[Old Leek Observation] US stocks hit new highs while $BTC lags behind
US stocks have hit new highs again.
The S&P 500 rose 0.58% on Tuesday, closing at 7818.95 points.
The Nasdaq rose 0.45%, closing at 27599.79 points.
Both indices reached all-time highs simultaneously.
But there is a very obvious contrast:
US stocks are hitting new highs, but BTC has fallen below $84,000.
AI and tech stocks continue to attract capital, and the decline in US Treasury yields also supports risk assets.
But Crypto has not kept up for now.
This indicates that the current funds are not simply "fully Risk On."
It's more like:
First buy AI tech stocks, then wait for the Fed to give the next direction. Tonight's FOMC meeting minutes may decide whether this divergence continues.#9月FOMC会议纪要公布在即,是否继续加息? #BTC巨鲸抛压减弱,ETF资金连续三周净流入 #OKXNOW:开启全天候市场新时代

Selling pressure concentrated release, continuously breaking below the Bollinger middle band 1310 and psychological level 1300, short-term approaching the lower band 1272.
RSI6 reading 31.8 continues to weaken, MACD green bars expanding, bearish forces still dominating; KDJ three lines bottomed without turning up.

#OKX25BInvestment #BTCWhalePressureEases The market is giving traders a dangerous combination right now: falling prices, rising leverage, and growing confidence that every dip is a buying opportunity. 1️⃣ Leverage is building while price weakens Price continues to struggle, yet open interest remains elevated. That doesn't automatically mean we're forming a bottom. It can also mean leverage is piling up while bulls and bears fight for control. Look at the positioning: ETH long/short sentiment has become heavily skewed toward longs, whil$BNB BNB is purely a pump-and-dump game played by the same group themselves this time. The volume at the 764 level can't keep up, funds are withdrawing, and the market is just picking each other's pockets. The candlesticks are all wicks, washing back and forth; if you don't have some resolve, you simply can't hold. Don't rush to short, be careful of a fake breakout followed by another sweep. Do you think this level is a shakeout or a real sell-off? Anyone on the same page? 👇👇👇ADA at $0.25, are you looking to buy the dip?
ADA dropped from 0.28 back to 0.25, down 8% in 24 hours, down 70% in a year. The RealFi bullish news is still there, but the price has fallen first. Is this a shakeout or has the narrative collapsed? 0.244 is the last defense line; if it breaks, don't hold on stubbornly.
Let's look at the surface first: the bullish news just came out, but the price fell, leaving retail investors confused.
On October 1, RealFi bullish news came out: stablecoins entering institutional credit with a 9% annual yield. On October 3, ADA surged from 0.237 to 0.282, up 19% in 5 days. But today, it dropped 8% in 24 hours, back to 0.25. The 7-day gain is only +2%, and it's down 70% over the year. The candlestick tells you: 0.262 has turned from support into resistance, 0.244 is the launch platform, and 0.237 is the low point of this round. All technical indicators are shouting one thing: the rebound is over, don't chase.
But has the narrative really collapsed?
First: Gains built on leverage have to be paid back sooner or later.
From October 3 to 5, ADA open interest surged 25%. Who was buying? Leveraged funds. Today, BTC and ETH both fell, ADA's volatility was even greater, and stop losses below 0.26 were hit consecutively. This is not a denial of RealFi, but a liquidation of leverage.
Remember: Exhausting bullish news is not bearish; it's the exhaustion of leverage. The real bottom is when no one dares to buy.
Second: RealFi is genuinely bullish, but the market is not buying it now.
Stablecoins entering institutional credit at 9% annual yield sounds attractive. But the problem is no new fund size disclosures and no second institution following up. T. Rowe Price's active ETF allocation was a single event, and it was said yesterday that such a rise is easy to digest. Dijkstra won't come until the end of 2026; TOKEN2049 was just a cameo, not a product launch.
In plain language: The story is good, but the money hasn't arrived. If 0.28 can't be surpassed, it can only return to 0.25.
Third: Macro and BTC are the real drivers; ADA is just a high-beta little brother.
Iran attacked a Hormuz oil tanker, Brent crude at 101.5, the dollar strengthened, 10-year US Treasury yield at 5.31%. BTC dropped from 86600 to 83560, ETH fell below 2600. The Fed minutes will be released tonight. ADA's beta is higher than BTC's; if BTC can't hold 83000, ADA will test 0.237 first; if BTC recovers to 85000, ADA has a chance to revisit 0.27.
Don't focus on ADA's candlesticks; focus on BTC and oil prices. If you can't understand the overall market, why do you think you can catch ADA's bottom?
Bull vs. Bear, judge for yourself:
On one side: RealFi bullish news remains, 0.25 is only slightly more expensive than 0.244 on October 3, buying the "launch position still intact."
On the other side: Leverage is exiting, 0.262 has become supply, down 70% in a year, huge circulation, no scarcity premium.
Key level 0.25, only 0.006 away from the lifeline 0.244.
Resistance above: 0.262 → 0.270-0.274 → 0.282
Support below: 0.249 → 0.244 (launch platform) → 0.237 (this round's low)
Trading strategy (no nonsense):
Aggressive: Around 0.25, try a very light long position, stop loss at 0.242. First target 0.262, second target 0.270. Reduce half at 0.260. No adding before the minutes.
Conservative: Wait for 0.237-0.244, stop loss at 0.230. Better to wait for a rebound above 0.262 before following. Stay out if it doesn't reach.
Breakout: Only consider chasing if volume supports a stable break above 0.282 and a pullback doesn't break 0.270, target 0.30. Not valid now.
Bearish: If the 0.262-0.270 rebound is weak, light short positions on the pullback, stop loss at 0.276, targets 0.249 and 0.237. Don't hold shorts near 0.237.
Position sizing: Single trade risk no more than 2% of total funds, leverage no more than 3x. Positions built yesterday are already being reduced today.
Risk management priority:
If it breaks below 0.237 with volume, reduce positions, next target 0.22.
If the minutes are hawkish or oil prices jump, reduce leverage first.
If BTC breaks below 82600, reduce ADA leverage first.
ADA dropping from 0.28 to 0.25 is a reaction to BTC and oil prices, not a denial of RealFi. What can be done is to defend 0.244 or wait to stand back above 0.262, not to go all-in at 0.30 during the pullback.
0.25 is not a bottom, but a pullback continuation. Don't mistake a pullback for a reversal, don't mistake a rebound for a bull market.
ADA down 70% in a year, are you still waiting to break even? First ask yourself, are you investing or gambling?
$BTC $ETH $ADA #9月FOMC会议纪要公布在即,是否继续加息? This trade is a bit of a laugh and a cry.
I shorted $BTC around 85550, with the stop loss set, but I forgot to set the take profit at 83500.
Just now, I looked back and BTC really dropped to around 83500.
In other words, if I had set the take profit properly at the time, it would have been a complete trade; but I missed the last step myself.
From the chart, this move wasn’t really unexpected. There was consistent resistance around 85500, then it quickly dropped to 83500 with a clear increase in volume, and on the 15-minute chart, it went straight from the high down to near the lower BOLL band.
Now the price has rebounded to around 84200, and I’m actually not in a hurry to chase.
The biggest lesson this time isn’t that I got the direction wrong, but that I got the direction right but failed to follow through.
The easiest thing to overlook in trading is often not the judgment, but the boring details like stop loss and take profit.
So I’m making a note to myself with this trade: next time, I can open positions more slowly, but must set stop loss and take profit first.
Money that can’t be earned isn’t a pity, but when the price clearly reaches the target and you miss out because you forgot to act—that’s truly frustrating.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of "the market moved, but I didn’t catch it" situation?
rephrase $ETH Cross-Market Macro Mapping and Comprehensive Scenario Simulation
Key Conclusion: ETH's recent drop below 2,600 perfectly confirms the logic of "macro high interest rates suppressing risk assets" and "BTC crash linkage." The high 10-year US Treasury yield and pre-market risk aversion in US stocks were the final straw that broke the bulls. Under the baseline scenario, the market will fluctuate widely between 2,500-2,600 to digest the macro bearish factors.
Macro Correlation and Scenario Simulation:
From a global macro perspective, ETH's current 1-hour level plunge is essentially a brutal liquidation of the "macro liquidity tightening" impact on the "local bubble in the crypto market," strongly resonating with BTC's panic selling after breaking below 84,000. The 10-year US Treasury yield hovering around 5.11% pushes the opportunity cost of the non-yielding asset ETH to the extreme. When US stock index futures weakened pre-market, the crypto market, as the most liquidity-sensitive "canary," reacted with a sharp drop first.
Comprehensive Scenario Simulation:
1. Optimistic Scenario (30% probability): Oversold V-shaped reversal. If the Nasdaq rebounds strongly after US market opens and Treasury yields fall, risk appetite will recover. ETH will form a double bottom near 2,550, then launch a violent rebound based on the KDJ's extreme oversold golden cross, retesting 2,600 (VWAP) and 2,634 (Bollinger middle band).
2. Baseline Scenario (50% probability): Low-level oscillation, indicator recovery. Macro data is in a vacuum period, bulls and bears reach a weak balance between 2,500-2,580. ETH will continue to digest the extreme oversold KDJ and weak RSI by exchanging time for space, with volume maintaining a moderate level of 200k-300k ETH, awaiting new macro catalysts.
3. Pessimistic Scenario (20% probability): Macro black swan or chain liquidation. If Treasury yields surge above 5.2% or BTC breaks below 82,000 support, it will trigger a comprehensive sell-off of risk assets. ETH will break the 2,536.59 support and quickly test the macro psychological levels of 2,500 or even 2,450. Breaking below 2,450 will confirm a complete mid-term bearish trend.
Trading Desk Operation Plan (Not Investment Advice):
During the current extreme oversold and bearish trend battle, a "defensive counterattack" strategy is recommended. Aggressive traders can lightly go long near 2,540-2,550 with stop loss below 2,530, targeting 2,600-2,620. Conservative traders should wait for a clear golden cross of KDJ below 20 and price volume to stabilize above VWAP (2,604.07) before entering long positions. Total position size is recommended to be controlled within 5%, with strict stop loss. The market is always right; forecasts are just plans, response is key.

Once floating profit appears, immediately adjust the stop-loss to the cost line to secure a breakeven position. This trade was entered based on signals of repeated resistance at high levels and weakening buying pressure. Leverage is just a trading tool; to trade long-term, the core is to maintain risk control and avoid emotional operations. $CT $DOGE $ETH Volume, VWAP, and Institutional Capital Flow Analysis
Key Conclusion: Volume expanded to 693.09M USDT (270.78k ETH), accompanied by a large bearish candle, confirming the nature of a "volume-driven decline." This suggests that institutional funds engaged in panic selling or passive stop-loss during the breakdown. VWAP (2,604.07) remains high, with intraday capital losses across the board. Under the baseline scenario, after a volume contraction and consolidation, a further downward continuation is highly probable.
Volume and Capital Depth Deduction:
Volume is the core evidence revealing the truth behind the breakdown. From the VOL (USDT) histogram at the bottom of the screenshot, it is evident that during the decline from 07:00 to 16:00 on October 7, there was a notably significant red volume bar. The current 1-hour level transaction amount reached 693.09M USDT (equivalent to 270.78k ETH). In a downtrend, this sustained moderate volume increase with a bearish drift is the most damaging, representing institutional funds orderly and continuously withdrawing rather than retail panic selling.
Considering VWAP14 (2,604.07), the current price of 2,553.00 is far below VWAP, meaning nearly all active buy orders during the day are at a loss. VWAP has become an extremely heavy "resistance line," and any rebound failing to break through VWAP with volume will be an invalid rebound. Looking at the Basis (spread) reported at 2,626.06, which is higher than VWAP, indicates a clear discount structure in the perpetual contract market, reflecting a bearish market sentiment with shorts starting to dominate pricing power.
The microstructure of capital flow shows that a large amount of long positions accumulated during the 2,600-2,700 range was triggered into a chain liquidation after breaking the 2,600 support. AVL (2,559.54) is slightly above the current price, indicating the short-term average price line is attempting to provide support, though its strength is questionable. The current capital conclusion is: this is a "deleveraging" process jointly triggered by macro liquidity tightening and a key technical breakdown. Until there is an extreme "panic volume spike" or a "volume-driven bullish candle" reclaiming VWAP, the capital flow does not support a trend reversal. Traders should closely monitor volume changes around 2,549.83; if volume contracts on a retest without breaking lower, a short-term bottom can be expected. $ETH, 100x short, opened at 2715.47, now 2559.88, floating profit 572%. From a technical perspective, the daily chart closed with a large bearish candle, MACD death cross pointing down, 2715 is exactly the upper edge of the previous dense trading zone acting as strong resistance.
I placed a short at this position, stop loss at 2750. Now it has broken below 2600, with short-term support at 2400. Clear strategy: short at resistance, clear stop loss, excellent risk-reward ratio.
No bottom fishing or guessing the bottom, let profits run. BTC has dropped to 83710, it was still at 85335 last night, and today it directly fell more than 1500 again.
I operated part of my position at 86800, and now it looks like a brilliant move.
I glanced at the order book; there are scattered buy orders between 83500-83800, but they are sparse, while sell orders are piling up. The volume hasn't expanded, so it's not a panic sell-off, but more like the bulls can't hold on and are slowly cutting losses to escape. This wave slid down from 86994 continuously, with supports at 86000, 85500, 85000, 84000 all as fragile as paper, breaking decisively.
I'll mark the key $BTC levels again:
Support: 83200-83500; if broken, look at 82500-82800, and further down is 82000.
Resistance: 84200-84800; if it can't rebound past this, it indicates weakness, so don't rush to call a bull comeback.

Which link is redesigned first? 1/ Many people imagine on-chain integration as a "one-stop solution"—exchanges, exchanges, and market makers. 1/ Many people imagine on-chain integration as a "one-stop solution"—exchanges, exchanges, and "all in one place"—exchanges, and other platforms. Brokerages and clearinghouses have all been replaced by code. But a look at what really happened this year reveals a more subtle truth: the ones truly aggressively engaging in tokenization are these traditional institutions themselves, especially the one most destined to be disrupted—the clearinghouses. Today, let's break down the chain of Broker→Exchange→Custody→ Clearing→Settlement→ Market Maker—whoever is redesigned first is changing their own fate. 2/ The Most Unexpected Player: DTCC didn't sit idly by, but took action itself. DTCC—the core of the U.S. stock and Treasury settlement system, with assets under custody reaching $114 trillion—completed the first batch of tokenized trading of blue-chip stocks, mainstream ETFs, and U.S. Treasury bonds on July 15 this year, and will be fully launched in October. The SEC's letter of non-action last December gave it a three-year regulatory window. The key message here is not that "DTCC is also on-chain," but that DTCC has chosen to use its existing custody and settlement system to absorb tokenization, rather than let an external protocol replace it. The layers of liquidation and custody are being redesigned by the biggest vested interests themselves, not by new players. 3/ The most logically untenable link: ClearingThe "hardness" of a currency is not judged by its value size, but by its issuance discipline. From this perspective, DOGE is "harder" than the US dollar.
After the pandemic, the Federal Reserve opened the floodgates, with M2 rising from $15 trillion to over $21 trillion, an expansion of more than 40% in two years. The purchasing power of the dollar was diluted, and US inflation once hit a forty-year high. The euro and yen followed similar paths: the ECB expanded its balance sheet by buying bonds, and the Bank of Japan controlled and suppressed interest rates through yield curve control, with major fiat currencies collectively moving toward easing.
DOGE took a different path. The rules are written into the code: a fixed annual issuance of 5 billion coins, no interest rate meetings, no easing impulses during election years, and no politician can change this rule. The circulating supply expands year by year, but the proportion of new issuance decreases annually, with the current annual inflation rate around 3.2%. Holders can calculate the total supply ten years from now today.
The issuance volume of fiat depends on votes in meeting rooms, while DOGE's issuance depends on mathematics. The US dollar is backed by national credit, DOGE is backed by transparency and predictability. In terms of monetary discipline alone, $DOGE's "hardness" has already surpassed the US dollar, euro, and yen. That morning dump was brutal—about $400M liquidated in one hour, mostly longs. #GlamsterdamOnSepolia #USCryptoTaxFilingOct15 This round of $BTC short selling has been even more decisive than expected. After opening shorts near 86290, the price has been pushed down all the way to around 83000, with position floating profits approaching 3.7 times. This is no longer a normal pullback; the 4-hour chart shows consecutive large bearish candles that have directly broken through the previous 85000–86000 consolidation zone, making the short-selling momentum very clear.
The short-term cycle is also weak, with the price consistently below several moving averages. The MACD green bars continue to expand, indicating that the downward momentum has not yet been fully released. However, the KDJ has already entered a low position, and a new low of 83018 was just made near 83000. Continuing to chase shorts here requires caution against a sudden rebound.
I am more inclined to take profits on existing positions first. If 83000 is broken again, there is room for further downside; if the price quickly recovers above 84000, then we need to start guarding against a short-term correction. $ETH $ZEC #9月FOMC会议纪要公布在即,是否继续加息? $BTC fell from 87,000 to below 84,000, why?
Just got off the plane, the position already looks a bit ugly.
Summarized some reasons.
Don't just look at how much it fell, but more importantly, why it fell. This round mainly has triple pressure superimposed:
① Macro suppression
The US dollar strengthens, US Treasury yields rise, combined with high oil prices, risk assets are generally under pressure, and funds tend to be cautious.
② Technical structure weakening
Multiple attempts to break above 87,000 failed to hold, after breaking below 85,000, the 84,000 support was also lost, volume increased simultaneously, and the rebound to 84,200 was again resisted.
③ Leverage accelerates the decline
Short-term RSI has entered the oversold zone, but MACD is still bearish, indicating oversold does not mean the decline has stopped; the bearish momentum still needs time to digest.
Key levels
Watch 83,200—83,500 below, further down to 82,500.
Resistance above is at 84,500—85,000.
Operationally, don't rush to bottom-fish; wait for volume expansion and a stop in the decline on the 15-minute level plus a pullback confirmation. If support appears near 83,000, consider light long positions, with defense at 82,000 and targets above at 84,000—85,000.
Wait for structural confirmation before discussing a rebound.

Bitcoin is trading back and forth near $84,000, with $85,000 still a short-term barrier that bulls find hard to surpass. The previous surge was quickly retraced, indicating that sell orders in this area have not yet been absorbed. The difference between $84,000 and $85,000 is just over a thousand dollars, but it determines whether the rebound can continue—if it fails to hold above, weak consolidation remains the main theme.
ETH is performing weaker, with $2,600 directly pressured by bears. ZEC has temporary buy support near $1,300, but its high volatility remains unchanged; short-term resistance to decline should not be directly interpreted as a reversal.
The previous rise left many floating profit positions; if the support below is broken, profit-taking and forced liquidations may resonate, accelerating the downside. The current key observation level is $83,000: if it holds, weak oscillation continues; if broken, short-term correction space opens.
On the news front, large holders' willingness to reduce positions has decreased, ETFs have seen net inflows for three consecutive weeks, institutions like Strategy are still buying, and Winklevoss-related entities have also submitted a ZEC spot ETF application. Medium- to long-term capital support exists, but the short-term is still decided by the $83,000–$85,000 range battle. Until BTC firmly stands above $85,000, the short-term outlook remains bearish.

When the vault accumulates enough funds, it will automatically buy UNI through the Firepit contract and send it to the burn address for permanent There are always brothers discussing the operation strategy of $SKY. I opened a short position at 0.09625 with 20x leverage, currently floating profit is 350.75%. Many people trading altcoins like to max out leverage to take a big shot, which is a big taboo. Even with 20x leverage, a sudden spike can quickly liquidate the position.
For this type of coin, the priority is not to chase profits but to control risk. The stop loss was pre-set at 0.0978 when opening the position, locking in the loss for a single trade in advance. The position size is only 10%, so even if the market moves against it, the account won't be severely damaged.
As the floating profit expands, I directly move the stop loss to the entry cost. Every previous rebound failed to reclaim the previous high, and the lows keep moving down, indicating the bears are still in control.
However, there was a clear support around 1618, the 1-hour KDJ is starting to turn up, and the MACD green bars are shrinking, so a short-term bounce could happen at any time. Therefore, chasing shorts at this position is no longer as cost-effective as before.
I’m now more inclined to hold the existing profits and observe. If the rebound can’t break through 1645–1660, there’s still room for further downside; if it stabilizes above 1660 again, we need to be cautious that this downturn might enter a recovery phase first. $BTC $ETH #9月FOMC会议纪要公布在即,是否继续加息? Don't trust those who analyze the 15-minute candlestick charts!
Looking at the 4-hour and daily charts, the trend has been consistently downward.
We're playing the long game; as long as you manage your position size well, profits will eventually come.
On the candlestick chart, $ZEC has dropped from 1697 straight down to 1271, bounced back to 1384, then got pushed down again to 1321. Each high is lower than the last, all moving averages are diverging downward, and the MACD remains below the zero line.
This is not a bottom formation; it's just a pause in the downtrend.
Those shouting "reversal" on the 15-minute chart have long been stuck halfway down the mountain.
Looking at the futures data, retail long positions are desperately increasing, while short positions are becoming more concentrated.
Grayscale's Zcash ETF continues to bleed out, large on-chain transfers are frequent, and smart money is using the rebounds to sell off.
These are all signs of capital withdrawal.
My short position entered at 1486, now floating with 110% profit. I haven't exited at all because the downtrend is far from over.
If the previous low at 1271 breaks, 1250 and 1200 are natural next targets.
Manage your position size well; don't get scared off by short-term fluctuations.
Hold your long-term short positions steady.

#September FOMC minutes are about to be released, will there be further rate hikes?
rephrase From 158% to 217%, $ETH is still grinding down in this wave.
The short position around 2614.2 hasn't moved, now the mark price is 2557.35. The previous rally looked fierce, but as long as the entry position isn't broken, there's no need for me to chase short-term fluctuations back and forth.
Now the profit buffer is quite thick, so even if there is a rebound later, the room to manage it is much larger than for those chasing shorts. $ETH $BTC While watching the market today, I noticed $HYPE repeatedly testing the 93.3 to 93.5 range, with several consecutive 15-minute candlesticks showing long upper shadows, clearly indicating heavy selling pressure above.
Combined with the weakening of BTC and ETH, there's a high probability that altcoins are being pumped up here for distribution. So I placed a short order at 93.314 with a stop loss set above 93.5.
Currently, the floating profit is 255%, with a mark price of 88.554. The core logic behind this trade is the confluence of previous high resistance, volume exhaustion, and the overall market environment. Only when these three factors resonate do I take action. If the stop loss isn't hit, hold on and let the profits run. $ETH $BTC #9月FOMC会议纪要公布在即,是否继续加息? #OKX completes strategic financing with a valuation of $25 billion
OKX's valuation in this round remains unchanged from the previous round, and the amount raised was not disclosed for the second time. $OKB
▪️ Pre-money valuation of $25 billion, with four new investors joining; the official statement did not disclose how much was raised or the stake each took, only stating this is an "extension" of the previous round
▪️ The previous round was on March 5, invested by the NYSE parent company, with the same approach of only giving valuation without terms; media reported about $200 million — based on $25 billion valuation, less than 1% equity exchanged for a board seat
▪️ The buyer wrote in the announcement: this equity is not expected to affect its performance for the year
▪️ Over seven months, stablecoin settlements, institutional collateral, crude oil contracts have been launched one by one, and the joint venture has moved from announcement to regulatory filing — valuation unchanged
▪️ The four new shareholders are all parties it is already paying: two issuers of settlement coins, one institutional counterparty, and one custodian bank
The disagreement is not about whether the $25 billion valuation is accurate, but that the consideration in this round is not money — it is four board seats.
The direction sets the price for the list: what is sold is the entry ticket, not equity. The condition to open is that the next round brings in a pure financial investor without cooperation; it becomes invalid if these shareholders start using their status to negotiate matters originally discussed at market price.🚨 Leverage Got Flushed

It's RWA.
The tokenized stock trading volume breaking through $4.4 billion indicates that traditional assets going on-chain are gradually shifting from "storytelling" to "actual trading."
If this trend continues to expand, the logic of public chain competition will also change:

The real importance lies in assets, liquidity, and users.
Whether SOL can become an important trading infrastructure for RWA might be more worth watching than short-term price fluctuations.
The next round of public chain narratives may have RWA as one of the core battlegrounds

From a technical perspective, SOL encountered significant resistance around $125, with a daily MACD death cross and RSI below 70, indicating short-term momentum is weak, but the overall structure remains bullish. At this position, it looks more like "accumulating strength" rather than "peaking."
On the fundamentals side, Solana network activity is off the charts, with daily active addresses increasing 300% year-over-year, and ecosystem projects like Jupiter DEX continuing to lead in trading volume. More importantly, the Alpenglow upgrade is about to be launched, aiming to reduce transaction confirmation time from 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds. Additionally, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange just launched the PanDu Solana ETF (code 2831). Although the scale is still small, it means a new channel for traditional capital has opened, which is a positive sentiment factor.
On the macro level, expectations for a Fed rate hike in October have cooled, and weak non-farm payroll data has eased market concerns, leading to a rebound in overall risk appetite for crypto assets. As a highly elastic public chain representative, SOL often benefits from this liquidity dividend.
Short-term traders: Don't chase highs; consider light long positions after a pullback to the 115–116 range, with stop loss below 113;

@OKX星球 #robinhood increases Bitcoin holdings by $25 million
[Old Leek Observation]
Robinhood has started putting $BTC on its own balance sheet.
Company executives confirmed today: Robinhood has purchased $25 million worth of Bitcoin.
The amount is actually not large. Robinhood itself admits that for a company with a market value of about $100 billion, this sum will not change the company's financial situation.
But the signal is very clear:
Robinhood is no longer satisfied with just "selling crypto trading services." It has started allocating its own money to BTC. More importantly, its crypto business continues to expand:
Robinhood Chain has launched, with TVL exceeding $1 billion, and it is preparing to launch crypto perpetual contracts for U.S. users next.
Broker → Crypto trading platform → Holding BTC itself.
Robinhood is gradually binding itself more deeply with Crypto.$BTC Volume, VWAP, and Institutional Capital Flow Analysis
Key Conclusion: Volume expanded to 354.99M USDT (4.2k BTC), accompanied by a large bearish candle, confirming the nature of a "volume-driven decline." This suggests institutional capital engaged in panic selling or passive stop-loss during the breakdown. The VWAP (83,980.3) remains high, with intraday capital losses across the board. Under the baseline scenario, after a volume contraction and consolidation, a further downward continuation is highly probable.
Volume and Capital Depth Deduction:
Volume is the core evidence revealing the truth behind the breakdown. From the VOL (USDT) histogram at the bottom of the screenshot, it is evident that during the decline from 07:00 to 16:00 on October 7, there was a very significant red volume spike. The current 1-hour level transaction amount reached 354.99M USDT (equivalent to 4.2k BTC). In a downtrend, this sustained moderate volume increase with a gradual decline is the most damaging, representing institutional capital orderly and continuously withdrawing rather than retail panic selling.
Considering VWAP14 (83,980.3), the current price of 83,327.7 is far below VWAP, meaning almost all active buy orders during the day are at a loss. VWAP has become an extremely heavy "resistance line," and any rebound failing to break above VWAP with volume will be an invalid rebound. Looking at the Basis (spread) reported at 84,493.0, which is higher than VWAP, indicates a clear discount structure in the perpetual contract market, reflecting bearish market sentiment with shorts starting to dominate pricing power.
The microstructure of capital flow shows that a large amount of long positions accumulated during the 84,000-86,000 range consolidation triggered a chain liquidation after breaking the 84,000 support. AVL (83,345.6) is slightly above the current price, indicating the short-term average price line is attempting to provide support, but its strength is questionable. The current capital conclusion is: this is a "deleveraging" process triggered jointly by macro liquidity tightening and key technical breakdown. Until there is an extreme "panic volume spike" or a "volume-driven bullish candle" reclaiming VWAP, the capital flow does not support a trend reversal. Traders should closely monitor volume changes around 83,200; if volume contracts on a pullback without breaking below, a short-term bottom can be expected.

This wasn’t an isolated incident; it’s among the hardest hit when risk appetite contracts.
But there are two details in the K-line chart that are more worth noting than the drop itself. The 4H candle at 16:00: the open at 0.1042 was the highest of the day, then it was slammed down to 0.0967 with volume releasing chips, and closed pulling back to 0.1005 — bulls thought it held.
The next candle at 20:00: it opened directly lower from 0.1005, hit a low of 0.0953, and closed at 0.0977, stuck below 0.10.
A classic fake recovery then breakdown: the first time it broke below 0.10, some bought the dip, but after waiting one 4H candle, the price returned below the threshold. 0.10 turned from support into resistance, and every subsequent rebound is pushed back down by the trapped positions in that high-volume K-line.
Context: BTC -3.29%, ETH -5.50%, median breadth -5.92%. MINA already fell 19% yesterday, then another 23% today — consecutive down days with volume, this kind of structure rarely bottoms in one go.
The sign that the washout is over is low-volume sideways trading, not high-volume decline. We are still in the high-volume phase.
0.10 has already been broken. Do you think MINA will drop another level? $MINA $BTC Price Action and Micro Trend Structure In-Depth Analysis
Key Conclusion: BTC is currently quoted at 83,327.7, down -2.74%, in a typical phase of "accelerated bottom chasing after a false breakout." After encountering selling pressure above the previous high of 86,000, the price consecutively broke through key integer levels at 85,000 and 84,000, reaching a low of 83,200.3. The current candlestick features a very long lower shadow, indicating aggressive bottom-fishing funds around 83,200. Under the baseline scenario, the market is entering a recovery period following extreme panic, with short-term oversold rebound demand, but the resistance at 84,000 has become a formidable barrier.
Price Action and Structure Analysis:
From the hourly candlestick chart timeline, between 22:00 on October 6 and 16:00 on October 7, the market experienced an extremely brutal "bull stampede" event. Previously, bullish funds attempted to establish a defense above 86,000, but this was short-lived. As macro risk-off sentiment intensified, bears launched a devastating counterattack. Multiple consecutive large-bodied red candles pushed the price straight down from the highs to 83,200.3. This "high volume long bearish candle with no resistance" price action is known in trading desk terminology as a "Liquidity Sweep." The main funds exploited the panic triggered by breaking the key technical support at 85,000, triggering massive long stop-loss orders and leveraged liquidations, completing a ruthless chip exchange at the lows.
The current price of 83,327.7 is at an extremely dangerous pivot point. Looking upward, 83,847.4 (SAR) and 83,980.3 (VWAP14) form a very heavy intraday resistance network; looking downward, 83,200.3 (intraday low) and 82,852.6 (lower Bollinger Band) form a critical lifeline. This "resistance near, support far" asymmetric structure results in a very low risk-reward ratio for short-term longs. Overall, the price action shows characteristics of "bull defense collapse and bear pursuit." Without macro catalysts, bulls are unlikely to reclaim the psychological 84,000 level in one go. Traders should closely monitor the 83,200 level; if broken, the price will likely return to a downtrend channel to test 82,000 or even lower. At this stage, right-side trading (shorting after breaking 83,000 or going long after breaking 84,000) offers a higher margin of safety. Brent crude is at 101 USD, the dollar is strengthening, the 10-year US Treasury yield has returned to around 5.3%, Houthi forces attacked Saudi airports, oil tankers were hit one after another, oil prices surged, and risk assets took the hit first. BTC once plunged to around 83,840, wiping out over 360 million in orders within 10 minutes, with more than 100,000 liquidations across the market in 24 hours; ETH fell below 2600 to around 2610, ZEC hovered near 1323, showing more resilience than ETH.
The problem is, the minutes haven't been released yet, but the market already dropped. The minutes to be released at 2 AM tonight record the September 15–16 meeting, when the rate hike to 3.75%–4.00% was unanimously voted 12 to 0, and 16 officials called for another hike within the year; however, the 29,000 nonfarm payroll number came out after the meeting, so the minutes are inherently lagging. Meanwhile, today a regional Fed president turned hawkish, saying inflation is picking up again and the tool is to keep raising rates, as not acting would damage credibility.
CME is currently pricing about a 79.5% chance of no change in October and about a 68% chance of a rate hike in December. The market has already dropped this much; if the minutes are hawkish, once BTC breaks 83,000 it could head to 80,000; if the wording is softer, there might be room for recovery. I don't dare to buy ETH now, but I'll hold onto my long position in ZEC for the time being.
BTC ETH $ZEC #FedMinutes #Bitcoin #CrudeOil #FuturesTrading 🔥Understanding CORE Price: The Market is a Mirror of Fundamentals
Since CORE fell from its historical high, it has been in a long-term downtrend channel.
Each rebound peak continues to decline, and after the rebound ends, it is easy to hit new stage lows again.
Even if BTC enters a bull market, $CORE is unlikely to have an independent upward trend. Once BTC pulls back, its decline often far exceeds BTC's.
Short-term emotional recovery rebounds may occasionally occur, but there is a massive amount of trapped positions piled up above, and incremental funds are seriously insufficient. Market liquidity continues to shrink, and a small amount of selling pressure can lead to a significant price drop.
The underlying problems are clear:
Verification nodes continue to decline, ecosystem projects gradually dry up, and large holders are constantly exiting.
The 81-year long-cycle tokens continue to be released, inflationary selling pressure exists long-term, and on-chain fee income cannot support new chips. The grand BTCFi narrative has yet to materialize into stable business revenue.
Without real business and incremental funds to support it, no matter how glamorous the narrative, it cannot sustain long-term prices.
⚠️Risk Reminder: The above is only personal opinion sharing. Virtual currencies are not protected by domestic laws, carry extremely high risks, and do not constitute any investment advice. Today's sharp sell-off is just right to test whether the position size is solid enough.
$BTC dropped from around 86600 to the 83400 level, ETH fell nearly 5%, SOL dropped to 116–117, DOGE also plunged to around 0.089, with over 110,000 liquidations in 24 hours, and high-leverage long positions were heavily wiped out.
My three isolated 20X positions now face completely different pressures:
BTC long entered at 84171, forced liquidation at 80324. As long as the 83000 level is not effectively broken downward, the structure remains intact. The upside targets are first 84600–85200, then 86000.
SOL long at 118.29, forced liquidation at 113. Now 116–117 is already close to the warning zone; if it rebounds to around 118–120, reduce positions first, do not hold stubbornly.
DOGE short at 0.09014, now near 0.089 which is close to the target, forced liquidation at 0.09399. If it continues to fall, lock in some profits first; consider reducing positions if it rebounds above 0.091.
In this market, the two worst mistakes are: first, adding more as the price falls; second, treating stop-losses as a belief. Keep position size under 5%, use isolated margin, stop-losses, and take profits in batches—this is far more important than shouting market direction.
BTC ETH SOL DOGE #ContractTrading #HighLeverage #PositionManagement
The above is personal opinion and does not constitute investment advice. High leverage carries extremely high risk; position sizing and stop-losses must be prioritized.BTC experienced a sharp drop today, falling directly from 85,300 to 83,500 within 20 minutes. The bulls were liquidated by $83 million, which is 10 times the amount of the shorts. It is now fluctuating around 83,300. This drop clearly cooled market sentiment; the greed index fell from a high level to 70. Although it is still in the greed zone, the marginal enthusiasm has diminished.
The 87K resistance has held for almost three weeks, with three attempts to break through all pushed back. Each rally turned into a selling window, making the short-term pattern quite clear. What really matters is not the price itself, but the divergence signal in ETF funds—Bitcoin ETFs saw a net inflow of $119 million yesterday against the trend, while Ethereum ETFs have had outflows for six consecutive days, totaling over $400 million. This indicates that institutional funds are not withdrawing but reallocating internally; BTC’s relative appeal remains, but overall risk appetite is suppressed.
The 10-year US Treasury yield has returned to around 5.33%, and the 30-year is high at 5.7%. With such high risk-free returns, Bitcoin is naturally at a disadvantage. The FOMC minutes are crucial; if the wording is dovish and yields ease, BTC will have a chance to retest 87K.
My personal judgment: 82,500 is the dividing line between bulls and bears in this move. Holding it means continued consolidation; breaking it means we need to reconsider the 60,000–80,000 range box. $BTC $ETH $XAUT #9月FOMC会议纪要公布在即,是否继续加息? NMR at $16, do you still dare to chase it?
Yesterday it shot up from 11.8 to 19.75 in one spike, hitting a 24-hour high near $20.6, then today it directly dropped back to the 15–16 range. This is not value discovery; it’s a pulse move right after Upbit launched the KRW trading pair.
More importantly: the circulating market cap is only $160–170 million, but the 24-hour trading volume surged to $70–95 million, with a turnover rate close to or even exceeding 75%–98%. This volume-to-market-cap ratio indicates intense chip rotation—it's clear who is buying and who is selling.
Looking at the chart, NMR was consolidating sideways at 9–10 at the end of September, spiked to 15.5 on September 28, then again spiked to 18.4–20.6 on October 6, with two long upper shadows within two weeks. This is not a trend breakout; it’s a liquidity event.
Trading such a small-cap coin with high leverage is most feared for "looking strong, large slippage, and sharp spikes." Chasing longs can easily get trapped by pulses, and chasing shorts might get caught by another surge from Korean market sentiment.
