#奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 I am actually more cautious about Bitcoin's short-term market than a few days ago.
Because the market has shown a very alarming signal.
The US 10-year Treasury yield has clearly fallen, the dollar weakened, and gold rose.
According to past logic, these should have been favorable for Bitcoin.
But Bitcoin once dropped near $80,000.
More importantly, on October 14, the US spot Bitcoin ETF had a net outflow of $261 million.
This made me start to suspect one thing:
The market might not be trading liquidity easing, but trading risk.
There are two completely different reasons for the decline in US Treasury yields.
One is that the market expects a rate cut and funds are ready to re-enter risk assets.
The other is that investors are scared and start buying Treasuries for safety.
If it is the second, then the yield decline may not necessarily save Bitcoin.
I will focus on observing three signals next.
First, whether Bitcoin can stabilize above $83,000 again.
Second, whether ETFs can continuously restore net inflows.
Third, when Treasury yields continue to fall, whether Bitcoin rebounds or continues to weaken.
If the macro environment improves but Bitcoin still lacks buying interest, I will remain cautious.
But if the next round of negative news appears and Bitcoin does not fall further, with funds starting to flow back continuously, I will also change my judgment.
I am increasingly convinced of one truth:
The real bottom is not when everyone thinks it's cheap.
But when bad news can no longer scare away the last batch of holders.
My money can wait. #Netflix growth may slow, advertising business becomes new focus #台积电Q3净利润超预期,盈利创历史新高
TSMC's earnings report is truly explosive.
Revenue reached 1.49 trillion New Taiwan Dollars, up 50.9% year-over-year, with net profit at 763.1 billion, up 68.7%, a record high. The 2nm process already accounts for 8% of wafer revenue, and advanced processes overall make up 79%. This is all driven by AI chip demand.
But guess how the stock price reacted? It barely moved, up just 0.18%. This is a typical case of expectations being fully priced in; good news is already reflected, so no one is chasing it. The market is now focused not on how much was earned this quarter, but whether growth can continue next quarter. Some have pointed out that Q4 revenue will likely increase quarter-over-quarter; AI wafer price hikes are a known factor, but profit margins will face short-term pressure due to 2nm costs, possibly dropping gross margin by one or two points.
What are the implications?
First, AI chip demand is solid and advanced processes are in such high demand they can't keep up. This means hardware costs for miners and AI computing projects won't decrease in the short term. Don't expect price cuts; this boom is far from over.
Second, the market is starting to be more selective about AI valuations. Good performance is expected; anything less than exceeding expectations is seen as disappointing. This sentiment will spread to the crypto space, where AI concept coins will see more severe differentiation—those with real computing power and practical applications will survive, while those just telling stories won't.
My view is simple. This TSMC earnings report proves one thing: the AI hardware sector hasn't collapsed, but investors are starting to focus on profit margins.
What do you think? $BTC $ETH #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点
Overall, Netflix is shifting from "subscription-driven high growth" to a more balanced model of "member growth + pricing + advertising monetization." The advertising business scale is still relatively small (around $50 billion in total revenue), but it is the fastest growing and strategically most important, making it the key focus to watch currently. In the long term, success still depends on whether the content can continuously attract and retain users, and whether advertising technology and inventory quality can support higher monetization.INJ rose about 17%, with trading volume at 9:00 expanding to 2.3 times that of the previous hour, but the close remained below the breakout high.
As of 10:18 Beijing time, OKEx spot price was about $8.80, with 24-hour trading volume around $5.34 million. The full hour trading volume at 9:00 was about $315,000, compared to about $136,000 at 8:00. The highest price at 9:00 was $8.849, closing at $8.703, and the current price is again close to that high.
My judgment is that the volume has indeed expanded, but $8.849 still requires a full hour close to confirm. Focusing only on intraday highs or 24-hour gains can easily overlook the pullback from the high. There is about $84,000 in sell orders 1% above the current price, so slippage should be watched when chasing prices.
I am more focused on the close of the 10:00 hour. If it closes above $8.849 and volume continues to exceed that of 8:00, the current cautious judgment will need adjustment; if it returns near $8.703 again, the volume surge at 9:00 still has not resulted in holding the high.
$INJ On October 1st, I specifically took a screenshot of UniHexa, where the combined 24H trading volume of 4 pairs was only 0.0538 BTC, about $4.49K.
Today I checked again, and the total volume has reached 0.1614 BTC, about $13.12K, nearly three times that of October 1st.
Breaking it down, several pairs have grown:
ORDI rose from 0.0312 BTC to 0.0994 BTC;
DOG rose from 0.0112 BTC to 0.0288 BTC;
UNCOMMON rose from 0.0114 BTC to 0.0255 BTC;
MIM also went from zero volume that day to 0.0077 BTC.
So this growth is not just due to a sudden spike in one coin’s trading; several pairs have started seeing activity, which is worth acknowledging.
To be honest, a daily volume of $13K is still very small for a trading platform, and ORDI alone accounts for more than 60%. The current order book depth, active users, and market-making strength are still far from truly bustling.
There could be many reasons. The Bitcoin ecosystem has indeed been relatively quiet recently, UniHexa is still in Beta, the number of pairs is limited, and many people don’t even know how to start trading there. The product is up and running, but user habits and liquidity still need to be cultivated gradually.
These two charts only show that today is better than October 1st; they cannot yet prove that the trading volume has stabilized and is growing.
$BTC $LAB continue holding; the overall trend is still downward. The dog whales have high control over the market, making it easy for sudden price spikes—better to be cautious.
Long-short ratio: Retail investors are extremely bullish, while large holders are relatively restrained (the biggest hidden risk).
Binance retail long-short ratio is 4.1282, OKX retail long-short ratio is as high as 7.54 (extremely bullish, retail investors are crazily catching falling knives).
For large holders: the number of large holders long-short ratio is 4.711, but the large holders' position long-short ratio is only 1.3912.
Project fundamentals and on-chain data: highly controlled.
From on-chain data, the top 10 holders are still Gate cold wallet (11.6%) and Gnosis Safe multisig (team/investors, totaling over 18%), showing highly concentrated chips.
In the past 7 days, the actual balance changes show MEXC increased by 18.02%, Bitget increased by 13.94%, Gate increased by 12.34%.
The main forces are transferring chips to these small and medium exchanges, combined with the unlocking of 16.23 million tokens in the past two days, the selling pressure signal is extremely clear.
Negative factors:
On October 14, 16.23 million tokens were just unlocked (continuing monthly until December). The trust crisis from the previous hacker attack on the end product still persists. The team’s manipulation history has been repeatedly called out by ZachXBT, and 70.8% of the supply is marked as “Untracked.”
$BTC $ETH #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 0$SOL From the SOL chart combined with liquidation data, it seems the bearish momentum hasn't stopped yet. The current long liquidations are insignificant for SOL's scale, just a few tens of millions.
Without a major long liquidation, the price won't rise; the heavy load makes it impossible to push up.
On the 4-hour chart, the Bollinger Bands are opening downward, and the price is under pressure below the middle band. The previous major downtrend from the 124.95 high hasn't reversed, and this small rebound lacks enough capital support, being suppressed in the 105-106 range.
Although there was brief support near the 100.46 low in the short term, liquidation data shows heavy pressure on longs holding positions. I continue to be bearish; if this low support fails, the price will continue to drop.
$BTC Bitcoin, however, surprises me; it is very resilient, indicating many funds are more optimistic about Bitcoin.
Other coins have broken their structures, but Bitcoin remains strong, firmly holding the 80,000 level, quickly recovering when dipping near 79,700.
From the current view, it likely won't test the downside again soon unless a major event like the bombshell on October 11 last year occurs; otherwise, this structure is hard to break.
$ETH Ethereum has now broken its trendline. I previously said 2350 is Ethereum's last defensive line.
Yesterday it dropped near 2300, shattering all long hopes. Ethereum has seen the most long liquidations, close to $300 million. Market unchanged: The big rally is over, take a break first, don't look for opportunities every day. Playing recklessly during the recovery period only adds wear and drawdown. Good hunters are good defenders, control your hands.
The core point is simple: crypto is currently the cheapest asset globally. Bonds are 350 trillion, stocks 150 trillion, crypto only 2 trillion. Aave PE 9, SOL 12, ETH 17, UNI EBITDA 8, 12 projects have single-digit revenue multiples, 4 are just 1x; S&P 500 PE 25+, AI stocks are even more expensive.
US stocks are not a good hitting zone. Concerns over AI overinvestment, semiconductor sector down seven consecutive days, CoreWeave down 8.68%, AMD down 5.85%, Nvidia down 2.10%. BTC holds 80,000, on October 16 it returned above 82,000, accounting for 59.63%. AI semiconductors are getting hit, BTC stands firm, capital is looking for new directions.
Therefore, when AI profits fall short of expectations, switching from US stocks and gold to on-chain is a good choice. Buy $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, and mainstream crypto coins. Traditional valuations are stretched, capital naturally flows to the lowlands, and crypto is the lowland.PPI exploded. Bitcoin fell below 80,000.
Then what? It climbed back up and even stood above 82,000.
Crypto concept stocks performed even better—Circle rose 9%, Strategy up 5.6%.
Everyone cheered: crypto is finally no longer afraid of macro factors, we've become desensitized.
But on-chain data delivered a harsh truth: you're not desensitized, you're just anesthetized.
First, let's see what happened last night.
US September PPI rose 6.3% year-over-year, the highest in four years. Expected 5.3%, actual 6.3%, completely smashing expectations.
Bitcoin's reaction? A respectful drop first—from around 83,000 all the way down to 79,694 USD, breaking the 80,000 mark. Ethereum was worse, crashing below 2,400 USD.
But what happened next stunned everyone.
Within a few hours, BTC strongly rebounded, surging to a high of 82,520 USD, currently at 82,285 USD. It recovered nearly 2,800 USD from the low point.
Crypto concept stocks surged in sync—MSTR up 5.62%, BMNR up 4.9%, CRCL up 9.33%, SVRN up 14.43%. Circle had the biggest gain, continuing to rise after hours.
Macro negative news hit, but crypto not only didn’t crash, it rose.
So some said: BTC is finally desensitized, crypto is entering an independent market phase.
Don’t rush to celebrate. Let’s look at the on-chain data.
Glassnode’s latest weekly report points out: after BTC broke through the 80,000 resistance, the support liquidity below is significantly weakening.
Buy orders below 80,000 mainly cluster around 78,000 USD. But the key issue is—these buy orders are "passive defensive," not active accumulation. What's the difference? Active accumulation means "I think this is cheap, I want to buy." Passive defense means "I place orders here to prevent liquidation."
One is offense, the other is defense. Defensive money is unreliable.
Once 78,000 is effectively broken, liquidity below will quickly vacuum out. Between 80,000 and 78,000, there’s almost no sufficient buy orders to catch the fall.
Now look at an even harsher number.
In the past 24 hours, the entire market was liquidated by 929 million USD. Long positions accounted for 777 million, with BTC longs liquidated about 172 million USD.
Did you hear that clearly? The underlying driver of this rebound is short covering, not new money entering.
What is short covering? It’s when short sellers are forced to buy back to close positions, pushing prices up. But this buying is one-time—once shorts cover, the buying disappears.
A real trend reversal requires continuous spot buying demand. Glassnode’s exact words: "Without spot buying demand, upward momentum is hard to sustain."
So, is it really desensitized?
Santiment’s data indeed shows Bitcoin’s 30-day rolling correlation with US stocks dropped to a historic low since FTX. Early September even saw an extreme divergence where the S&P 500 hit new highs while BTC independently fell.
From this perspective, BTC is indeed trying to "desensitize."
But what’s the premise of "desensitization"? It’s that you have enough fundamental support to withstand external shocks.
Does BTC have that now?
The US spot Bitcoin ETF saw a net inflow of about 3 billion USD from September 21 to October 6, but after October 7, it turned to a net outflow of about 760 million USD. Institutional capital flow is reversing.
The real market average price is about 78,000 USD—that’s the average holding cost of active investors. If even this level can’t hold, the so-called "desensitization" is a joke.
To be blunt.
Crypto concept stocks are rising, BTC is rebounding, but on-chain liquidity is thinning.
This is not desensitization. This is anesthesia.
PPI exploded, the market was given a painkiller shot—short covering is the medicine, ETF residual heat is the medicine, emotional inertia is the medicine. The effect is still on, so you don’t feel the pain.
But what happens when the medicine wears off?
If the next macro data continues to blow past expectations, if ETF funds continue to outflow, if the passive defensive buy orders at 78,000 are eaten through—whether it hurts or not, you’ll know then.
Today’s rebound does not mean crypto is immune to macro.
It only means the market has completed the first round of emotional digestion of the PPI.
The real test is ahead: the next FOMC meeting, the next CPI data, the next wave of ETF fund flows.
Don’t mistake "holding up" for "getting stronger."
Between these two things lies an entire cycle.
$BTC $ETH $MSTR $SOL Developer Conference is not a pump switch
Solana is holding a developer conference in Shanghai, and CZ posted in support, which many interpreted as a signal to pump SOL. In fact, this is more like an emotional catalyst, not a promise to pump the price.
Essentially: This is a domestic touring developer event, focusing on attracting developers and building the ecosystem. CZ's statement is mutual praise within the community, not a public call to buy, and certainly does not mean pumping the coin price.
Short term: The market may open with a spike, retail investors rush in, meme hype. But the event was announced early, smart money has already positioned; when the event officially takes place and big players celebrate, expectations will be hyped first, then realized, likely causing a rise followed by a fall.
The core still depends on macro factors: US Treasury yields and Federal Reserve rate cut expectations are the heavy burdens on all cryptocurrencies. A single ecosystem news item is unlikely to sustain a major rally.
Conclusion: Ecosystem activity ≠ long-term bull market for the coin price. At most, event-driven short rebounds with weak sustainability, so don't heavily invest chasing it.
Personal opinion, not investment advice.
$SOL #闪迪投资者日后股价大涨,长期目标待验证 September CPI is a bit hot: Core month-on-month +0.3%, higher than the 0.2% expectation; core year-on-year 2.6%, also exceeding the 2.5% expectation. Overall year-on-year 3.7%, also surpassing the 3.6% expectation (。•́︿•̀。).
However, ETF funds are starting to warm up: On October 13, BTC net inflow was $176 million, $ETH net inflow was $24.8 million, and $ETH ended a streak of 10 consecutive days of net outflows. Buyers are stepping in at low levels, indicating that even if there is a further pullback, the depth may be limited, and the probability of falling back into a bear market is low. But during the decline, contract positions increased, shorts are still adding, so the adjustment may not be over. If you want to buy, the 75k-80k range is more comfortable, still a normal pullback in a bull market ( •̀ ω •́ )✧.
Tonight at 20:30, watch retail sales and PPI; PPI consensus month-on-month is about +0.5%. Tomorrow at 11:30 AM, Warsh will have a public dialogue at the IMF annual meeting, a key signal before the FOMC. If the data is also hot, BTC pressure will be hard to relieve.
Current probability of a rate hike in October is about 54%, and at least one hike before December is over 95%. Crude oil rose 9.1% in a single month, heating up costs; if oil doesn't fall, crypto and US stocks will have a hard time taking off directly (╯﹏╰). #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #台积电Q3净利润超预期,盈利创历史新高 表面在庆祝,底层却在悄悄改风险预算。 你看到的是浮盈,还是下一次回撤时的承压点? The founder of Hyperliquid openly stated his ambition this time: in the future, not only will they trade cryptocurrencies, but they also want to enable trading of traditional financial assets like stocks and bonds on-chain. However, he hopes that regulatory constraints will apply to financial institutions operating the market, rather than directly regulating the blockchain itself. The plan is quite clear: they want to be the AWS of Wall Street, but without bearing the full compliance burden of traditional exchanges.
The biggest value of this news for $HYPE is that it opens up a valuation story bigger than just perpetual contracts. Hyperliquid already has real trading demand, but on-chain trading volume does not equal protocol revenue, nor does it mean HYPE holders will receive money. For traditional assets to truly go on-chain, issues like issuance authorization, custody, clearing, and US regulation still need to be resolved.
Currently, HYPE is about $82, up roughly 2% in 24 hours, but still about 16% below the September high of $98. The open interest on contracts is about $2.1 billion, indicating there are many leveraged positions in the market, but this does not prove that Wall Street money has entered yet.
The key points to watch next are: whether US regulation is truly implemented, and whether new trading can bring sustained protocol revenue and buyback burns. If traditional assets gradually go live and trading volume continues to grow, HYPE will have the chance to shift from a derivatives platform token to a financial infrastructure valuation logic; if compliant channels are delayed, then no matter how big the talk is now, it’s still just speculation on the future.Sun Yuchen said something many people don't want to hear.
If quantum computing poses a threat to Bitcoin $BTC within two years, can Bitcoin complete a full network upgrade within that time?
He said: almost impossible. He joined the Bitcoin community back in 2012 and knows very well how slow the technical progress is. The last Bitcoin SegWit upgrade caused two years of community disputes, and in the end, it was not an "upgrade completed" but a "fork"—Bitcoin then gained a sibling $BCH. The Taproot upgrade went relatively smoothly but still took 3 years. Most people in the crypto industry have no idea how slow consensus is reached on the Bitcoin network, and the threat of quantum computing to Bitcoin is seriously underestimated.
No one knows when quantum computing will be able to crack Bitcoin.
But the fact that "Bitcoin upgrades are so slow" doesn't require waiting for quantum computers—it has already played out several times over the past decade.
Do you think this is alarmist, or a real hidden danger? A month ago, everyone was still shouting "AI will change the world."
Now, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index has fallen for seven consecutive days, wiping out $2 trillion in market value.
Even more outrageous—Nvidia, the chip seller, has to step in to guarantee that chip buyers won't default.
This signal is scarier than the crash itself.
The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index has declined for the seventh consecutive trading day, erasing over $2 trillion in market value. Compared to the historical high in June, the drop exceeds 20%, officially entering a technical bear market.
Intel fell 2.80%, Nvidia dropped 1.84%. AMD and Intel even plunged 7% intraday.
South Korea's KOSPI index plunged 7%, SK Hynix fell 11%, Samsung Electronics dropped 9%.
This is not a normal correction. This is capital voting with its feet.
So the question arises—Is AI demand faltering?
Nvidia's latest quarterly data center revenue is $89 billion, and TSMC's Q3 profit grew 69% year-over-year. The fundamentals are not bad.
Then why is it still falling?
Because the market has finally started looking at another sheet—the balance sheet.
CoreWeave, Nvidia's "favorite child," is a company specializing in AI cloud computing power. Its five-year CDS spread soared to 1194.5 basis points, a record high. The implied five-year default probability exceeds 60%.
CDS is bond default insurance. If you buy insurance on a company's bonds and the premium is outrageously high, it means the market believes it is very likely the company won't be able to repay.
What does a 60% default probability mean? Investment-grade companies are usually below 1%. CCC-rated junk bonds are only about 20%-30%.
CoreWeave's bond yields have already surged to 15.6%-16.2%. Bonds with a coupon rate of 9.625% are trading at 78 cents on the dollar in the secondary market.
Even Elon Musk, seeing this number, replied with just one word: "Yikes."
Jensen Huang stepped in to "put out the fire."
He said publicly: "CoreWeave's strength is improving every day, financing costs are actually decreasing, and Nvidia does not need to intervene to rescue."
Did the market buy it? Not at all.
Oracle's CDS spread rose to nearly 300 basis points. SoftBank and Nvidia's own CDS also rose simultaneously.
When the shovel seller has to guarantee that the shovel buyer won't default—this model's fragility is already written in the CDS pricing.
Nvidia invests in CoreWeave → CoreWeave borrows money to buy Nvidia GPUs → Nvidia recognizes revenue → Nvidia's stock price rises → then uses the increased stock price to invest in more computing power companies.
This is a perfect closed loop. As long as borrowing costs are low enough, it can keep spinning.
But now borrowing costs have soared above 15%, and this loop is breaking. CoreWeave's debt exceeded $30 billion at the end of Q2, with free cash flow negative $27 billion in 2026.
It's not that it's unprofitable, but the money it earns is far from enough to cover expenses.
Bitcoin, on the other hand, has become the most resilient.
On October 16, Bitcoin rebounded from an intraday low of $79,789 to $82,331, holding above the $80,000 mark. The total crypto market cap is about $2.78 trillion, up slightly 0.76% in 24 hours.
Interestingly, as AI faith begins to collapse, capital is flowing back to the "oldest" crypto asset.
This may indicate a harsh reality: the market is shifting from "storytelling" to "cash flow."
The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index has fallen seven days straight, evaporating $2 trillion. CoreWeave's default probability exceeds 60%, bond yields approach 16%.
This is not a simple sector rotation. This is the turning point where AI investment logic shifts from "computing power faith" to "debt scrutiny."
In the past two years, the market only looked at GPU shipments and data center construction speed. Now, the market is asking a more fundamental question: Will this money be repaid?
When the GPU seller has to guarantee that the GPU buyer won't default—
The fragility of this model is already written in the CDS pricing.
$NVDA $AMD $BTC Will the dot plot lose influence? After the macro noise cools down, will the market return to fundamentals?
There are reports that the Fed suggests streamlining forward guidance and reducing the weight of the dot plot. If policy communication no longer frequently leaks information, trading based on guessing policy moves will cool off, and the sharp rises and falls triggered by macro news are expected to converge.
Going forward, pricing may focus more on funding conditions, liquidity, and real fundamentals rather than who guesses an official's words first.

My US stock pre-market diary (October 15)
This cold splash from the CPI ended the S&P's streak of 53 consecutive days without a drop over 1% last night. Looking at the pre-market today, the KOSPI has already crashed 7.6%, with SK Hynix and Samsung down 11% and 9.5% respectively.
What is the money doing?
It's very clear in the pre-market. Memory chips continue to get hit, SanDisk fell over 4%, Micron dropped 3.7%. But interestingly, the triple short semiconductor ETF (SOXS) rose nearly 7% pre-market. The money isn't selling semiconductors; it's directly betting on semiconductors to keep falling. On the other side, TLT (20-year US Treasury ETF) rose 1.46% pre-market, money is hiding in bonds.
The core contradiction this time is not "whether to raise interest rates," but "who will pay off AI's debt."
CoreWeave's bond yield has already shot above 15%, the market is pricing it as "won't last five years." This thing is like the first domino; the market suddenly realizes: doing AI requires borrowing money, borrowing is getting more expensive, and those companies leveraging debt to build computing power might collapse first.
Directionally, I lean towards continued adjustment. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index has fallen six days in a row, down nearly 12%. But this time it's not a technical correction; it's money repricing the financing cost of AI infrastructure. After the market closed, the 10-year US Treasury yield fell back to 5.186%, indicating the market doesn't really believe in a rate hike in October, but is trading ahead on the expectation of "high rates staying longer." #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息?
Inflation data has been released, both exceeding market expectations, directly dousing rate cut expectations. The most discussed topic in the market recently is: will the Federal Reserve simply raise rates again within the year?
Here is my judgment: the probability of directly restarting rate hikes is still not high, but the "higher for longer" interest rate tone is firmly established.
Previously, the market was still betting on a rate cut window before the end of the year, but now it has basically priced it out to next year. The longer high interest rates are maintained, the stronger the valuation pressure on risk assets like BTC, making it difficult for bulls to have a large-scale rally in the medium term.
Real-time trading update:
After the data release, BTC failed to rally and turned downward. I positioned a short at 82228.1 with 100x leverage, currently floating a profit of 39.66 USDT, a return of 24.11%.
The logic is straightforward: inflation stickiness exceeded expectations, macro bearish factors landed, bulls lack upward momentum, and the success rate of shorting with the trend is much higher than bottom fishing.
Next operational thoughts:
The short-term bearish trend continues, with support first seen at 81500. If broken, the downside space will further open; resistance is at 83000. If volume increases and it stabilizes above, timely adjustment of strategy is needed.
The rebound is an opportunity to add to short positions. Strictly use stop-loss with high leverage operations and never hold against the trend. The most cautionary investment story is when you think you are buying the future of a company, but in reality, you might just be buying a price set by others.
MarketWatch reported today that on October 15, the Anthropic-related tokens on Hyperliquid dropped about 4%, with an implied valuation of approximately $1.95 trillion and a 24-hour trading volume of about $21 million.
The key point is: these tokens do not represent ownership of shares in Anthropic.
This means you cannot equate them directly with stocks of publicly listed companies. You must first understand the legal rights of the tokens, the price formation mechanism, liquidity, and whether they correspond to any equity or claims on profits.
Many people see AI as a hot sector and directly interpret "high AI company valuation" as "AI tokens are worth buying." The most important step is missing here: what exactly do token holders own?
My judgment is, the hotter the narrative, the more you need to first look at the asset structure, then the price. A $21 million trading volume is also insufficient to prove the market can absorb massive sell-offs on its own.

If a token surges with news from top AI companies but does not grant you any equity, do you think it is an innovative financial product or a speculative game disguised in tech clothing? [Russia is even cracking down on P2P, wanting to get involved in crypto control]
This time, Russia is not simply restricting cryptocurrencies but is preparing to bring the buying and selling gateways back under regulatory control. Starting July 1, 2027, direct crypto transactions between individuals will no longer be allowed; buying and selling must go through approved intermediaries. Even harsher, individuals will not be allowed to transfer coins from their digital accounts to their own non-custodial wallets.
This is not a full ban on crypto in Russia. Since September 2026, a compliant trading system has been under construction locally. Ordinary investors have an annual purchase limit of 300,000 rubles for mainstream cryptocurrencies through a single intermediary, while qualified investors follow a different set of rules. The direction is clear: coins can be traded, but the entry points and fund flows must be controlled.
This may not cause significant short-term selling pressure on $BTC; the real impact is on local P2P merchants, OTC exchanges, and transaction methods relying on personal wallet transfers. If regulatory channels have high fees and poor liquidity, demand may not obediently move there but could instead shift to the gray market.
I think this is Russia fighting for control over crypto trading, not a bearish signal for the global crypto market. The key will be whether compliant platforms can handle the original trading volume; if they can't, the ban might only control the visible entry points."Falling for Three Days, Funding Rate Still Stuck Above Zero: Bulls Talk Tough but Dare Not Add Positions"
Conclusion first: The decline over these three days is not panic selling but more like a slow, dull cut. Bulls haven't surrendered, but they also dare not increase their positions.
In the latest market, BTC is currently around $82,268, with a 24-hour range between $79,800 and $82,634, having once dipped to about $79,694 during the session, very close to the $80,000 mark; ETH is at $2,437, still recovering after losing the $2,400 support; SOL is at $105.32, repeatedly pressured around the $100 level.
What is most intriguing is the funding rate. BTC's funding rate remains hovering above zero, and ETH has not turned negative either. This indicates that bullish positions have not massively capitulated, but the funding rate is clearly below normal levels, meaning there is insufficient willingness for new buying.
From the derivatives structure perspective, the current open interest remains high, but incremental funds are clearly cautious. In the past 24 hours, the total market liquidation volume was about $929 million, with long liquidations around $777 million, and BTC-related long liquidations about $172 million. After high-leverage longs were liquidated, selling pressure on the chart eased somewhat, but rebound momentum is still insufficient, with prices consolidating near $82,000.
On the macro level, US PPI data exceeded expectations, triggering rate hike concerns; the 10-year US Treasury yield rose, putting pressure on risk assets. Meanwhile, spot Bitcoin ETFs have recently seen net outflows, and institutional buying pace has slowed. These two forces combined have led to a market that "can't fall further, can't rise."
Technically, BTC's short-term key level is in the $82,000–$83,000 range. If it can effectively hold above $83,000, the rebound structure will be confirmed; if it falls back again, support levels to watch are around $79,700 and $77,000.
Overall, the current market is in a stalemate of "bulls not dead, but no new inflows." The funding rate stuck above zero shows positions are still holding; but no one dares to add positions, indicating a lack of confidence. This state usually breaks with a directional choice—either a volume breakout confirming a rebound or another dip completing a secondary shakeout.Bitcoin ETFs are seeing outflows, yet BTC is rebounding from lows; this divergence is more worth noting than simply bullish or bearish views.
On October 14, the US spot BTC ETF had a net outflow of about $261 million, signaling weak capital. But ETFs record specific trading days, while the coin price fluctuates throughout the day; they are not settled simultaneously on the same account.
Whether the price will continue to weaken after the bad news is more important to watch. Large redemptions continue, yet BTC holds its support and raises the low point, indicating other buyers are stepping in; if it quickly rallies then falls back to the original range, one bullish candle alone cannot confirm the bearish pressure is fully absorbed.
Whether it can hold steady is more crucial. $BTC🚨🚨🚨 Bitcoin’s Post-Midterm Election Pattern: Will History Repeat in 2026? Looking back at the last three U.S. midterm elections, Bitcoin experienced significant declines before reaching its cycle low: 📉 2014: Bottomed 71 days after the election, dropping 46.7%. 📉 2018: Bottomed 39 days after the election, falling 50.6%. 📉 2022: Reached its low just 1 day after the election, declining 14.9%. 🔥 In each of these three cycles, Bitcoin established a new low around the midterm election period, On October 1st, I specifically took a screenshot of UniHexa, where the combined 24H trading volume of 4 pairs was only 0.0538 BTC, about $4.49K.
Today I checked again, and the total volume has reached 0.1614 BTC, about $13.12K, nearly three times that of October 1st.
Several pairs have grown:
ORDI rose from 0.0312 BTC to 0.0994 BTC;
DOG rose from 0.0112 BTC to 0.0288 BTC;
UNCOMMON rose from 0.0114 BTC to 0.0255 BTC;
MIM also went from zero volume that day to 0.0077 BTC.
To be honest, a daily volume of $13K is still very small for a trading platform, and ORDI alone accounts for more than 60% of one trading pair. The current order book depth, active users, and market-making strength are still far from truly lively.
There could be many reasons. Recently, the Bitcoin ecosystem has indeed been relatively quiet, UniHexa is still in Beta, the number of pairs is small, and many people don’t even know how to start trading there. The product is up and running, but user habits and liquidity still need to be cultivated gradually.
These two charts only show that today is better than October 1st; they cannot yet prove that the volume has stabilized and grown.
My view on UniHexa hasn’t changed: the direction is set, the product is moving, but at this stage, what’s most lacking is people and volume.
Cold start is naturally the hardest phase. $BTC BTC spot just recovered but was drawn away again, institutional buying hesitated.
On October 9, inflows were 21.13 million, and on October 12, outflows were 65.40 million, with this outflow entirely hitting a single product, IBIT, while the other 11 products remained unchanged. Looking back, from October 7-8, a total of 731 million flowed out, and the capital inflow could not hold at all.
ETH was even worse, with 85.40 million flowing out on the same day. The two types of products had a combined single-day outflow of about 151 million.
Redemptions are concentrated in a single product, so it is still not possible to conclude that institutions are broadly reducing positions. But the market's eyes are all on whether IBIT redemptions will continue and whether ETH's capital pressure can be alleviated. Before external uncertainties cool down, whether buying can sustainably recover remains a question mark. Short-term funds fluctuate repeatedly, with intense long-short battles.#奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 Netflix's current value is at a reasonable to slightly low level, allowing for diversified long positionsOpening the chest, what you shouldn't see is flames.
Fragments from the Houthi armed forces grazed the top three floors of the Dammam headquarters—where the cardiac surgery department is located. This is not a myocardial perforation; it's an electrocautery injury to the epicardium: charred scab, pain, but the sinoatrial node is still firing, and blood in the aorta is still being pushed forward. The Saudi Ministry of Energy confirmed zero casualties and no disruption to exports, which is equivalent to bedside ultrasound indicating the ventricular wall motion is still acceptable and stroke volume hasn't collapsed. But you must never step down just because the monitor waveform is still intact; the real lesion lies upstream in the coronary tree.
Brent crude fell 0.9% to 105.69, while WTI crude rose 0.4% to 94.14. This kind of divergence is called a dissection phenomenon in hemodynamics: proximal pressure and distal perfusion start to tell different stories. One index says the tissue is still alive, the other says microcirculation has begun acidotic distress. The market right now is like a patient being pushed into the catheterization lab; the contrast agent hasn't been injected yet, but the family is already arguing outside whether to place a stent.
The Mandeb Strait in the Red Sea is the right coronary artery of this circulation. Saudi Arabia wants to increase pipeline capacity bypassing the Gulf, which is a planned bypass graft—taking the great saphenous vein and sewing it on, theoretically reconstructing collateral circulation. But the bypass itself can spasm, thrombose, or suddenly occlude on the second postoperative day. A new pipeline cannot solve diffuse lesions.
The truly fatal issue is not that a few floors of an office building burned down. The office building is like the atrial trabeculae, which can be repaired or cauterized to stop bleeding. The fatal problem is this: will the conflict advance to oil fields, refineries, and export terminals? Oil fields are myocardium, refineries are the atrioventricular node, export terminals are the aortic valve. Once the valve tears off, the left ventricle will enter cardiac tamponade within minutes, and no amount of positive inotropic drugs can reverse it. Armed forces attacking airports and energy facilities, and the Saudi coalition retaliating by bombing fuel depots in Yemen—this is not a single lesion, this is systemic inflammatory response syndrome; you cut out one infection focus, another abscess has already formed elsewhere.
Look again at that US stock token. It does not track crude oil but the body temperature of risk transmission. The delay in price fluctuations equals the delay of transcutaneous oxygen saturation relative to central venous oxygen: a normal reading does not mean the tissue is not hypoxic. Currently, it resembles myocardial stunning before ischemia-reperfusion; contraction continues, but energy reserves are depleted. Just one more clamp on the aorta could turn stunning into necrosis.
At this moment, I am not looking at Brent's daily chart. I am watching three things: first, the firepower density of air defense positions around Dammam—that is the coronary blood flow reserve of the myocardium; second, the insurance rates for Red Sea shipping—that is the prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time, reflecting whether the coagulation system has been activated; third, the time difference between planning and commissioning in the bypass pipeline announcements—that is the distance from bypass angiography to actual blood flow.
The biggest taboo in the emergency room is mistaking blood pressure recovery for cure. Vasopressors raise the numbers, but the periphery is still mottled, and lactate is still climbing. Today's slight rebound in oil prices is blood pressure pushed up by drugs.
The real indication for opening the chest is the ST segment elevation on the ECG—when the first fragment lands on the separation towers at Abqaiq or Ras Tanura, the market will move directly from the observation room to extracorporeal circulation. #aramcohqattackoilriskFriday, October 16, 2026
Yesterday (October 15), the entire financial market staged a classic "dead cat bounce/short squeeze-induced technical rebound." After the U.S. stock market experienced an opening plunge triggered by CPI data exceeding expectations (falling nearly 2% at one point), late-session buying surged, forcibly pulling the market back into positive territory (the Dow Jones rose over 1.1%, and the S&P 500 turned positive, up 0.3%); cryptocurrencies (BTC) also rebounded, escaping the leverage liquidation crisis.
The core catalyst and truth behind last night's "post-plunge recovery" was the sharp rise and subsequent fall in U.S. Treasury yields (the direct trigger): after the 10-year Treasury yield broke through the extremely dangerous 5.33% level the previous day, it sharply retreated nearly 10 basis points last night to around 5.08% - 5.09%. The temporary easing of selling pressure in the bond market relieved the direct discount rate suppression on high-beta assets such as tech stocks and cryptocurrencies.
Major portfolio adjustments and capital rotation in tech stocks:
Following extreme panic triggered by the CPI data, market sentiment quickly shifted from "secondary inflation" concerns to "valuation squeeze in overbought sectors." Traditional value stocks (Dow Jones components) and some high-cash-flow defensive sectors rebounded strongly, masking the vulnerability of high-valuation AI-related chains like semiconductors.
Cryptocurrency (BTC) followed the rebound
After hitting strong support at the lows, BTC rebounded in tandem with the short covering of highly leveraged shorts across the network and a phase of improved risk appetite in U.S. stocks, achieving a linked recovery That sharp move last night, was it brutal enough?
$BTC pulled back directly from below 80,000 to around 82,500, a 2,500-point V-shaped rebound that wiped out many traders—only they know how many. The group chat was full of “bulls returning quickly,” but now it’s stuck at 82,250, unable to rise or fall. This level is the most frustrating—neither bulls nor bears dare to heavily position themselves, both waiting for the other side to make a mistake first.
But I’ll say this: going long at this level has very poor risk-reward.
First, look at $BTC itself. Since hitting the high of 87,399 on September 21, the price has been locked in a range between 82,500 and 87,500, repeatedly tugging back and forth. 82,500 is the lower boundary of this range and a key observation point repeatedly emphasized by Ali Charts. Last night it dipped below 80,000 but recovered, indicating there is indeed support below, but the question is—how sustainable is the rebound? The rally to 82,500 clearly lacks strength, and failing to hold above 83,500 means any bounce can only be defined as a "technical correction," not a reversal.
What really breaks the camel’s back is the macro environment.
PPI year-over-year surged to 6.3%, the highest since the end of 2022; CPI year-over-year is 3.7%, core CPI 2.6%, both exceeding expectations. Energy prices are the main driver, with gasoline up 20.3% in a single month and diesel up 21%. Cost pressures are spreading from energy to the entire supply chain. Traders’ expectations for at least one rate hike before year-end are approaching 90%, with the probability of an October hike jumping from under 18% to 34%. The Fed just completed its first rate hike in three years last month, and now the market is discussing whether December will see a 50 basis point hike.
Rising rate hike expectations = valuation cuts for risk assets. $BTC is not a safe haven; it is among the most liquidity-sensitive assets.
Now look at the capital flow. $BTC spot ETFs saw a net outflow of $262 million on October 15 alone, with a total net outflow of $151 million this week. ETF buying has been the most important marginal increment for BTC over the past year, and now this channel is tightening.
$ETH and $SOL are even weaker.
$ETH barely pulled back to 2,466 after breaking below 2,400, but the 50-day moving average has already slipped to 2,492, and the price closed below it. 2,650 has turned from support into resistance, and if 2,400 doesn’t hold today, the next target is 2,321. $ETH spot ETFs have had net outflows for 10 consecutive days, totaling about $783 million. Institutional buying is retreating while supply is increasing; the burn rate only covers 2% of new issuance. The problem with $ETH isn’t whether it will fall, but that if it falls, there’s no bottom.
$SOL plunged sharply from 124.95, failing to reclaim 113.4, confirming a short-term bearish structure. The 0.786 Fibonacci retracement near 102 is barely holding, RSI has fallen below 50 but not into oversold territory, indicating more downside room. The $100 mark is a psychological barrier, and the 200-day EMA is at 97.59. If both levels are lost simultaneously, the daily chart structure will deteriorate further.
So, can you short?
My view is: the bias is bearish, but the entry point matters more than direction.
The 82,250 level is awkward. To the upside, failure to hold 83,500 is a false breakout; to the downside, 82,000–82,500 is short-term support, already tested last night. The risk of shorting now is that you might short just above short-term support and get stopped out by a rebound. A more comfortable short entry is to wait for a rebound to around 83,000–83,500 to face resistance, with a stop loss above 84,000 and a target initially at 80,000–79,800. If 82,500 breaks down with volume, no need to wait for a rebound; the 80,000 round number will likely be tested again.
Long positions? Unless you can accept light trial positions near 82,500 and exit unconditionally if it breaks below 82,000, going long here is betting on a sudden positive shift in news. But the current macro narrative—persistent inflation, rising rate hike expectations, ETF outflows—does not support that bet.
To be frank: the most profitable strategy in today’s market is not guessing direction but waiting for structure. Until the 82,500–83,500 range breaks, heavy positions are just providing liquidity to others. Control your hands; that’s better than anything else.

#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 #特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点 #Netflix growth may slow, advertising business becomes new focus On the twelfth move of the opening, Black pressed the queen to b6, and the whole audience was focused on that piece—yet no one noticed Wang Yi's rook still locked in the corner. $56.5 million was withdrawn from a single player, while the other eleven pieces remained completely still; this is today's chessboard.
IBIT's redemption was not a total collapse but a precise pawn structure adjustment. What should really be recorded in the game record is not the $65.4 million figure, but its distribution: all outflows concentrated on a single piece point, while the other eleven positions were like elephants nailed in place, neither capturing nor retreating. This situation in endgame theory is called a lone pawn advance—looking aggressive but actually with a very long supply line, once countered, it must retreat the same way.
Looking back at October 7th and 8th, the $730 million outflow was a large-scale piece exchange. After the exchange, the structure should have simplified and both sides reorganized into a quiet period, but on the 9th only $21 million was replenished, like using a knight to regain half a pawn. Then on the 12th, there was another net outflow. This shows the pawn structure never stabilized; the same type of exchanges repeatedly appeared on the board, rather than a new strategic direction. Without connected pawns in the midgame, no matter how lively the play, it won't lead to a winning advantage.
More worth calculating is the flank. Ethereum lost $85 million, with a combined pressure of $151 million on two fronts, equivalent to the opponent applying simultaneous restraint on the rear wing and center. In chess, the most dangerous situation is never the piece that gets captured, but the line that is restrained and loses a piece if moved. When funds retreat simultaneously in two asset types, the question is no longer who is selling, but who is still willing to step up and buy.
Macro data is the countdown phase of this game. The countdown doesn't improve skill; it only magnifies existing structural flaws. A loose pawn structure means errors come faster under time pressure; a solid structure means the countdown is an opportunity to force the opponent to err first. Whether buying can sustainably recover depends on whether institutions are willing to rebuild connected pawns in the center after inflation data lands, rather than continuing small-scale in-and-out probing.
It must be pointed out, a fact most people don't see during the game: redemption by a single player does not constitute a judgment of overall institutional withdrawal. It's like a grandmaster voluntarily sacrificing half a pawn in the midgame to gain central control—you have to watch his next three moves, not lament the half pawn taken. The eleven unmoved positions themselves are a silent testimony.
The real variable is time control. If redemption happens here but buying fails to rebuild promptly, the game will slide into a rook and pawn endgame—where victory no longer depends on flashy attacks, but on whose pawns stand higher and whose king is closer to the center. Inflation data is the driver pushing the game toward the endgame, and the endgame only rewards those who calculate deeply.
The coldest move in the endgame is often not a check, but quietly moving the rook to the only open file. #btcetfoutflowsreturn$STRK, boasting every day about being the "ZK Rollup ceiling" and the "ultimate Ethereum scaling solution," is actually a big pile of crap.
The airdrop at the beginning of 2024 was hyped up to over $4, but now it has dropped to just a few cents, a decline of nearly 98%. It’s exactly like a has-been internet celebrity propped up only by early hype and big holders unlocking tokens — technically there’s some substance, but the implementation, ecosystem, and tokenomics are disappointing everywhere.
Let’s talk about your "high-performance zero-knowledge proof" trick first. Cairo language and STARK proofs sound high-end, but in reality? The network frequently malfunctions, sequencers have issues, states become inconsistent, and blocks have to be rolled back or services paused. Users see transactions stuck and funds temporarily frozen, while you casually say in official reports that "normal service has been restored."
The tokenomics are a disaster zone. Early contributors and investors hold huge shares, unlocking over 100 million $STRK every month like a faucet flooding the market. Add staking inflation and team reserve releases, and the circulating supply keeps ballooning, with almost no effective burn or buyback mechanisms.
The ecosystem? TVL has been halved twice from its peak, daily active users and real usage remain low for a long time. Airdrop controversies, CEO changes, intensified competition (Base, Arbitrum stealing traffic), your once "Big Four Kings" aura has long faded. Recently, you started hyping narratives about "whether to leave Ethereum, build your own L1, and do quantum resistance," causing the price to briefly jump. #Netflix growth may slow, advertising business becomes new focus Short-term bearish outlook. The current macro suppression (interest rate hike expectations) is the dominant factor, while the bullish logic (analyst sentiment, seasonality) remains an unfulfilled expectation. With weak spot buying and rebounds relying on short covering, prices are more likely to test support downward.
• BTC: If it breaks below 80,000, it may accelerate down to 78,000.
• ETH: 2,400 is the key defense line; if lost, look for 2,300. #Meta巨额AI投入进入回报检验期 #Netflix growth may slow, advertising business becomes new focus $ZEC This wave of ZEC quickly rebounded from the low of 1071, not entirely due to internal funds rescuing themselves; external macro and industry news are influencing sentiment.
The just-released US CPI and PPI data rose again, inflation is rebounding, and market expectations for a Federal Reserve rate cut have been pushed back, with the dollar overall stronger. The macro environment is not friendly to risk assets. The major BTC and ETH markets have not shown strong upward momentum, indicating that this round of ZEC's rise is more about a rebound from oversold conditions and fund speculation, rather than a broad bull market.
However, one catalyst cannot be ignored: Bitwise is promoting the launch of crypto ETP products with more than twenty wealth institutions, and ZEC is included in the related layout expectations. The market has begun to speculate on the potential for institutional capital inflow, attracting some speculative funds for short-term bottom fishing, creating this rapid recovery.
To face reality, it is still just an expectation. The US SEC remains conservative about approving small coin ETPs, and the positive news is only at the story stage, with no real large-scale institutional capital landing.
On one side, US inflation remains high, suppressing the overall crypto market; on the other, ETP expectations bring short-term speculative heat. These two forces pull against each other. This news-driven rebound comes fast, and the cash-out run will also be quick. Do not mistake thematic speculation for a trend reversal. Once subsequent positive news falls through or inflation data again stimulates dollar strength, it is easy to be pushed back to the original state. #台积电Q3净利润超预期,盈利创历史新高 On October 14, that cold front from the shareholder's road crossed the 2 trillion isobar, pushing Anthropic's valuation center all the way down to 1.5 trillion — this isn't an afternoon shower, it's a trapped front passing through, with cold and warm air masses entangled in the same low-pressure trough, and no one can pretend the sky is still clear.
First, let's look at the sounding observations. Third-quarter precipitation totaled 16.8 billion, a 45% positive anomaly quarter-on-quarter; after adjustments, it still squeezed out profits. The dew point rise and improved visibility in cash flow indicate the underlying surface is no longer all dry soil. But the key is the gradient: the jet axis from Q2 has shifted northward, and the high-altitude wind field growth rate has changed from a jet stream to shear, so the convective tower tops no longer rise. In other words, there is still rain at the surface, but the lifting condensation level is sinking, and cloud top brightness temperature is no longer decreasing. The ensemble forecast's downward revision is close to a quarter, essentially re-correcting the initial field — what forecasters fear most is not a model error, but the model consistently biasing to the same side over several runs.
Next, consider moisture and shear. Computing power expenditure is like a conveyor belt getting wetter and wetter, continuously pumping water into the clouds; competition acts as the shear line, the stronger it is, the more it shreds the updrafts. When combined, it either explodes into strong convection or is cut down to just a layer of low clouds. Pricing negotiations are still ongoing, tied to subsequent observations and demand, indicating the front has not fully passed, the probability range is still drifting, and any on-the-hour observation could cause the forecast to change.
Translating this to tokenized risk assets, the logic is straightforward: a downward shift in valuation anchors means the entire pressure field is lowered by one level. The radar echo of risk appetite shifts from yellow to orange, and the convective effective potential energy of volatility continues to accumulate. Those assets previously supported by the upper warm ridge will collapse faster than anyone else when encountering this cold advection. Capital will move to safe havens with clear cash flow and solid underlying surfaces; the resilience of linked assets ultimately depends on whether their foundation is real income or pure expectations — pure expectations rest on sandy ground, and when the wind picks up, dust storms arise.
The subtropical high is still holding on the northern side, so there may be short-term clear windows, but the upper trough bottom is already pressing overhead. These clear windows are mostly a false sense of stability under an inversion layer; the more stable it is, the easier it is to accumulate for the next outbreak. When the valuation anchor retreats from 2 trillion to 1.5 trillion, all upper-level anticyclones maintained by warm moist airflows must recalculate their lifting condensation levels — and on my echo mosaic, the first to collapse is never the most famous cloud cluster. #anthropicipooutlook1.5tLong-term? Talking about the long-term in the current market is honestly a bit of self-torture. Unless you have deep enough pockets to withstand any sudden dips and your entry point is so good you can sleep with your eyes closed, don’t force it.
Let’s start with Bitcoin. $BTC has been steadily dropping from 87,000, repeatedly testing 82,000 but getting sharply pushed back each time, until it finally gave up and broke through 82,000 straight down to the 80,000 level. It did bounce back last night, looking strong, but frankly, that was just short sellers covering and short-term funds chasing the rebound. The real spot buying just didn’t keep up. The money coming in smells like quick in-and-out trades—take a bite and run. Expecting them to hold long-term? Wishful thinking. The ETF side is also quite conflicted; overall net inflow over 30 days, but net outflows in recent trading days, with institutions jumping back and forth and retail investors stuck in the middle struggling.
Now $ETH. The pullback is less than 500 points, and funds are also coming and going like the wind. But honestly, Ethereum’s rebound strength is noticeably better than Bitcoin’s, and the reason is simple—Bitcoin is the territory of old money, while Ethereum is where retail liquidity really clusters. On-chain data is even more interesting: on one side, huge whales are cashing out 52,000 $ETH, while on the other, big players are selling $BTC to buy more $ETH. The big money isn’t united. But don’t get too excited—yesterday the entire network saw $292 million in ETH liquidations, with Binance alone accounting for $157 million, clearly exposing the fragility of high leverage in the derivatives market. $ETH will only have the confidence to follow if $BTC catches up later.
No need to say much about altcoins. When the market rallies, altcoins’ gains are basically all given back during this pullback, with only a very few holding on or even showing strength against the trend. Over 84% of altcoins are still trading below their 200-day moving average, marking the longest downturn since the 2022 bear market. But beneath the surface, there’s movement—ZK rollups, modularity, AI agents, these niche sectors are quietly being funded. If capital rotates later, some altcoins might have a chance to catch up, but the premise is you have to pick the right direction; blindly buying with your eyes closed will only bury you.
Finally, a look at the broader environment. The Korean stock market has been a bloodbath these past two days, with the KOSPI plunging 7.6% in a single day triggering a circuit breaker, and Samsung and SK Hynix suffering severe losses. Behind this is the rising expectation of Fed rate hikes combined with financing pressure on AI infrastructure, causing global tech stocks to come under collective pressure. The crypto market can’t remain unaffected. The upcoming FOMC meeting on October 27-28, U.S. Treasury yields, and the dollar’s movement will be the toughest short-term variables.
In this market, living lightly and following the trend is more important than anything else. Don’t mistake a stop in the decline for a reversal, and don’t use long-term obsession to endure short-term volatility.

Maji Big Brother's position is a market classic: the account funds retraced from 12.25 million USD to 21,800 USD, then re-entered with 250,000 USDT, establishing an ETH long position with 25x leverage, reaching a position size of 7.37 million USD, liquidation price at 2333, with position information fully open and transparent.
Such publicly verifiable large positions are clear targets in the eyes of liquidity hunting funds. If the market tests 2333 on the downside, this forced liquidation of over 7 million USD will become passive selling liquidity.

The biggest fear for Strategy has returned. MSCI has finalized new rules for non-operating companies, and coin-hoarding companies like Strategy and Metaplanet may be kicked out of the index. The final list of affected companies will be announced on November 11. Note, this is a risk of removal, not that they have already been kicked out.
The biggest impact is not that MSCI forbids companies from buying BTC, but that you can hoard coins, yet if a company increasingly resembles a crypto fund, the index may no longer want to give you a seat. Passive index funds may reduce holdings as a result, putting pressure on Strategy's financing and stock liquidity.
Previously, the market worried that removal could trigger passive sell-offs worth billions of dollars. But don't take this estimate as an already occurred outflow; the actual amount sold will depend on the indices included, the scale of tracking funds, and execution arrangements.
In the short term, this will suppress $MSTR's valuation premium, but it may not directly crash BTC. The real risk to guard against is a chain reaction: stock price premium shrinks, financing ability weakens, and the pace of coin buying slows. If the final list has limited impact, this round of panic may be overblown; but until the results are finalized, I won't simply treat MSTR as leveraged BTC.Conclusion first: This is a support signal, but it's not yet at a level where you can confidently buy the dip—the real confirmation is a rebound above $84K. BTC opened yesterday at $81,758, dropped intraday to a low of $79,775 (breaking below $80K), then rallied back to close at $82,315, a single-day gain of +0.68%, with a trading volume of $698 million. This long lower shadow is the most noteworthy aspect today—it indicates genuine buying support around $80K. Looking at the structure: spot price at $82,315, perpetual contracts aligned with no decoupling. Open interest around $2.437 billion; funding rate +0.0040%, slightly positive. The V-shaped price recovery and slightly positive funding rate indicate a warming bullish sentiment, but not an extreme overcrowding. Looking at the position: currently at $82,325, still below the 7-day moving average ($82,786), but above the 60-day moving average ($80,355). The 14-day high is $86,994, and the 14-day low is $79,775 (yesterday's low). In other words, $79,775-$80K is the recently validated support, with resistance at the 7-day moving average $82.8K and 14-day moving average $83.4K. Market cap is $1.65 trillion, ranked number 1. On-chain MVRV Z-Score remains in a neutral to slightly low zone, not overvalued at the top, which underpins today's V-shaped recovery. What about the short-term outlook? In the next 1-2 weeks: pessimistic (30%) with a further break below $8 $BTC $ETH 320,000 people liquidated, 930 million directly lost! This BTC move is a typical fake drop; the real challenge is next week
BTC is now around 82,000, with a total liquidation of 932 million in 24 hours, of which longs alone took 796 million, those rushing to bottom-fish got hit hard. This morning briefly broke below 80,000, then pulled back thanks to short covering, but don’t be fooled by this rebound.
The 80,000-81,500 range is the average cost zone for ETFs; if the close firmly breaks below this range, all ETF positions will turn into losses, triggering a snowball of stop-loss orders.
ETH’s situation is even worse, 2,500 is shaky, the previous support at 2,650 has now turned into resistance, ETF funds keep flowing out, every rebound is an exit opportunity.
SOL is grinding around 102, the 50-day moving average at 107 is a tough ceiling to break, once it breaks below 99, the next target is directly 96.
Key to watch next week’s market: BTC closing above 80,000 is critical, ETH must hold 2,500, SOL’s 99 is the last support. Before the FOMC meeting, try not to leverage to aggressively bet on direction. $ETH The complete downfall process of the mobile mining pioneer Core Foundation and Maple Finance's settlement agreement $CORE 0.015CORE/USDT-50% "Neither party admits fault, but time is running out" 1. Event timeline restoration In early 2025, Core Foundation and Maple Finance collaborated to launch lstBTC, allowing Bitcoin holders to earn yields through the Core chain. Core invested technology, marketing, and substantial subsidies, while Maple's Assets Under Management (AUM) surged from less than $500 million to $2.8 billion. The lstBTC pilot project attracted over $150 million in Bitcoin deposits. However, in mid-2025, Maple was accused of using confidential information obtained during the cooperation to secretly develop a competing product, syrupBTC, violating the 24-month exclusivity clause in their agreement. Core immediately applied for an injunction in the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands, successfully blocking Maple from launching syrupBTC and prohibiting Maple from trading CORE tokens. More troublingly, Maple subsequently claimed it would impair the $150 million Bitcoin deposits, implying it might not be able to fully return users' principal. Core firmly stated that these assets were held in a bankruptcy-remote structure, and Maple had no right to impair them. The fear and greed index jumped overnight from 53 to 63, returning to the "greed" zone.
But don't rush to celebrate — $929 million liquidated across the entire network in 24 hours,
with longs accounting for $777 million, so the foundation of this rebound is actually quite fragile.
Interestingly, Bitcoin's search popularity has dropped to a multi-year low,
but searches for "cryptocurrency buying" are actually increasing.
Retail investors haven't fled; they're just changing direction.
