Why is $SNDK falling if the storage supply-demand gap isn’t expected to close until 2028?
The fundamentals haven’t necessarily changed, but the market is already pricing in a potential profit peak in 2027. ChangXin’s breakthrough in 4F² technology has raised fears that storage chips could become much cheaper in the future.
However, SanDisk’s NAND outlook remains intact, with the supply-demand gap expected to peak in Q1 2028.
