Recently, many BTC traders have been feeling something strange: money is clearly flowing in, so why can't BTC seem to rise? ETFs have capital inflows, institutions are allocating, and market sentiment hasn't completely collapsed. According to previous patterns, this situation should have triggered a rally by now. But now it's different. The biggest change in the BTC market may not be "no one is buying," but rather "the sellers have changed." In the past, the logic behind BTC rising was actually very simple. Retail investors rushed in. Institutions hadn't entered yet. Everyone saw the price rising, FOMO grew stronger, and then they kept chasing. So the price pattern formed as: rise → FOMO → buying → further rise. This is a typical emotional bull market. But now, the market is slowly entering another phase. After ETFs and institutional funds entered, the BTC buying structure changed. Previously, retail investors chased the rally. Now, more and more it is: institutions buying on dips, long-term capital allocation, and arbitrage funds hedging. Sounds healthy. But problems arise. This money doesn't necessarily push BTC straight up to the sky. Why? Because institutions are not retail investors. Retail investors might go all-in when BTC rises 5%. Institutions might instead start risk control when BTC rises 5%. They might even buy spot while hedging with futures. So seeing capital inflows into ETFs doesn't mean all that money has turned into "pure long buying pressure." This is where many traders are most prone to misjudgment: capital inflow ≠ price will definitely rise. More SpaceX's project is getting more and more interesting. Nvidia 13F revealed it is SpaceX's second-largest holding, with equity valued at 21 billion; Harvard's $2.2 billion and the University of California's $1 billion have all come in. Institutions crowding together for a stock that hasn't fully circulated yet sounds nice, but don't forget the unlocking calendar is still lined up later. The smaller the circulating market and the tighter the crowding, the fiercer the stamping on the day of the lock-up lift. $BTC Beyond that, the short-selling and backlash of this pre-IPO narrative is well understood by those who understand. Let's walk and see.
#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap #BTCETFsVsLeverage $BTC IS SITTING ON THE LAST SUPPORT.
The structure is getting weaker.
We already have a clear lower high, and $BTC is now holding the same long-term trendline that acted as major support before.
Lose this level and the chart gets ugly fast.
Break support → new lows become the main scenario.
This is the line bulls absolutely need to defend.ETF buying reversed, BTC leveraged positions rebounded, beware of market turning risks
The most dangerous signal for BTC right now is not price volatility, but a severe divergence in capital structure.
Spot ETF buying has stalled, institutional funds are clearly cautious and withdrawing; however, on-exchange leveraged positions are rising against the trend, hitting a new phase high.
In simple terms: institutions are pulling out, retail leverage is ramping up wildly. Looking at crypto market history, this kind of capital misalignment has never been a bullish sign; rather, it usually corresponds to sharp short-term spikes and washouts.
We must distinguish the nature of two types of capital: ETF inflows are long-term slow money, valuing trends, fundamentals, and sustainability; leverage buildup is short-term fast money, driven by sentiment, speculation, and breakout bets.
Now slow money hesitates and stalls without follow-through, while fast money blindly adds leverage. The only outcome is concentrated liquidation of high-leverage short-term funds, leading to a rapid market washout.
Based on this core logic, I have halved my BTC long positions to avoid this round of structural risk, not greedily speculating on uncertain breakouts.
$BTC BTC Key Range Precise Interpretation
• 65000: Absolute lifeline
This is the last core support for bulls. Once effectively broken, the consolidation pattern is completely broken, downside opens up, directly testing 63000 support.
• 66000: Typical bull trap
Strong resistance at 66000 above. Currently, without ETF institutional buying support, any breakout driven purely by on-exchange leveraged funds is 100% a false breakout and bull trap. Chasing highs is very likely to get trapped.
The market is caught in extreme speculative divergence:
Either on-exchange leveraged funds succeed in breaking through 66000 with volume and start an uptrend;
Or leveraged funds face concentrated liquidations, causing a quick spike down, testing 63000 or even lower.
Overall trading approach: do not chase highs, do not lightly bottom-fish, hold the 65000 lifeline, wait for clear market capital direction. At the end of consolidation, a turning point can come at any time.
This is purely personal market logic analysis and does not constitute investment advice. Market volatility is intense; strictly control position risk
#BTC #CryptoMarket #CapitalAnalysis #交易之声:你的经验值得被听到 $BTC $ETH Brothers, today we're talking about a very practical topic: where exactly is the capital in the crypto world?
As you may have noticed, in this bull market, only BTC hit an all-time high, ETH barely approached its previous high, and most of the remaining coins performed poorly.
Many counterfeit brands hyped themselves up when they first emerged, claiming to surpass Ethereum, but once the hype faded, they gradually faded away.
The 2017 surge of all coins and the chance to double in a single day is likely to be gone forever.
The fundamental reason is that the market capital structure has completely changed.
Now, with a large influx of institutional funds, institutions are only willing to allocate to leading assets like BTC and ETH, pursuing stability and compliance, and avoiding all sorts of knockoffs. New funds are firmly absorbed by Bitcoin, making it difficult to spread to smaller coins.
At the same time, more and more tokens are available on the market, old projects are continuously unlocked, new projects keep launching, and funds are infinitely diluted.
In the past, the tide rose high; now, the strong get stronger.
For example, BTC, ETH, SOL, OKB, as long as you're not heavily invested at extreme highs, there's always a chance to break even if you hold them long-term.
But for most knockoffs, once you enter at a historic high, you may never get a breakthrough in your lifetime. #消费动能转弱, September policy remains constrained by inflation. #标普盈利超预期, why is Wall Street only looking at 7,894 points? ETF Flows Reversing, BTC Leverage Rising
Weekend markets are quiet, but Monday could bring the volatility.
ETH ETF flows weakened, while futures open interest climbed back toward $49B with positive funding. That means spot demand is fading as leverage rebuilds.
If oil jumps Monday, inflation expectations and Treasury yields could rise, putting short-term pressure on BTC. Another round of ETF outflows could turn leveraged longs into liquidation fuel
No bullish confirmation yet
#BTCETFsVsLeverageMany people ask me why I don't increase my holdings on weekends. The answer is simple: Weekend liquidity is thin, the cost of inserting needles is much higher than on weekdays, and the most feared by high-leverage legs is pointless needles. My current expression is to be neutral, but net shorting does not mean full position and reckless movement—the direction is right, the entry point is another, don't mix these two. $BTC Both the binary data have been implemented, and now it's pure timing. The first rule for timing is not to give chips during garbage hours.
#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap #BTCETFsVsLeverage 📊 $APR Contract Liquidation Express (August 15)
According to liquidation data, the whale played a textbook-level "short-term bear trap, mid-to-long-term aggressive bull trap" harvesting strategy on APR, switching directions decisively, with cumulative liquidations exceeding $2.41 million.
Time Total Liquidations Long Liquidations Short Liquidations
1 hour $10,100 $4,310.23 $5,773.59
4 hours $149,800 $56,600 $93,200
12 hours $767,100 $459,300 $307,800
24 hours $2,418,300 $1,763,300 $655,000
From $APR liquidation data, in 1 hour short liquidations crushed longs, shorts were 1.34 times longs, a slight short squeeze unfolded with volume only $10,100, shorts briefly dominant; in 4 hours shorts continued to crush longs, shorts were 1.65 times longs, short squeeze intensity mildly increased, liquidation volume jumped from $10,100 to $149,800—shorts controlled the short-term market continuously but not extremely, a typical small-volume bear trap; at 12 hours the direction completely reversed, long liquidations crushed shorts, longs were 1.49 times shorts, the whale completed a fierce turn from short squeeze to bull trap, liquidation volume soared to $767,100; at 24 hours longs continued to crush shorts, long liquidations $1,763,300 vs. shorts $655,000, longs were 2.69 times shorts—the whale completed a perfect harvesting path of "bear trap → full bull trap" on APR, short-term small-volume short squeeze confused everyone, from 12 hours longs took over the game directly, at 24 hours harvested with nearly 3 times intensity, cumulative liquidations exceeded $2.41 million. A textbook case of "first feed, then kill." Everyone control your positions well, don’t get harvested back and forth.
⚠️ Risk Warning: APR short-term short squeeze (1H/4H) and mid-to-long-term bull trap (12H/24H) form a sharp direction switch, switching is very decisive; 24-hour liquidation volume accounts for 95% of the daily total, highly concentrated. Leverage is recommended to be compressed to within 3x, do not blindly bottom-fish, strictly control positions and wait for clear direction.
🔥 Market Indicator | August 15
Today's three hot topics point to the same theme: macro signals are split, the market is undergoing a "data conflict" pricing reconstruction—consumption is retreating, earnings are surging, leverage is gambling.
📉 Consumption Momentum Weakens: Rate Hike Probability Plummets, but Inflation Remains a "Tightening Spell"
US consumption continuously signals cooling. July retail sales fell 0.6% month-on-month, far below the expected 0.1% growth, the largest drop in 14 months; University of Michigan August consumer sentiment index preliminary dropped from 55.2 to 51.0, the first decline in three months. Consumer anxiety about economic prospects is turning into actual spending contraction.
But inflation stickiness still firmly locks policy space. One-year inflation expectations rose from 4.2% to 4.3%—consumers reduce spending while expecting prices to keep rising, a typical "stagflation expectation" self-reinforcing.
CME data shows September rate hike probability dropped sharply from 75% in late July to about 33%. But this is not a "rate cut prelude," rather an awkward wait due to "rate hike impotence"—no move, not because it's enough, but because they dare not move.
📈 S&P Earnings Exceed Expectations: Why Does Wall Street Only Look at 7894 Points?
US Q2 earnings season delivered impressive results. S&P 500 constituents’ Q2 earnings grew 31% year-on-year, far exceeding early-year expectations; over 90% of companies have reported. Wall Street strategists have raised the S&P 500 year-end average target to 7894 points.
But what does 7894 points mean? Only about 1% upside from this week's record high. Earnings growth of 31%, but target price only allows 1% upside—this is not conservative, but cautious. Full-year earnings growth expectations have been raised from 15% at the start of the year to 27%, but valuation expansion space is fully priced in; for the index to hit new highs, it requires continuous "outperformance" fulfillment, not steady "meeting expectations."
📊 ETF Buying Reversal: BTC Leverage Positions Are Rebuilding
Bitcoin ETF fund flows are highly volatile. From August 3 to 7, US spot BTC and ETH ETFs had a combined net inflow of about $1.1 billion, with Bitcoin ETFs accounting for $865 million. But from August 10 to 14, Bitcoin ETFs had a net outflow of about $329 million—the buying came fast and went fast.
More noteworthy is leverage. CryptoQuant data shows on-chain market leverage ratio fell from a high of 0.5 to about 0.3 but remains above pre-ETF launch levels. Futures market leveraged longs are rapidly rebuilding positions. Glassnode warns if Bitcoin falls below $58,500, leveraged positions may trigger forced liquidations, increasing market volatility.
Buying reversal and leverage buildup—this is not a trend confirmation signal but a precursor to intensified bull-bear battles.
💎 Summary
Three things outline the same picture: consumption retreats, earnings surge, leverage gambles—the macro data's "stagflation" signals, corporate earnings "outperformance" fulfillment, and crypto market "leverage" rebuilding are intertwined in the same time window. No rate cuts, no daring hikes, earnings rising, leverage building—the market is pricing the second half of 2026 in the most divided way. #消费动能转弱,9月政策仍受通胀制约
#标普盈利超预期,华尔街为何仅看7894点
#ETF买盘反转,BTC杠杆仓位回升 Guys, $BTC is very likely to turn completely bearish, and many people haven't taken this signal seriously.
CPI and PPI data both show cooling inflation, and the market expects the Fed not to raise interest rates. This is clearly positive for the macro, but spot ETFs have seen net capital outflows for two consecutive days. Fidelity and ARKB are leading redemptions, and even IBIT is divesting.
Here's a key point: this is still just the expectation stage, not the September interest rate meeting. Normal expectations are a volatile upward trend, with no rally during the expectation phase, and the market is already very weak.
Previously, the market was sideways for a long time, supported solely by expectations of no rate hikes, but now this support is weakening.
That's how the market works: upwards require sustained buying, while declines need no reason. Without positive news, funds will keep shifting, with continuous declines. Once negative news hits, it quickly drops.
Here's the bottom line for operations:
Don't just buy the bottom at 63,000; Only by holding the 62,000 level on volume can small positions test the long position.
Based on the current capital structure, I am more optimistic about the market and directly test 60,000. #消费动能转弱, September policy remains constrained by inflation. #标普盈利超预期, why is Wall Street only looking at 7,894 points? US debt interest has reached 1.37 trillion, and the US Treasury is struggling a bit 😂
Here comes a somewhat surreal figure: in the past twelve months, the interest expense on US national debt has surged to 1.37 trillion USD, setting a new historical record.
At the current pace of spending, interest payments will soon surpass Social Security, becoming the largest expenditure in the US federal budget.
Simply put, the interest on borrowed money is about to exceed the amount spent on retirement benefits.
The root cause is the previously sustained high interest rates. As the debt pile grows larger, the interest bill rises accordingly, directly maxing out fiscal pressure.
The Federal Reserve is now in a dilemma. Maintaining high interest rates means huge annual interest payments will continue to squeeze the budget; cutting rates abruptly risks inflation making a comeback. Both options are hot potatoes.
This issue isn’t about an immediate explosion, but rather a slowly brewing macroeconomic risk.
The risk won’t erupt overnight, but many major market moves have their seeds planted in such inconspicuous data.
#消费动能转弱,9月政策仍受通胀制约 #标普盈利超预期,华尔街为何仅看7894点 #ETF买盘反转,BTC杠杆仓位回升 First, clarify a key fact: the "Niulai" mentioned currently on-chain/in the crypto circle is not a self-built DEX (decentralized exchange), but a Meme coin running on BNB Chain, mainly traded on PancakeSwap V2/V3 and MEXC Meme+.
If you want to ask about "Niulai's performance/market structure on DEX," here is a breakdown by DEX dimension:
1. What it is: Meme coin, not a DEX protocol
• Full name: Domestic animated film "Niulai" same-name meme coin, issued on BSC chain
• Main contract (recorded by MEXC): 0xBEEA1D618e533a387D941F58a7d4c9b7bD377777
• Issuer: anonymous, no whitepaper, no official website, no team disclosure, no association statement from the film copyright holder
• The same issuing address also issued supporting meme coins like "Xiong Zou," a typical sentiment-driven token
2. DEX market data (mainly PancakeSwap V2)
As of intraday 2026-08-16 (GMGN/DexPaprika data):
• Market cap: about $19–23 million (early morning peak broke $26 million, ATH about $29 million)
• 24h volume: about $13–31 million, very high turnover
• Liquidity pools: Niulai/USDT, Niulai/BNB, main pool liquidity about $650k–$1.68 million level (varies by aggregator)
• Tax/fee: about 0% (or very low) buy/sell, no buyback burn mechanism, pure transfer tax model
• Holdings: early addresses bought 19.1 million tokens for $120, floating profit about $200k; chips highly concentrated in a few early wallets
3. Essence of DEX trading mechanism
It is the standard BSC Meme gameplay, not an innovative DEX model:
• Uses PancakeSwap's AMM constant product pool (x*y=k)
• No own order book, no LP incentives, no platform token dividends
• Price fully driven by pool buy/sell orders and social heat
• "DEX analysis" equals "analyzing its chips/slippage/liquidity withdrawal risk in PancakeSwap pools"
4. Security and risk points (DEX perspective)
• Rug pull risk: anonymous token + unlocked pools require caution; if LP is not locked or admin has permissions, pool can be drained anytime
• Same-name fake coins: two "Niulai" tokens exist on BSC with a 500x market cap difference; choosing the wrong contract means total loss
• Thin liquidity: million-level pools can be dumped 5–10% by sell orders of hundreds of thousands; large holders' selling causes waterfall drops
• Heat dependency: token price tied to film "Niulai" Weibo/Douyin secondary creation heat; film cooling off = narrative dying
• CEX listing double-edged sword: MEXC Meme+ listed, short-term liquidity expansion but also facilitates whales hedging and dumping on CEX
5. Summary in one sentence
"Niulai" on DEX = BSC on-chain sentiment Meme + PancakeSwap standard AMM pool + film meme traffic-driven, no DEX product innovation; analyzing its 'DEX' essence is analyzing a highly volatile, anonymous, thinly pooled meme coin market. Why is SOL still so "hot"? Institutions and on-chain activities are quietly adding drama to $SOL
Don't be fooled by today's price—SOL is pretending to be dead around 75 on the surface, but underneath, a lot of catalysts are stacking up:
ETF side: Bitwise plans to make the Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) into on-chain tokenized shares via the Superstate channel. Although it still needs regulatory approval, this is a way to bring "compliant US stock products" onto Solana, boosting institutional narratives.
Mainnet upgrade: In mid-August, the mainnet will push for 350ms blocks and Alpenglow consensus layer revamp, with the ultimate goal of reducing confirmation times to 100–150ms; meanwhile, if the SGP-0003 proposal passes, daily burn will increase from about $47,000 to $650,000, reigniting the deflation story.
On-chain undercurrents: TVL is about $4.81 billion, down only 0.5%; on-chain stablecoins at $63.3 billion act as "dry powder"; but DEX 24h volume dropped to $1.6 billion, PumpSwap down 31%, indicating retail meme hype is fading, while RWA/liquid staking are taking over.
Right now, SOL is in a "price cold, structure and narrative hot" mismatch phase. This stage is prone to two scenarios—either institutions buy first and price lags behind to catch up; or after the weekend, long leverage gets liquidated causing a deep dip before re-entry $SOL The storage trio's gains seem to be losing momentum for many; what do you guys think about setting up short positions?
SanDisk $SNDK has been rising 📈 for so many days, just about one step away from the previous small high point at $1687, currently around $1660. I'm planning to set up short positions near $1680 and just waiting to enter. What do you guys think?
I feel it has already risen by 63% in the short term, which is a high return. The main players might be cashing out. Meanwhile, SK Hynix and Samsung are expanding production, and Micron is following suit. Storage chips might not maintain high growth later on.
Also, Micron $MU and SK Hynix $SKHYNIX haven't kept up with SanDisk's recent gains. The other two haven't risen much, seeming like pure sentiment-driven speculation, unlike SanDisk's positive catalysts. If the market trend turns downward, SanDisk might fall sharply.
So, I'm planning to try short positions, with a stop loss if it breaks through $1720. I think it's worth a shot.
What do you guys think? Should we jump on this wave?Broadcom's single-day capital withdrawal triggered a follow-the-leader exit, with the core conflict centered on the $370 billion AI debt risk suppressing institutional risk appetite, and the tug-of-war between the key technical support level at $145.
Market facts show that $AVGO dipped intraday to $148.50 on August 15, closing down 5.9% at $150.20. The UAE sovereign wealth fund fully exited, cooling sentiment and turning it into actual position liquidation.
In terms of driving factors, institutional risk aversion to Broadcom's accumulated $370 billion priority debt risk by 2029 ranks first. This debt expectation suppresses overall market risk appetite, prompting risk-averse funds to prioritize reducing related risk exposure.
The trigger for the bullish scenario is the price holding the $145 support and strongly recovering above the $150.20 level with high volume. If this condition is met, it indicates that selling pressure has been absorbed by buyers, easing selling pressure and prompting short-term shorts to exit, thereby temporarily slowing the downward pace.
The trigger for the bearish scenario is a daily close below the $145 support level. Once broken, institutional deleveraging and stampede effects will amplify, opening a downward channel that will directly guide the price to retest the $135 level; aggressive short positions can gradually take profits below $140.
The invalidation signal for the bullish scenario is a volume-light decline breaking below $145, while the invalidation signal for the bearish scenario is a rapid high-volume recovery above $150.20 with a stable close.
The most important variables to watch in the next 7 days are the strength of chip absorption at the $145 support level and the short covering behavior when the price dips below $140.
#闪迪投资者日后股价大涨,长期目标待验证 #标普盈利超预期,华尔街为何仅看7894点 #OpenAI与Anthropic估值竞赛升温Why do I still believe the Bitcoin rebound is not over yet?
Although $BTC's recent performance has been weak, from the perspective of volume-price relationship, I think there is no need to be overly pessimistic for now:
Compared to the bearish candles during the decline from 7.22 to 7.31, the bearish candles during the decline from 8.9 to 8.14 are shorter;
More importantly, the maximum volume of bearish candles during 8.9–8.14 is even lower than the minimum volume of bearish candles during 7.22–7.31.
This indicates that the current active selling pressure is significantly weaker than during the 7.22-7.31 decline, so the probability of entering a new downtrend in the short term is relatively low.
Personally, I think there are three main possible scenarios for Bitcoin's subsequent movement:
Scenario 1: Bitcoin finds support at short-term support level 1 (62270), continues to rebound and test the STH-RP, with the rebound likely occurring in late August;
Scenario 2: Bitcoin continues to dip, finds support at short-term support level 2 (61300), then rebounds to test the STH-RP, with the rebound likely ending in September;
Scenario 3: The rebound has ended, and Bitcoin breaks down effectively below short-term support level 2, entering a new downtrend.
Considering contract market liquidity, there is currently significant liquidation liquidity below at 61,450–62,200 and above at 65,500–67,300.
Therefore, I currently lean towards:
Scenario 2 > Scenario 1 > Scenario 3
That is:
First dip to clear lower liquidity → stabilize → then rebound to test upper liquidity.
Of course, if BTC subsequently breaks below 61,300 with increased volume, the above judgment needs to be reassessed.
The above analysis is for reference only and does not constitute investment advice
#Bitcoin #BTC"8/16 Why Has BTC Fallen While U.S. Stocks Have Risen These Days?" 》
Many people lost their mindset. In fact, the underlying macro logic is very clear, mainly caused by three chain steps:
1. US-Japan arbitrage base
Global institutions have long borrowed extremely low-interest yen, converted it into US dollars to buy US Treasuries, core US stock assets, and BTC for leverage.
Japan is also the largest overseas holder of U.S. Treasuries, and the two countries have a natural alignment in exchange rates and bond stability.
2. The appreciation of the yen triggers forced liquidations
Joint intervention by the US and Japan boosted the yen, and the Bank of Japan signaled a rate hike, causing the yen to appreciate rapidly.
This has dealt arbitrage institutions the double blow of "exchange rate losses + soaring borrowing costs," forcing them to sell risk assets to deleverage and repay yen debt.
3. US stocks supported by earnings reports, BTC becomes the "number one ATM"
US tech giants are supported by strong AI performance and earnings fundamentals;
BTC, on the other hand, has no independent catalyst and can be cashed out 24×/7, with excellent liquidity.
When institutions face margin calls in the US or forex markets, BTC is the first to cash out.
Summary: This is not a deterioration of BTC's own fundamentals, but a short-term liquidity pump triggered by US-Japan foreign exchange intervention.
Once the yen arbitrage is unwinding and the pressure is cleared out, the market will eventually return to the main trend. The overall subsequent transmission logic is:
US-Japan coordinated intervention → FIMA expansion → Japan avoided direct sell-off of US Treasuries, US Treasuries and US stocks stabilized → Arbitrage trading deleveraged → Fed rate cut expectations resumed to release liquidity→ BTC as a highly resilient asset is leading recovery. $BTC#AI押注受挫,华尔街交易巨头月亏150亿美元
I believe Jane Street's $15 billion loss in July is not primarily due to an AI valuation bubble, but rather the exposure of institutional leverage vulnerabilities during liquidity contraction.
This judgment is based on two aspects: first, the loss structure—Situational Awareness fund and concentrated tech stock exposure suffered losses, indicating the risk was not due to failure of diversification but resonance from crowded themes plus leverage stacking; second, a net profit of 40 billion this year proves the company's risk control system has not collapsed, but the huge monthly loss has triggered a market re-pricing of "too big to fail" institutions.
The loss occurred during the July tech stock pullback window, coinciding with the Fed's accelerated balance sheet reduction and rising US Treasury yields, causing high-beta assets to face double pressure. More critically, as a market maker, Jane Street's position shrinkage directly reduces market liquidity supply, creating a negative feedback loop of "decline → deleveraging → liquidity exhaustion → further decline."
Current market risk lies not in AI itself, but in institutions amplifying the AI narrative with leverage, transmitting volatility from individual stocks to the systemic level. If tech stocks continue to adjust, the real amplifier is not retail panic but the chain reaction triggered by these "smart money" forced liquidations.
The destructive power of the AI theme is not in valuation but in becoming a vehicle for institutional leverage. No need to pile up data; just pointing out the loss structure plus liquidity mechanism suffices to explain.
@OKX星球 $BTC **BTC, $63,100, four negative factors failed to break below $60K, market is quietly hardening**
MicroStrategy sold 1,690 BTC yesterday to cash out $108 million—Saylor has already started selling, but BTC hasn't budged. Adding to that, the SEC vote was canceled, Cold Card was stolen $100 million, and Trezor data leaks were all negative factors, yet the price still didn't break $62K.
Santiment data: Market sentiment hits its worst record, with the entire internet shouting "Crypto is dead." But whales (10-10K BTC) have quietly accumulated shares amid panic, marking the first time since April. MVRV has returned to negative territory, historically representing a long-term bottom zone.
ETF funds are still flowing out, spot volume shrinking, but the $60K-$62K bottom is getting stronger. Only after $65K did I go bigger. Fell below $62K→$60K→$58.5K.
Next week is packed with catalysts: 8/19 White House Crypto Meeting, 8/20 CFTC, 8/26 PCE.
Direction: **Watching and leaning bearish**, but bottom signals are accumulating. The biggest positive is that the negative news doesn't fall.
#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap #BTCETFsVsLeverage Here are my feelings about the current $BTC market and the possible mid-term trend:
1. Currently, the characteristics of the late bear market for Bitcoin are very obvious: low volatility, low topic interest, and a clear decrease in participants (retail investors) and capital;
Although this makes those in the market uncomfortable, it is actually a good thing. Looking back at history, every bear market bottom for Bitcoin has experienced such an extremely boring period.
Looking back at the last bear bottom (end of 2022), Bitcoin's price below 20,000 stayed sideways from early November for two months until early January when the market started moving. This was also a period of extremely low volatility to the point of being dead.
2. In chart 2, the three short-term moving averages on the daily level (EMA21, MA30, MA60) have completely flattened and converged. The most likely scenario is that the price will first test the longer moving averages (MA120, MA200), then continue downward to find the bottom. Actually, whether it breaks the previous low or not is no longer very significant;
I judge that without particularly negative news (such as the FTX collapse), even if it breaks 57, it won't drop much further;
The reason is: since Bitcoin is already consolidating sideways at this level to test patience, it indicates that the chip prices are not easy to push down further. A key consideration for the main funds is whether, if they really spend money to push the price down, can they buy it back? Will others buy it?
The best approach is to maintain the sideways consolidation, shake out the weak hands, and then move upward together with the consensus built with the diamond hands. Bitcoin ETF Buy and Sell Real-Time Data on August 26 at 14:32
1. Divergence in Core Leading ETF Order Book Transactions
BlackRock IBIT showed the highest intraday trading activity today, with real-time transactions reaching $412 million, buy orders concentrated in the discount range, and many institutional limit buy orders; Fidelity FBTC had intraday transactions of $187 million, with sporadic large sell orders mostly from short-term institutional profit-taking; Grayscale $GBTC continues to experience persistent selling pressure, with frequent large sell orders, making it the main source of sell orders in the entire market. Other small and medium ETFs had quiet intraday trading with few large orders, mainly scattered retail orders.
2. Market Estimated Fund Flows (Intraday Snapshot, Not Final Closing Data)
The market estimates a slight net inflow of about $41.2 million into spot Bitcoin ETFs during the session. Funds mainly flowed into the two leading products, IBIT and FBTC, while Grayscale GBTC recorded a continuous net outflow of about $27.8 million. A large amount of old position funds are still withdrawing from Grayscale products, representing internal fund reallocation.
3. Interpretation of Fund Behavior Signals
Currently, institutions are not engaging in frantic buying; large buy orders are mostly placed at lower levels to support prices, with few actively sweeping at high prices; sell orders are mostly short-term profit-taking, with no panic-driven large sell-offs yet. Most institutional funds remain cautious, waiting for the market to choose a direction. Relying solely on the current ETF buying strength is insufficient to drive BTC into a new trend.

From the $XAU liquidation data, 1-hour bear liquidations crushed bulls, wiping out longs entirely, initiating a textbook short squeeze with $579 in liquidations; at 4 hours, bears continued to dominate, bulls still wiped out, short squeeze intensity exploded like a nuclear blast, liquidations jumped from $579 to $7,676; at 12 hours, bears still dominated, bear liquidations were 8.4 times that of bulls, short squeeze momentum remained strong, liquidations soared to $18,700; at 24 hours, bears continued to dominate with $52,200 in liquidations versus $24,400 for bulls, bears were 2.14 times bulls — the bear whales completed a comprehensive short squeeze on XAU across all timeframes, with four time dimensions highly aligned, bears continuously harvesting, total liquidations surpassing $76,700. This is a textbook-level one-sided short squeeze, bears controlled the entire process, bulls were completely wiped out at 1-hour and 4-hour marks. Everyone should manage positions carefully to avoid being harvested back and forth.
⚠️ Risk Warning: Bear liquidations on all XAU cycles continue to crush bulls with highly consistent direction, but after bulls were wiped out at 4 hours, the bear-to-bull liquidation ratio narrowed from 8.4x at 12H/24H to 2.14x, indicating significant short squeeze momentum exhaustion. Beware of potential directional reversal risk; 24-hour liquidations account for 93% of the daily total, showing extreme concentration. Leverage is recommended to be compressed below 3x; do not blindly short, strictly control positions and wait for clearer direction.

Today's three hot topics point to the same theme: macro signals are fragmented, and the market is undergoing a "data clash" pricing reconstruction — consumption is retreating, earnings are surging, leverage is gambling.
📉 Consumption Momentum Weakens: Rate Hike Probability Plummets, but Inflation Remains a "Tightening Spell"
US consumption continues to show cooling signals. July retail sales fell 0.6% month-over-month, far below the expected 0.1% growth, marking the largest drop in 14 months; the University of Michigan's preliminary August consumer sentiment index dropped sharply from 55.2 to 51.0, the first decline in three months. Consumer anxiety about the economic outlook is translating into actual spending contraction.
However, inflation stickiness still tightly restricts policy space. One-year inflation expectations rose from 4.2% to 4.3% — consumers are cutting spending while expecting prices to keep rising, a typical "stagflation expectation" self-reinforcing.
CME data shows September rate hike probability has dropped sharply from 75% in late July to about 33%. But this is not a "rate cut prelude," rather an awkward wait due to "rate hike impotence" — no action not because it's enough, but because of fear to act.
📈 S&P Earnings Exceed Expectations: Why Does Wall Street Only See 7894 Points?
US Q2 earnings season delivered impressive results. S&P 500 constituent Q2 earnings grew 31% year-over-year, far exceeding early-year expectations; over 90% of companies have reported. Wall Street strategists have raised the S&P 500 year-end average target to 7894 points.
But what does 7894 points mean? It offers only about 1% upside from this week's record high. Earnings growth of 31%, yet target price allows only 1% upside — this is not conservatism but caution. Full-year earnings growth expectations have been raised from 15% at the start of the year to 27%, but valuation expansion space is fully priced in. For the index to reach new highs, "outperformance" must continue to be realized, not just "meeting expectations" steadily.
But from August 10 to 14, Bitcoin ETFs saw a net outflow of about $329 million — buying came fast and left fast.
More noteworthy is leverage. CryptoQuant data shows on-chain market leverage ratio fell from a high of 0.5 to about 0.3 but remains above pre-ETF launch levels. Futures market leveraged longs are rapidly rebuilding positions. Glassnode warns that if Bitcoin falls below $58,500, leveraged positions may trigger forced liquidations, increasing market volatility.
Buying reversal and leverage buildup — this is not a trend confirmation signal but a precursor to intensified bull-bear battles.

#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap #BTCETFsVsLeverage #S&P Earnings Exceed Expectations, So Why Is Wall Street Only Looking at 7894 Points
I'm Cige. The S&P 500 earnings exceeded expectations, but Wall Street only set a target price of 7894 points. These numbers just don't add up when put together.
S&P 500 Q2 earnings grew 31% year-over-year, higher than the previous expectation of 23%, and the full-year earnings growth forecast was raised from 15% at the start of the year to 27%. Over 90% of component stocks have already reported earnings. Earnings growth outpaced the index increase, and the forward 12-month P/E ratio dropped from about 26 times at the start of the year to less than 22 times. Earnings are accelerating while valuations are contracting, so logically the index should have more room to rise.
However, Wall Street's year-end average target only sees 7894 points, about 1.4% above Friday's close at 7785 points. Despite earnings growth beating expectations, the index target hasn't been significantly raised. Essentially, the market is waiting for two variables to provide direction: whether AI-driven margin improvements can spread to more industries, and whether the cooling consumption will transmit to corporate revenues.
S&P earnings are exceeding expectations, but Wall Street is waiting for data validation. The 7894-point target price doesn't underestimate earnings; it's waiting for earnings to spread to more sectors. The impact on BTC depends in the short term on whether earnings can spread and consumption stabilizes; in the medium term, the logic of AI infrastructure capital expenditure remains unchanged. The S&P is waiting for earnings to spread, BTC is waiting for its own catalyst. $BTC $ETH $SNDK
#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap $CORE — The recent price action is honestly hard to ignore.
CORE is currently around $0.0196, roughly 99.7% below its all-time high and not far from the historical low recorded in late July.
That kind of drawdown creates an obvious psychological trap:
“It has already fallen this much. How much lower can it really go?”
But the market has taught us repeatedly that a low price doesn’t automatically mean an asset is cheap, and a massive decline doesn’t guarantee a rebound.
Core’s main focus remains BTCFi—turning Bitcoin from a passive asset into something that can be staked, lent, and used to generate yield.
Its 2026 roadmap also puts more emphasis on application revenue and CORE buybacks, which sounds more tangible than simply talking about ecosystem growth and TVL.
But there’s an important distinction:
A buyback mentioned in a roadmap is not the same as actual capital entering the market.
What I want to see next isn’t simply how many projects launch. I want to see:
📌 How much revenue are the applications generating?
📌 How much CORE is actually being bought back?
📌 Are real users staying and generating sustainable demand?
I’m not ready to call a $CORE reversal yet, but I’m also not ready to write it off completely.
CORE has moved from the “storytelling stage” to the “show me the results” stage.
Ultimately, what can repair the chart isn’t another narrative like BTCFi.
It’s revenue, real buybacks, and sustained demand. $CORE
#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap #S&P Earnings Exceed Expectations, Why Is Wall Street Only Looking at 7894 Points
In Q2, 436 companies in the S&P 500 have reported earnings, with 85.1% beating expectations. The blended EPS surged to the 50% range year-over-year, and the index also hit a new high near 7757.
However, averaging the year-end targets from mainstream investment banks—Yardeni 8250, Citi/Oppenheimer 8100, Goldman Sachs/JPM 8000, RBC 8150, UBS 7500, BofA 7100—the moderate consensus comes out to about 7894 points, less than 2% above the current price.
Within the 50% EPS growth, Alphabet’s one-time gain of over 98 billion and Amazon’s unrealized gain of 53.4 billion from Anthropic contributed 21.5 points. Excluding these one-time accounting gains, the real operational growth drops to 28.8%;
JPMorgan raised its 2026 EPS forecast to $365, but the forward PE is firmly capped at 20x, citing high interest rates, risks from the Hormuz oil price, and massive supply of equity and bonds waiting to be absorbed;
The market is currently pricing in a "strong growth + no rate hikes + oil price decline" golden combination, with zero margin for error. Deutsche Bank bluntly states this is an almost impossible perfect assumption to hold simultaneously.
US stock earnings provide a floor → macro risk appetite hasn’t collapsed, BTC won’t be drained; but the 7894 "average target" itself is a safety cushion left by institutions—bullish but not overly so. If the S&P fails to break 8000 and pulls back to 7750, risk asset sentiment will shake first; only if it firmly holds above 8000 will BTC have room to follow the narrative.JOLTS survey shows fewer and fewer companies responding: The employment data the Federal Reserve watches is turning into a blind box
💡 Bearish bias: Declining JOLTS participation → Fed can't clearly see employment → rate cut timing becomes more uncertain → volatility pressure on risk assets like BTC.
JOLTS is a monthly employer survey by the U.S. Department of Labor that tracks job openings, hires, and separations. It's a core reference for the Fed to gauge the labor market's heat, and each release shakes the market.
The problem now: fewer companies are willing to fill out the survey. As participation keeps dropping, the data no longer represents the real labor market. Job openings appear to decline, but it might just be underreporting, not an actual cooling.
In short: The employment map in the Fed's hands is getting blurry. When the map is inaccurate, the ride gets unstable.
Market impact
Short term: The transmission path is direct. JOLTS distortion → Fed's decision basis weakens → market wavers on rate cut timing → risk asset volatility amplifies. BTC is now around $63,054, nearly flat in 24 hours, but this kind of data noise will amplify futures market long-short battles, increasing spike risks. ETH is consolidating near $1,879 with low volume, lacking momentum for a rebound.
Medium term: If labor data quality keeps deteriorating, the Fed will rely more on inflation data for decisions, reducing policy predictability. Not a disaster for crypto, but it means every employment report's "surprise" and "shock" will be magnified, making news-driven rollercoaster moves more common. Swing trading will feel increasingly difficult.
My judgment
I'm cautiously bearish, but not severely; it's a slow decline bearish scenario, not a crash. BTC is tugging around the $63,000 key level, which is already a battleground; data uncertainty will only make the oscillation more frustrating. If it can't hold above the $64K key level, a downside probe remains likely. ETH is weaker, stuck at $1,879 with low volume and insufficient upward momentum. In this macro noise environment, don't expect a one-sided rally; range-bound bottoming is the main theme. Risk point: If upcoming nonfarm payrolls also reveal similar data quality issues, market sentiment will take another hit.
🎯 Impact forecast
- Coins: BTC / ETH
- Direction: Bearish 📉 Predicted decline (mild, mainly oscillating down)
- Duration: BTC 12 hours / ETH 24 hours
❓ If you find this kind of data noise market increasingly hard to trade, give a like so I can see how many are holding on tough

AMD issued $4.75 billion in bonds, marking the largest-ever dollar bond financing in the company's history, aimed at expanding AI infrastructure and capital expenditures. Choosing bonds over equity reflects confidence in the current stock price and avoids equity dilution. The financing cost is approximately 4.6%–5.5%, with success depending on whether AI chip revenue can cover and exceed this cost.
Key information about this bond:
- Scale and timing: Pricing completed on August 13, issuance on the 15th, totaling $4.75 billion.
- Bond structure and interest rates: Four maturities (3/5/7/10 years), coupon rates between 4.6% and 5.5%.
- Market enthusiasm: The 10-year bond's final pricing tightened by 25 basis points from the initial guidance, indicating strong subscription and institutional confidence in its AI prospects.
- Use of funds: Expansion of AI infrastructure and capital expenditures, supplementing liquidity and reserving "ammunition" for future AI competition.
Comparison of financing paths among three chip giants:
- AMD: Issued $4.75 billion in bonds.
- Purpose: AI infrastructure expansion and capital expenditures.
- Management signal: Prefers not to dilute equity, believing the current stock price is undervalued.
- NVIDIA: Partnered with BlackRock, Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, and others to establish an AI computing power financing platform, with a long-term plan to leverage over $500 billion in third-party capital.
- Purpose: Help customers finance purchases of NVIDIA chips to accelerate ecosystem expansion.
- Mechanism: Defines the "AI factory" as a sustainable infrastructure asset, providing up to 25% residual value risk coverage.
- Intel: Plans a public offering of $15 billion in common stock, which could reach $17.25 billion if the overallotment option is fully exercised.
- Purpose: Capital expenditures and operating funds, focusing on AI infrastructure, advanced packaging, custom chips, and external wafer foundry.
- Market reaction: Stock price dropped about 4% after the announcement, reflecting concerns over equity dilution.
Impact on the AI sector:
- Competition escalates into a "capital arms race": extending from product and order battles to financing and capital expenditure capabilities.
- Macro capital expenditure expectations: Goldman Sachs estimates AI infrastructure annual capital expenditures of about $765 billion in 2026, potentially reaching $1.6 trillion by 2031.
- Industry investment examples: CoreWeave expects annual capital expenditures of $35–39 billion; Cisco raised AI infrastructure order expectations from $5 billion to $9 billion.
Significance for AMD:
- No equity dilution: Choosing bonds over equity reflects confidence in the current stock price.
- Cost and benefit trade-off: Financing cost around 4.6%–5.5%, with success depending on whether AI chip revenue can cover and exceed this level.
Indirect transmission to BTC:
- Limited direct impact: AMD's bond issuance does not directly affect Bitcoin prices.
- Trend signal: The scale and methods of AI infrastructure financing continue to upgrade, global liquidity environment expands, potentially becoming one of the macro backgrounds for risk assets.
AMD's large bond issuance is both a "high-stakes bet" on its AI prospects and reflects that AI competition has entered a full-scale confrontation of capital and ecosystems. For the industry and investors, more attention should be paid to the financing efficiency, capital expenditure conversion ability, and AI revenue realization speed of the three giants to judge the outcome and pace of this "arms race."Why does $SPCX continue to decline?
It's easy to understand: the market cap and stock price are too high, far exceeding other peers.
Q2 single quarter about $18.3-18.4 billion, cash flow has been negative for a long time.
After August-September and the Q3 earnings report, shares have been continuously diluted, and selling pressure has increased.
Early costs were extremely low, so of course some will hold, while others sell based on profits.
Recently it surged to 149 then fell back to 139; the second unlock in August is approaching.
Although the last unlock did not cause a crash, the downward trend is still obvious.
The initial listing was highly popular; now, although liquidity is large, buying interest is weak and bearish sentiment dominates.
It fell from 220 to the current 139; the data still cannot #indicate a strong rebound.
The most important point is that SPCX itself has had multiple issues during Starship testing.
If problems occur again or multiple times in the future, will the stock price continue to fall? #SPCX caused long-short disputes due to Starship launch and unlock
#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap #BTCETFsVsLeverage 🚀 COW surged 55% overnight, leverage ignited, FOMO relay
Started from $0.1, peaked at $0.1935, a 24-hour increase of 55%. Today it pulled back to around $0.1395, and those chasing the highs began to panic.
Why the surge?
It's not a fundamental change, volume moves first, story follows. Previously, daily discussion volume for this coin was under 40 posts. Once the big bullish candle appeared, the community started mass-producing breakout points, take-profit levels, and liquidation screenshots — the volatility itself became a tradable theme. Open interest in contracts soared, leveraged funds took over, and the market momentum kept growing.
What is COW?
CoW Protocol, a DEX aggregator focusing on "intent trading" and MEV protection, using batch matching to reduce slippage. It was hyped last year as the "Trump's exclusive DEX," rising from 0.25 to 1.23, then falling back and consolidating for over half a year.
Is it worth chasing now?
Some have clearly said: "The first big bullish candle is not suitable for chasing." This rally is driven by leverage and sentiment, not a change in pricing logic. The circulating market cap is about 800 million, not large, with intense volatility. Contract traders especially take note — leveraged-driven rallies don’t give warnings when the tide recedes.

And we’re already seeing early examples of this trend.
Companies like Empery Digital and Bitdeer, along with traditional Bitcoin miners, are increasingly shifting toward AI and high-performance computing.

The migration is already happening. The real question is how big it gets.

This week, the market showed a very interesting "contrast": The S&P 500 corporate earnings significantly exceeded expectations, but Wall Street's index targets remain quite conservative. In the latest earnings season, the earnings growth of S&P 500 constituents clearly outpaced previous market expectations, and corporate profits remain resilient. Meanwhile, AI capital expenditure continues to spread into semiconductors, computing power, data centers, and the storage industry chain. But here’s the problem— If earnings are accelerating, why haven’t the index targets been revised upward significantly? I believe the market is no longer truly trading on "whether earnings are growing," but rather on two more critical questions: 🔹 First: Can the profit improvements brought by AI spread from tech giants to more industries? Currently, AI capital expenditure and profit logic remain highly concentrated in a few core companies and industry chains. What Wall Street really wants to see is whether AI investment can continue to transmit to industries like industrial, financial, telecommunications, consumer, and more traditional sectors. 🔹 Second: Can American consumers continue to support corporate revenues? Cooling consumption is becoming a new variable. If household spending continues to slow, even if corporate profit margins improve due to AI and automation, the revenue side may start to come under pressure. So the current market is actually very subtle: Earnings → Strong AI investment → Strong Profit margins → Improving Consumption → Showing signs of cooling Valuation → Compressed compared to the beginning of the year Index targets → Still cautious This means Wall Street is not📊 $NEAR Contract Liquidation Update (August 15)
According to liquidation data, a whale executed a textbook-level "short-term squeeze probe followed by mid-to-long-term aggressive long liquidation" harvesting strategy on NEAR, switching directions decisively, with cumulative liquidations exceeding $21,200.
Time Total Liquidations Long Liquidations Short Liquidations
1H $93.50 $0 $93.50
4H $93.50 $0 $93.50
12H $19,800 $19,400 $426.83
24H $21,200 $20,500 $712.68
From the $NEAR liquidation data, short liquidations crushed longs in the 1-hour window, completely wiping out longs; the short squeeze unfolded in textbook fashion but with very small volume—$93.50, a typical small-scale probe; at 4 hours, shorts continued to dominate, longs still fully wiped out, squeeze pressure maintained but volume unchanged at $93.50, shorts controlled the short-term cycle; at 12 hours, direction reversed completely, long liquidations crushed shorts, longs were 45.5 times the shorts, the whale completed a fierce turn from squeeze to long liquidation, with liquidation volume jumping from $93.50 to $19,800; at 24 hours, longs continued to dominate, with $20,500 long liquidations versus $712.68 shorts, longs were 28.8 times shorts—the whale executed a perfect "bait shorts → full long liquidation" harvesting path on NEAR, short-term small short squeeze confused everyone, from 12 hours onward longs took over with 45x intensity to harvest aggressively, cumulative liquidations exceeded $21,200. Truly a textbook "nurture then kill" strategy. Everyone should manage positions carefully to avoid being harvested back and forth.
⚠️ Risk Warning: NEAR shows a sharp directional switch between short-term short squeeze (1H/4H) and mid-to-long-term long liquidation (12H/24H), with very decisive direction changes; however, the multiplier from 12H to 24H dropped sharply from 45.5x to 28.8x, indicating significantly weakened long liquidation momentum, so be alert for direction changes; 24-hour liquidations account for 96% of the daily total, showing high concentration. Leverage is recommended to be compressed to within 3x, avoid blindly bottom-fishing, strictly control positions and wait for clearer direction.

#ETF买盘反转,BTC杠杆仓位回升 The S&P 500 closed last week at 7785.76 points, rising for the third consecutive week, less than 3% away from 8000 points. What truly supports this rally is not just the expectation of interest rate cuts, but the strong corporate earnings. FactSet data shows that the S&P 500's Q2 earnings growth has exceeded 50%, the highest level since 2021, with about 86% of companies beating expectations. However, it is important to note that investment gains from companies like Alphabet and Amazon have boosted the overall data; excluding these special factors, earnings growth is still around 32%, which remains very strong. Wall Street has also started raising targets. Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase have both raised their year-end S&P 500 targets to 8000 points, with JPMorgan expecting earnings per share to reach $365 by 2026. The issue is that the forward 12-month price-to-earnings ratio of the index has already reached about 20 times, so it cannot be considered cheap. Therefore, the key going forward is not "whether it can reach 8000 points," but whether AI investments can truly translate into cloud business, orders, and cash flow, and whether earnings can spread from a few tech giants to more industries. My judgment is: there is a high probability that 8000 points will be tested, but the upside is not large. If earnings continue to be revised upward, the market can grind higher; however, if consumption weakens or AI returns fall short of expectations, both the US stock market and high-volatility assets like BTC will face valuation pullbacks. It is possible to be bullish now, but it is not suitable to blindly chase highs. @OKX星球 A brand new perspective
Many people compare the strength of $BTC and $ETH only by looking at the candlestick charts, easily overlooking the ongoing divergence in the mindset of two types of holders.
Currently, long-term BTC whales have entered a "passive defense mode," unwilling to sell chips cheaply during deep pullbacks; they also won't aggressively increase positions during short-term rallies, waiting for clearer macro signals.
In contrast, ETH holders generally have a swing trading mindset, taking profits during every small rebound. While everyone is optimistic about the long-term narratives of RWA and Layer2, without major policy catalysts, no one is willing to endure prolonged volatility and consumption.
This directly results in a market pattern: BTC shows clear resilience during panic declines; during emotional recovery phases, ETH faces continuous selling pressure above, severely limiting the strength of its rebounds.
To reverse ETH's persistent underperformance against BTC, mere market recovery is far from enough. At least one positive catalyst such as approval of staking ETFs or an increase in on-chain activity is needed. During volatile markets, do not apply the same trading strategy to both assets; the divergence in strength will continue.#消费动能转弱,9月政策仍受通胀制约
The boss has something to say
Retail sales cooled off unexpectedly. July saw a month-on-month drop of 0.6%, while the market originally expected a 0.1% increase, marking the largest decline since May 2025. Michigan consumer confidence fell from 55.2 to 51, with an expectation of 54.5, also collapsing.
Demand is fading, CPI and PPI are cooling down, and the urgency for a rate hike in September is decreasing. The data indeed does not support further tightening.
But there is a detail worth noting. The one-year inflation expectation rose from 4.2% to 4.3%. Price concerns have not disappeared, which forms a contradictory combination with weakening demand. Consumption is dropping, yet inflation expectations are rising, and the shadow of stagflation is beginning to emerge. This structure is not friendly to risk assets. Rate hikes are no longer urgent, but rate cuts are also unlikely. The duration of high interest rates may be longer than expected.
For BTC, weak retail data is a short-term positive, as funds will flow toward safe havens. However, high inflation expectations mean long-term rates won't come down; if the dollar and U.S. Treasury yields fluctuate repeatedly, the valuation ceiling for risk assets remains.
The BTC short position at 63600 was fully closed at 62600, locking in profits. Currently in a flat position, resting over the weekend, will reassess positions on Monday.

Trump suddenly brought up Iran again, and the market's nerves immediately tightened.
The US has not yet eased sanctions on Iran, and now Dongwang has spoken out in person, making the market interpretation clear: this matter is not over; there may be even harsher moves ahead.
But to be honest, Bitcoin will find it hard to get a share of the "safe-haven" market this time. Many people call BTC digital gold, but when geopolitical tensions heat up and war looms, big money instinctively rushes to gold and US Treasuries. Because Bitcoin is so volatile, it's actually easier for institutions to reduce their positions first.
The logic is simple: when a real fight breaks out, the first move institutions make is to cut high-risk assets. Although BTC has a long-term narrative, its short-term volatility makes it hard to become the preferred safe haven.
If the situation in Iran escalates and oil prices surge to revive inflation, the Fed's rate cut expectations will be further suppressed, and Bitcoin is likely to face short-term pressure. Only when the market begins to re-worry about dollar credit and global liquidity will the BTC narrative return.
So now, don't rush to allocate Bitcoin as a safe-haven asset; at this stage, it is more like a highly volatile risk asset.

#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap $SPCX — Why does the stock keep declining? The answer may be simpler than it looks. 📉
The biggest issue is valuation. Its market cap and share price remain significantly higher than many comparable companies, while quarterly revenue is around $18.3–18.4B and cash flow has remained under pressure.
Another factor is share dilution and unlock-related selling pressure. Since the August–September period and the Q3 earnings report, additional shares have increased the potential supply in the market.
Early investors also have extremely low cost bases, so some may continue holding while others choose to lock in substantial profits.
Recently, $SPCX rallied toward $149 before falling back to around $139, while another unlock event in August is approaching.
The previous unlock didn’t trigger a major crash, but the broader trend remains weak. The stock went from roughly $220 to $139, and current data still doesn’t show convincing evidence of a strong reversal.
The initial listing attracted huge attention and liquidity, but enthusiasm has cooled. Buying demand appears weaker while bearish sentiment is gaining control.
There’s also another risk to watch: Starship testing has faced multiple setbacks. If additional problems or repeated failures occur, investors may reassess the company’s valuation and growth expectations.
For now, the key questions are unlock pressure, valuation, cash flow, and Starship execution.
Until those factors improve, a sustained rebound may remain difficult.
#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap 🔥 $BTC vs $ETH — The ETF Flow Divergence Matters
The main signal here isn’t that institutions are abandoning Bitcoin. It’s that institutional capital may be becoming more selective.
$BTC:
Bitcoin remains the primary institutional gateway into crypto. The roughly $850M of net inflows during the first week of August showed that institutional demand is s#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap #BTCETFsVsLeverage $SOL is gradually entering a new phase: moving from “the most hype-driven chain” toward one that needs real business activity and sustainable usage to justify its value.
In Q2, Solana’s spot DEX trading volume fell around 45% QoQ, fees declined roughly 44%, and TVL dropped to about $12.5B. As the hype cooled, the Meme-driven activity clearly lost some momentum.
But there’s another side to the story.
Solana’s RWA ecosystem has surpassed $3B, representing nearly a quarter of its TVL. At the same time, stablecoins, payments, and tokenized U.S. stocks are gradually expanding on-chain.
That’s the area I think deserves the most attention for $SOL going forward.
Previously, many investors bought SOL expecting the next Pump.fun or viral Meme coin. But the market is becoming harder to fool. High on-chain activity doesn’t necessarily mean real demand—if much of the volume comes from bots and short-term traders rotating capital, the hype eventually fades and price has to face fundamentals.
Solana still has major advantages: fast transactions, low fees, a large user base, and a smoother experience for trading and consumer applications than many competing chains.
But now it needs to prove that it can be more than just a platform for launching and speculating on tokens.
And there’s another issue worth watching: a recent routing failure involving a Frankfurt node custodian affected some validators. The network itself did not go down, but the incident highlighted an important point:
Performance matters, but infrastructure decentralization matters too.
The next chapter for $SOL may be less about hype—and more about whether real-world usage can justify the valuation. 🔥
#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap $BTC — Is Bitcoin turning bearish? A few points are worth watching closely. ⚠️
1️⃣ Positive macro expectations aren’t producing upside
Both CPI and PPI have reduced expectations for further rate hikes, which should normally provide some support for BTC. Yet spot ETFs have posted net outflows for two consecutive days, with Fidelity and ARKB among the major sources of redemptions.
Even IBIT, one of the strongest sources of demand, hasn’t been enough to push the market higher.
When positive expectations fail to generate a rally, it can be a sign of underlying weakness.
2️⃣ This isn’t really “buy the rumor, sell the news” yet
The September Fed decision hasn’t happened. The market is still trading on expectations of no rate hike.
If even those expectations can’t support BTC, that suggests the current bullish narrative may already be losing strength.
3️⃣ BTC may be preparing to break out of the range
The previous consolidation was supported by expectations around Fed policy. If those expectations are no longer enough to attract buyers, the sideways structure could eventually break.
Remember: rallies need buyers and catalysts; declines don’t always need negative news.
If capital starts rotating into assets with stronger narratives, BTC can gradually weaken even without a major bearish catalyst.
🎯 Trading Plan
I wouldn’t rush to catch the falling knife around $63K.
If $BTC reaches around $62K and volume shows strong support, a small long toward $63K could be considered.
However, if $62K fails decisively, the next major level I’d watch is around $60K.
For now, protect capital and let price confirm the direction. 📉 $BTC
#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap Weekend Market Observation: The US stock storage sector continues to strengthen, while BTC and ETH remain flat throughout. This divergence deserves attention.
Many people habitually think: with the AI sector rising and risk appetite warming, the crypto market naturally follows. But this weekend shows a clear market split.
The US stock storage chip sector is undergoing sustained recovery, with capital betting on AI computing power demand driving a storage cycle rebound, a structurally driven market based on industry fundamentals.
In contrast, the crypto market sees BTC and ETH maintaining narrow oscillations with almost no volatility. The core reason is that the funds flowing into US stock storage are targeted semiconductor cycle investments and have not spilled over into the crypto market.
A simple summary of the current linkage characteristics:
When negative shocks occur, stocks and crypto tend to fall together;
In positive structural rallies, capital clusters only in mainline sectors and does not necessarily transmit to crypto.
Short-term market signal interpretation:
$BTC maintains resilience relying on its safe-haven attribute, awaiting signals of incremental capital;
$ETH still lacks independent catalysts, and without new ETF news, it is difficult to strengthen solely based on US stock sentiment.
Focus on Monday's opening:
If storage sector enthusiasm continues to spread and overall market risk appetite further heats up, mainstream coins may have a chance to catch up;
If the storage sector peaks and falls back, combined with continued conservative capital, BTC and ETH will likely continue range-bound consolidation Overseas storage-themed funds are restructuring their portfolio balance, with Changxin Technology and Zhaoyi Innovation being pushed into the core weighting range, forming a tug-of-war with the high-level oscillation of U.S. Treasury yields.
As of August 14, Roundhill Memory ETF ($DRAM) increased Changxin Technology's weight to 4.52%, Zhaoyi Innovation's allocation to 1.16%, and Tema Memory ETF raised Changxin Technology's holding to 7.54%. This set of position adjustments directly breaks the previous marginal allocation positioning.
The driving force behind the capital reshuffle comes from the expected recovery of the semiconductor industry cycle. Against the backdrop of a strong U.S. dollar index and high volatility in U.S. Treasury yields, overseas equity funds have begun to seek capacity targets with valuation elasticity in the global supply chain.
The high valuation consolidation of the U.S. tech sector has amplified the demand for risk aversion and diversification of funds, prompting overseas passive and active funds to use China's storage capacity as a pricing tool for competitive revaluation.
If the U.S. semiconductor sector maintains a sideways trend in a high interest rate environment, and spot storage prices continue to transmit profit improvement, the continuous expansion of related ETF capital net inflows for two weeks will confirm the establishment of a revaluation market. Increased geopolitical restrictions triggering passive liquidation would be a failure signal for this path.
If U.S. Treasury yields rise rapidly causing overall deleveraging in the tech sector, funds will prioritize reducing high-volatility holdings. Concentrated redemptions in funds will lead to a decline in heavy positions, while a decline in the U.S. dollar index driving risk appetite recovery would be a blocking signal for the downside logic.
Large-scale redemptions by mainstream overseas institutions will nullify the signaling significance of heavy positions, causing the original supply chain revaluation logic to lose its capital carrier.
The most important variables to observe in the next 7 days are the subscription and redemption scale changes of storage-themed ETFs and the premium transmission of U.S. Treasury yields on the adjustment intensity of overseas tech funds.

Phong Le, who was born in the U.S. to Vietnamese parents, now leads the world’s largest corporate holder of Bitcoin.
He recently said Strategy will continue buying $BTC when doing so is genuinely accretive to MSTR shareholders, emphasizing that the recent pause in purchases is not driven by Bitcoin’s price.
Strategy currently holds roughly 840K BTC, with around 175K BTC acquired this year, while nearly 7K BTC has been sold.
At the same time, the company has been prioritizing its cash position, growing reserves from roughly $800M to nearly $4.7B. One major reason is to ensure it has sufficient liquidity to cover dividends on its preferred shares.
The bigger picture: Strategy isn’t simply betting on BTC’s price—it’s increasingly focused on capital structure, liquidity, and shareholder returns while maintaining its massive Bitcoin position. $BTC $MSTR

Calling it “circular financing” seems overly simplistic. It’s similar to arguing that auto financing is circular because car companies are effectively helping customers buy cars.
The bigger development may be that Wall Street is increasingly treating GPUs as reusable collateral, potentially giving these assets a more established financing value.
The key question is whether this financing creates genuine incremental demand and productive capacity, rather than simply shifting risk around the balance sheet.
#WeakConsumptionFedSplit #SP500EarningsGap If the scarcer thing in the market has never been money, but the ability to "handle boredom," then at this stage, what really tests is your position structure, not your faith. Have you noticed that recently many people talk about long-termism, but their hands are more anxious than anyone else? My observation is that BTC is hovering around $63,000, with a total market cap of about 2.23 trillion, and BTC still accounts for more than half on CoinGecko. On the surface, the market seems to be oscillating, but capital preferences have quietly shifted: money hasn't disappeared, it's just a reluctance to take risks. In this round of trading, everyone is trading different things. BTC focuses on transaction scarcity and institutional consensus, ETH in transaction payment layers, DeFi, and staking economy, SOL in the application of high-performance trading chains, SUI in the flexibility of trading ecosystem expansion, and OKB relies more on platform actions and the realization of the X Layer ecosystem. Behind every asset, the logic behind capital returns is different, so you can't measure it with the same set of emotions. What truly needs to be vigilant is misunderstanding "patience" as unconditional tough bearing. The premise for long-term holding should be: fundamentals are not disrupted, capital logic hasn't been reversed, and the position can withstand cyclical fluctuations. According to CoinGecko data, in Q2 2026, the total crypto market capitalization fell 12.6% in a single quarter, falling to 2.1 trillion. Those who can weather such volatility are not the most leveraged, but those who still have cash, controllable positions, and logic#ETF buying reversal, BTC leverage positions rising
It seems the main players are about to make big moves recently and have already started positioning.
The wind of capital should blow through the crypto circle this time!
ETF is running, leverage is increasing, and looking at these two together is really contradictory. Last week, BTC spot ETF had a net outflow of nearly 400 million, but the open interest of futures contracts and funding rates both went up. What does this indicate? It means institutions are withdrawing, but speculative funds are still rushing in. Both sides are not coordinating and are going their own ways.
Weak spot buying is a fact; ETF funds are the real allocation funds. If they don’t buy, the price lacks support. Leverage funds are different—they are borrowed money with interest costs and can’t sustain the market for long. Futures contracts must settle on their due date. If the price stays flat or drops slightly, and the long funding rate rises, the holding cost will force people out. When leverage loosens, the stampede will be faster than anyone else.
So in the current situation, the most important thing to watch is not the $BTC Bitcoin price, but whether ETF net inflows can turn positive again—that is the real signal of spot buying returning. Leverage position data must also be monitored; if open interest continues to rise but the price remains stagnant, that is a typical long crowding and liquidation is near. #标普盈利超预期,华尔街为何仅看7894点 #ETF买盘反转,BTC杠杆仓位回升 #AI Bet Setback, Wall Street Trading Giant Loses $15 Billion in a Month
I am Cige. Jane Street, a top Wall Street market maker, lost $15 billion in July, marking its first monthly loss in nearly a decade. AI-themed funds and tech stock positions were hit during the market adjustment.
The $15 billion loss is the largest single-month loss in the company's history. The volatility of crowded AI trades has spread from individual tech stocks to hedge funds and large trading institutions. Jane Street's net trading income for the year still exceeds $40 billion, so there is no operational crisis. But the significance of this loss is that when one of the largest market makers suffers losses on AI trades, it indicates that the stakes in this sector have become dangerously crowded.
If related positions continue to shrink, the tech stock adjustment could be further amplified by concentrated deleveraging. The chain reaction process will form a negative feedback loop. The short-term impact on BTC is indirect; Jane Street's loss itself will not directly change BTC's direction but will reduce overall market risk appetite and increase volatility.
Institutional leverage is being squeezed, and AI stakes are being cleared; this process will not end in a day. Cige has finished speaking; you can ponder it.
