The management said: "Revenue will maintain mid-to-high double-digit growth from fiscal 2028 to 2030, gross margin will stay around 80%, operating margin about 75%, and adjusted free cash flow margin about 50%."
In plain language: We are going to print money, distribute profits, and return 100% of excess cash to shareholders.
Once this was announced, Goldman Sachs issued a report overnight with a target price of $2200. Royal Bank of Canada raised its target from $1300 to $1600. JPMorgan upgraded to overweight with a target of $2250. Among 23 analysts, the consensus rating is "strong buy" with an average target price of $2054.
The market really believed it.
But think calmly, how much is this company really worth?
The quarterly revenue was $8.965 billion, up 372% year-over-year, with a gross margin of 84.6%, all record highs. Sounds explosive, right? The next quarter's revenue guidance midpoint is $10.55 billion, below analysts' expectation of $10.8 billion. On the day the earnings came out, the stock dropped 8%.
More painfully, the quality of growth—51% quarter-over-quarter revenue increase, only one-third came from shipment volume growth, the remaining two-thirds came entirely from NAND price increases. Bernstein has already warned that Q3 DRAM price growth dropped sharply from 74% to 17%, NAND from 75% to 20%. The price hike cycle is nearing its end.
But management did leave some room.
Eight NBM long-term agreements lock in a minimum revenue of $93.9 billion over the next four years. Over 50% of supply for fiscal 2027 is already locked, about two-thirds for fiscal 2028. Some largest customers requested to increase their purchase volume for the next 3 to 5 years just one quarter after signing. AI inference is turning NAND into a core component of AI infrastructure.
The problem is, HBF chips have just completed tape-out, with samples to be delivered next year. The pie looks big, but monetization is still some distance away.
Current market situation:
$1528 just held. $1600 is the immediate hurdle, with the June high of $2354 still hanging above. Support exists at $1450-$1480, and $1350 is near the IPO price support. Goldman Sachs says there is still 44% upside, but Morningstar's report last week was titled simply: "The rally has detached from fundamentals."
Trading plan:
Buy a little on pullback to $1450-$1480, stop loss at $1400, target $1580-$1600. If it can't hold near $1600, short some, stop loss $1650, target $1480. Don't bottom-fish if $1350 breaks, wait for $1200-$1250.
How much is SanDisk's pie worth? The market has expressed itself with a 23% rebound. But the earnings guidance just hurt the market once, and rebounds driven by hype often fall hard. Buying below $1400 is much more comfortable than chasing near $1600. #闪迪投资者日后股价大涨,长期目标待验证 The rise has already been priced into the long-term performance targets, with technical indicators showing overbought conditions, signaling an imminent phase correction in the trend?
Considering the two-stage rally and valuation status, this surge is not merely speculative short-term AI demand but a market-driven rewrite of SanDisk's valuation framework, re-pricing the traditional cyclical storage company as a high-margin AI growth stock. The steady-state performance with high growth from 2028 to 2030, 75% operating profit margin, and continuous dividends and buybacks has largely been discounted into the current stock price.
The market performance clearly exhibits signs of expectation overextension: two consecutive days of strong bullish candlesticks with violent rallies, continuously rising turnover rate, short-term RSI entering the overbought zone, and a large accumulation of previous trapped selling pressure and short-term profit-taking between $1640-$1695. The technical pattern already demands a technical correction. Multiple investment banks have simultaneously raised target prices, and the market's unanimous bullish sentiment peak is precisely a signal that the trend is prone to reversal.
There are many uncertainties in the long-term business goals themselves. Any underperformance in the NAND industry cycle, AI technology implementation pace, or major client contract renewals will cause the previously priced-in long-term valuation to quickly retract. Now that the stock price has detached from the broader market and surged independently, even if the S&P continues to hit new highs, SanDisk is unlikely to sustain a unilateral rally. After completely overturning the previous pessimistic pricing at $980, the market has swung to extreme optimism, causing a pricing imbalance between bulls and bears.
Following the trend risk avoidance approach, do not chase the current high-level rally. If the stock price fails to break through the upper resistance, consider light position trading to speculate on a correction, waiting for the price to pull back near $1520 to digest the overextended long-term valuation before reassessing layout opportunities, thereby avoiding rapid retracements caused by concentrated profit-taking at high levels.
#闪迪投资者日后股价大涨,长期目标待验证 APR remains bearish in the short term, with distribution and selling pressure coexisting at high levels; $0.40–0.45 is the key support, breaking below may accelerate the decline.
Why bearish
- Contract-driven surge: 24-hour contract trading volume is about $2.6 billion–$3 billion, spot only about $31 million; contracts account for 98.58%, price driven by leveraged funds rather than real spot demand
- Extreme sentiment: RSI once reached an "extremely overbought" 99.6, then fell back to around 0.48, a typical "rally—pullback" distribution pattern
- Intensified capital game: open interest about $105 million, large long-short divergence; about $11.17 million contracts liquidated within 24 hours, fierce high-level competition
- Buyback ≠ burn: about 53 million tokens (5.3% of total supply) were bought back but not burned, instead used for community incentives and ecosystem development, not fundamentally reducing circulation pressure
- Unlock selling pressure: about $6.64 million tokens unlocked on July 20, early investors have cash-out motives
- Market cap and circulating supply: market cap about $139 million, circulating supply about 278 million tokens, small market cap and concentrated holdings favor pump and dump
- Fundamentals not significantly improved: Capricorn (formerly aPriori) positioned as Monad ecosystem's DeFi infrastructure, focusing on liquid staking and MEV optimization; despite well-known institutional investment, the project is still early stage, fundamentals hard to support over 150% short-term gains
Key price levels and trading strategy
- Support: $0.40–0.45 (upper range of previous consolidation), breaking below may open further downside
- Resistance: $0.55–0.60 (recent rebound highs), difficult to change bearish trend without volume breakout
- Strategy:
- For existing short positions: use $0.40–0.45 as defense, add moderately if broken; consider adding shorts if rebound is blocked at $0.55–0.60
- For no positions: build shorts in batches at resistance zone, stop loss above $0.65; or wait for effective break below $0.40 to chase shorts
- Position management: strictly control leverage, build positions in batches, reserve funds for repeated volatility
Risk warnings
- Liquidity risk: small-cap coins have large volatility and poor liquidity, extreme conditions may cause slippage expansion or inability to close positions
- Fundamental changes: if project technology breakthrough or ecosystem rapidly expands, may change downtrend
- Systemic risk: when overall crypto market strengthens, risk appetite rises, short-term may drive APR rebound $APR The wind direction has changed. The Celsius dial cracked, but I am very clear that the wind has only shifted from southwest to east-southeast, and the target is still floating at the edge of the shooting range. This is our battlefield: U.S. July PPI slid from 5.5% to 4.7%, and the core gauge also eased to 4.2%, with all monthly rates biting below the expected red line. CPI also retreated in sync, from 3.5% to 3.4%, with the core dropping 0.1 points for two consecutive months. Coupled with initial jobless claims climbing to 209,000 last week, the pressure on the trigger for a September rate hike was instantly diluted.
But that doesn't mean I'm loading the gun.
As a sniper who has been lying in wait at the high ground for three days and nights, I only look at the path of least resistance. The crossfire within the Federal Reserve hasn't dissipated yet: Harker's gun muzzle is rising, saying rates still need to go up; Barkin is pressing on the scope dial, implying the current restrictive rate is enough to lock the target. These are two observers reporting completely opposite wind correction constants in the same northwest wind. So the September bet is destined to drift—the dollar index oscillates narrowly like a sine wave on the trajectory calculator, the long-term Treasury yield's crosshair randomly sweeps, and gold—that cold gunman you can never predict—starts to repeatedly provoke along the box's edge.
As for $XPLTR, this target is exposed under multiple overlapping aiming devices. Its shooting window hasn't closed: before the boot of slowing rate cuts lands, any inflation data below expectations will accelerate its bullet; but you know, an ace sniper never fires into the light. Macro data flows like bullets, while market structure is the repeatedly penetrated bulletproof glass. If $XPLTR's risk-reward ratio doesn't reach above 1:1.5, I will move my index finger off the trigger guard.
I see in $XPLTR's night vision scope that low-volume sideways trading is the main movement, and the laterally converging Bollinger Bands look like a snake about to strike. Lurking is my specialty. Now just waiting for a volume breakout signal, waiting for no more room for any wind correction in front of the muzzle. At that moment, I will decisively pull the trigger, a fatal shot, no dragging it out. As for now, the bullet is withdrawn, safety off, continuing to disguise as a stone.
#CPIPPIEaseFedSplit Sandisk's current price is clearly an emotional bubble, initially severely overextending the optimistic expectations for 2028. Therefore, the probability of reaching and holding the 1700 level is extremely low. According to the image (the world's smartest 5.6sol model), if your liquidation price is above 2000, there is no need to worry at all, because storage is a cyclical stock with constantly changing supply and demand dynamics. The current period from August to September is a high demand season, which will cool down later. So the current price has fully met expectations and even includes FOMO sentiment that overextends the next two years. Shorting on rallies is completely logical!! #闪迪财报前夕,HBF与存储紧缺引发热议 Why did $ETH's earnings beat cause a sell-off, while Investor Day sent SNDK soaring? Understanding this point is key to understanding SanDisk.
Many people studying SNDK focus only on "whether the performance is good or not," which is exactly where they often get it wrong.
After the August earnings report, the stock price once plunged—not because the performance was poor, but because the next quarter's guidance failed to meet very high expectations, coupled with concerns about slowing NAND price growth. The market trades on the future, not the profits already announced.
What did Investor Day really change?
SanDisk provided at once what the market had been most lacking—long-term visibility:
FY2028–2030 revenue targets of mid-double-digit growth, non-GAAP gross margin around 80%, operating margin about 75%, free cash flow rate about 50%; NBM agreements with 8 customers cover about 50% of bit shipments in FY2027 and about two-thirds in FY2028.
On the technology side, BiCS10 QLC bit density is 60% higher than BiCS8, and HBF directly targets the storage bottleneck in the AI inference era.
As a result, the market repriced, and SNDK rose 13.7% on Investor Day.
Earnings reports prove "how much money is being made now," while Investor Day answers "how long the company can keep making money in the coming years."
This is the real reason SNDK is taking off. $BTC $ETH #CPI与PPI同步降温,加息分歧扩大 #CPI与PPI同步降温,加息分歧扩大 It's Saturday, brothers, and the market is still the same deadlock: $BTC has been stuck around 63150 all day, $ETH at 1885, $SOL at 75.5, the big three are like they've been acupressured. This week, Bitcoin basically stayed flat, with gains and losses under 1%, a perfect example of a zero-sum game.
On the macro side, last week's CPI and PPI both cooled down, which should have been good news, but all the money ran to US stocks to buy AI storage — SanDisk surged 18% in one candle, LITE and COHR took off as well. In crypto, we can't even get a sip; good news with no price increase is the most painful signal.
Liquidity is thinnest on weekends, so the chance of flash crashes spikes. For futures traders, listen to me: reduce leverage if you can, don't bet on direction when no one is there to take the other side. Spot holders, hold tight; bottom zones are a test of patience.
Still the same saying: the market is endured, not chased. $BTC $ETH $SOL When policy winds blow, the market is most likely to hear "meetings" as "starting gun."
The White House will meet with executives from the crypto and prediction market industries next week, timed just before the CFTC Innovation Advisory Committee's inaugural meeting.
The market interprets this as positive for U.S. compliant crypto infrastructure and the prediction market sector, but it does not point to any single token. The focus is not on who will take off immediately, but on the regulatory agenda possibly shifting from enforcement tug-of-war to discussions on rules and market structure.
Such closed-door communications usually do not immediately change prices. For traders, the short-term focus should be on narratives around related platforms like Coinbase, Kraken, Kalshi, Polymarket, and whether the CFTC subsequently signals new event contracts, spot trading, or custody rules.
Rising policy expectations can easily bring sentiment recovery; whether it can truly continue depends on the specific statements after the meetings.

#Crypto100W Market Analysis | South Korean Stocks Rebound Over 22% in Ten Days, Storage Sector Shows Leveraged-Driven Cyclical Rotation
📌Key Points: The recent sharp drop in the South Korean stock market was not due to fundamental issues in the AI industry, but triggered by domestic leveraged ETFs facing margin tightening that caused forced liquidations; the short-term violent rebound is mainly driven by leveraged capital replenishment, with storage leaders leading the rally, but continuous foreign capital outflows remain a looming risk.
Core Highlights
1. The Truth Behind July’s Sharp Decline: Leveraged Liquidation, Not a Collapse of Logic
KOSPI experienced its largest single-month drop since the financial crisis in July. The market once panicked over an AI bubble burst, but HBM demand and major AI capital expenditures did not materially deteriorate.
The trigger was regulatory tightening on leveraged ETF margins, causing a chain reaction of forced liquidations and frequent index circuit breakers, a liquidity crisis of a capital-driven market.
2. Rapid Recovery, Sentiment Leads
In just over ten trading days, the index rebounded more than 22% from the low, directly entering a technical bull market range.
Samsung and SK Hynix continued to lead gains; US stocks Micron and SanDisk strengthened overnight, followed by South Korean storage stocks rallying in tandem, showing strong correlation. The market joked that the scenario resembles a crypto script: leverage on the way up and leverage on the way down, with regulatory tightening or loosening directly controlling market rhythm.
3. Current Bull-Bear Battle
✅ Bull Case: SK Hynix is tied to Nvidia and Google’s HBM supply chain, with a rising volume and price industry narrative still valid, and forward valuations not considered overvalued.
⚠️ Bear Risk: Foreign capital has been continuously withdrawing large amounts from Korean stocks this year; this rebound is more a short-term leveraged capital replenishment, and the volatile nature of cyclical stocks remains unchanged. #MagicalReality! Positive news doesn't boost, negative news crashes, what catalyst is the crypto world really waiting for🚨
The current crypto market is very surreal:
When the US stock market has good news, the crypto market treats it as bad news;
When the US stock market has bad news, it directly triggers a black swan crash.
CPI and PPI data have been released consecutively, signaling inflation cooling is now on the table.
July CPI year-on-year is 3.4%, core CPI 2.5%, all meeting expectations;
PPI month-on-month is flat, year-on-year dropped from 5.5% to 4.7%.
According to past logic, cooling inflation and a lower probability of rate hikes should lead to a rebound in risk assets.
CME data also shows the probability of a rate hike in September fell from 40% to 32%.
But reality directly contradicts this.
$BTC slightly surged before the news, but the data release immediately killed momentum, stuck around 64000 with repeated sideways trading, moving as steadily as a stablecoin.
$ETH is even worse, continuously oscillating between 1870-1890, hitting 1900 only to be pushed down, with a short-term ceiling firmly stuck at 1900.
Over 60,000 liquidations in the past 24 hours, and ETF funds have not flowed back.
Meanwhile, the US stock market shows a different picture:
SanDisk surged 10%, SK Hynix soared over 7%.
The same economic data produces two completely different worlds, no longer explainable by economic fundamentals alone.
There is huge internal division within the Federal Reserve; some officials support rate hikes, others advocate waiting.
Whether to hike rates in September depends only half on economic data; political maneuvering also plays a role.
Many people miss the key point:
The market wants rate cuts, not just a pause in rate hikes.
No rate hike only stops bleeding; only rate cuts truly inject liquidity into the market.
ETH has been consolidating for nearly two weeks, facing selling pressure every time it nears 1900, waiting for the catalyst of rate cut expectations.
Once market focus shifts from "whether to hike rates" to "when to cut rates," ETH's elasticity will far exceed BTC's, and declining staking yields will directly push the ETH/BTC ratio higher.
US chip stocks surged, driven by AI + chip bill capacity transfer expectations;
while the crypto world is still stuck in the liquidity narrative, waiting in vain.
📌Practical strategy
✅BTC: Do not chase above 64000, wait for a pullback near 63000 before considering entry
✅ETH: Gradually buy below 1850, refuse to chase above 1900
Be patient until external political struggles settle, then liquidity will truly favor the crypto market.
#CPI and PPI cooling simultaneously, rate hike disagreements widen
$BTC $ETH$ETH is showing an interesting setup around $1,870. 👀
Repeatedly testing the same level can mean buyers are absorbing selling pressure—but it can also mean support is weakening.
Meanwhile, $BTC remains the key market driver. If BTC continues making lower lows, ETH's apparent strength could disappear quickly.
So the setup is basically:
🟢 ETH holds $1,870 + BTC stabilizes → potential breakout/pump.
🔴 ETH loses $1,870 + BTC makes another low → dump risk increases.
⚡ ETH breaks resistance with volume → stronger confirmation of a reversal.
ETH may be preparing for a move, but waiting for confirmation is safer than assuming the explosion will be upward.$AAVE's V4 deposit scale has surpassed $400 million, reaching a new high, with funds returning to the deep lending pools. #特朗普因TruthSocial付费数据流遭起诉 #标普收盘再创新高,8000点预期升温The core thesis is strong, but one part needs nuance: miners moving toward AI/HPC hosting doesn't automatically mean Bitcoin's network security will weaken. It depends on how much mining capacity actually leaves the network and whether remaining miners can maintain sufficient hash rate and profitability.
The bigger story is that miners increasingly control something AI companies desperately need: powered land, substations, transmission infrastructure, and existing grid connections. That infrastructure can potentially generate more predictable long-term revenue than Bitcoin mining.
So the debate is really:
⛏️ Bitcoin mining: higher volatility, BTC-price exposure, but directly strengthens network security.
🤖 AI/HPC hosting: potentially steadier contracted cash flow and infrastructure-style valuations, but requires huge capital investment and successful execution.
If enough miners pivot, Bitcoin's hash rate could fall temporarily. But Bitcoin's difficulty adjustment is designed to respond to changes in mining participation, so a reduction in miners doesn't simply mean the network stops functioning.
My takeaway: this isn't necessarily “miners abandoning Bitcoin.” It's more like miners realizing that their most valuable asset may be their power infrastructure rather than their ASICs. The interesting question is whether AI hosting can deliver sufficiently attractive returns to permanently change the economics of the mining industry.

Aave's core contracts themselves were not hacked, but because it accepted these collaterals, it directly took on nearly $200 million in bad debt risk, which also triggered a wave of large-scale withdrawals.
So why are deposits still increasing now?
First, the incident was peripheral, not core. Aave's lending engine itself was not breached, and the bad debt was ultimately covered through coordination among ecosystem parties. The market remembers not "Aave was hacked," but "there was an incident but it held up and didn't collapse."
Second, V4 is a new architecture. The Hub-and-Spoke model centralizes liquidity and isolates risk by market. Previously, if one asset had a problem, it could infect the entire pool; now the isolation is much more thorough. Many see this as a direct response to the last lesson.
Third, choices are actually limited. In DeFi, there are only a few lending protocols that can handle large funds, have sufficient depth, and mature liquidation mechanisms. Aave is still the largest among them. When funds need a place to earn interest, they ultimately flow back here.
Fourth, there are incentives. Since V4 launched, various reward activities have been continuous, pushing deposit rates higher, naturally attracting people.
In short, the crypto market's tolerance for "incidents" is higher than imagined, especially when the issue is ultimately covered and the protocol survives. Trust doesn't reset to zero after one accident; it depends on how you handle it afterward, whether the architecture improves, and whether people are still willing to use it.
Aave's current 400 million in deposits essentially represents the market voting with real money: although it had an incident, people still prefer to put their money here rather than elsewhere.
