H Trader
đš $1.1B HAS ENTERED $BTC & $ETH â SO WHY IS PRICE STILL STUCK? đ
Crypto is showing an interesting disconnect right now.
Institutional ETF demand is improving, but price action remains surprisingly hesitant.
đ Weekly ETF inflows:
đ $BTC â ~$853.5M
đ” $ETH â ~$244.9M
Thatâs roughly $1.1B combined flowing into the two largest crypto assets.
Yet $BTC is still struggling around the mid-$60K range instead of breaking higher with conviction.
So where is the buying pressure going?
đŠ ETF demand could be getting absorbed by existing sellers.
đ Traders may be taking profits near resistance.
â ïž Derivatives positioning could also be offsetting some of the spot demand.
Thatâs why Iâm not treating ETF flows as a standalone bullish signal.
The real test comes if the inflows continue.
Imagine:
đŠ ETF buying stays strong
đ Distribution starts fading
đșđž CPI supports risk assets
đ§ Liquidity conditions improve
If demand keeps arriving while available supply becomes tighter, the market could eventually make a much faster move than the current price action suggests.
But thereâs also a warning sign.
If ETF inflows begin slowing while $BTC repeatedly fails at resistance, it could indicate that institutional demand still isnât strong enough to overcome selling pressure.
đ One strong week can change sentiment.
Several consecutive weeks can change market structure.
$1.1B has arrived.
Now the question is simple:
đ„ Will the next wave of inflows finally move the price?
