SanDisk’s Q1 puts data center storage at the center of its growth story, with profitability adding another dimension. For the fiscal quarter ended Oct 2, 2026, the company reported: • Revenue: $11.031B, up 378% YoY and 23% QoQ • GAAP net income: $8.1B • GAAP diluted EPS: $52.60 • Non-GAAP diluted EPS: $49.51 Revenue surpassed the top of its previous $10.3B-$10.8B guidance range. Non-GAAP EPS also exceeded its $44-$46 outlook, putting the quarter in context beyond the annual growth rate. Data center revenue reached $4.802B, up 61% QoQ, while consumer revenue fell 29%. Management attributed the data center performance to strong and growing product demand. The contrast highlights a shifting business mix. Infrastructure demand supported overall growth even as consumer sales weakened, making the durability of data center demand an important part of the outlook. GAAP gross margin reached 85.0%, versus 84.6% last quarter. This adds a profitability measure to the revenue story. The next phase will show how demand, pricing and product mix affect that margin as the business expands. For Q2, SanDisk forecasts: • Revenue: $12.2B-$12.6B. • Non-GAAP diluted EPS: $55-$57. All EPS figures here are on a pre-split basis. The outlook points to further growth, but remains management guidance rather than a result already delivered. Capital returns also stood out. SanDisk repurchased approximately 3.2M shares for $5B during Q1, bringing repurchases over two quarters to 6M shares, roughly 4% of shares outstanding. An eight-for-one stock split was also announced, with split-adjusted trading expected to begin Nov 20. The split changes per-share figures, not the value of the business by itself. The quarter combines rapid data center growth, high margins and a stronger revenue outlook. Sustaining that performance will depend on continued demand and execution. Can data center momentum keep powering SanDisk’s growth into Q2? #SanDiskQ1RevenueUp378%

US growth accelerated in Q3, while September’s spending data showed softer momentum. The Oct 29 releases reported: • Q3 real GDP: 3.4% annualized growth, versus 2.2% in Q2 • September core PCE inflation: 3.1% YoY • Headline PCE inflation: 3.6% YoY • Real consumer spending: broadly flat MoM GDP exceeded the 3.2% forecast, but the sources of growth matter. Investment, consumer spending and government spending supported output. Investment growth was led by inventories and equipment. Inventory accumulation contributes to GDP, but differs from final customer demand. An increase can reflect planned stockbuilding or changes in sales, so it does not automatically mean stronger demand or unwanted stock. Real final sales to private domestic purchasers, combining consumer spending and private fixed investment, grew 4.9% annualized, versus 4.6% in Q2. Unlike headline GDP, this measure excludes inventory investment, government spending and net exports. The quarterly and monthly readings cover different windows. GDP describes July through September, while the spending report captures September alone. A strong quarter can end with slower consumption momentum. Nominal consumer spending rose 0.5% in September, while the PCE price index also increased 0.5%. Real spending was essentially unchanged, and real disposable personal income fell 0.3%, adding context to household purchasing power. The policy backdrop remains a balance between economic resilience and elevated inflation. The Fed held rates at 3.75%-4.00% in October in a 10-2 vote, with two officials favoring a 25 basis point increase. The GDP release is an advance estimate and remains subject to revision. Growth composition, subsequent inflation readings and labor data will help clarify whether September’s softer spending becomes a broader trend. Will resilient growth or softer household spending carry more weight in December’s rate decision? #USCorePCERisesTo3.1%

Samsung’s record Q3 profit highlights strong AI memory demand, but also uneven performance across the group. Results released on Oct 29 included: • Revenue: KRW 195.3T, up 14% from Q2 • Operating profit: KRW 107.4T, up 20% • Operating margin: 55% • Net profit: KRW 75.13T, up 514.6% YoY Net profit missed market expectations despite the growth. Record operating profit and a net earnings miss describe different aspects of the quarter. Semiconductors drove most of the operating profit. Device Solutions reported KRW 147.1T in revenue and KRW 106.5T in operating profit. Memory revenue and profit both reached quarterly highs, supported by AI products and higher memory prices. HBM4 sales expanded significantly, while server SSD demand remained strong. For Q4, Samsung plans to increase HBM, server DRAM and SSD sales, including high-speed DDR5 and QLC SSDs. The wider group presents a contrast. Device eXperience revenue rose 8% from Q2, but the division recorded a KRW 0.8T operating loss. Record group earnings do not mean every business is improving equally. Investment is rising alongside demand. Q3 capital expenditure reached KRW 29T. That is Samsung’s own spending, separate from its forecast that industry AI infrastructure investment will reach a historic high in 2027. Management expects AI-driven demand growth to outpace industry supply expansion and plans to strengthen its sales base through multi-year contracts. Those arrangements can improve planning visibility. The financial outcome still depends on pricing, product mix and how effectively capacity meets customer needs. Strong demand today and new investment do not automatically establish future margins. The quarter’s central story is strong memory earnings alongside substantial infrastructure spending. The next phase will show how that strength translates into sustained performance across the business. Can AI memory demand sustain Samsung’s earnings momentum into 2027? #SamsungQ3RecordProfit

Microsoft’s Azure growth accelerated. Keeping pace with demand is an infrastructure challenge as well as a sales story. Fiscal Q1 2027 results for the quarter ended Sep 30 included: • Revenue: $92.3B, up 19% YoY • Operating income: $45.9B, up 21% • GAAP net income: $36.6B, up 32% • GAAP diluted EPS: $4.92 Azure revenue grew 48% in reported and constant-currency terms, versus 42% in the prior quarter. Microsoft Cloud revenue reached $63.9B, up 30%. Azure is included in that total, not a separate amount to add to it. Commercial remaining performance obligations reached $677B, up 73% YoY but broadly unchanged from $678B last quarter. This includes unearned revenue and amounts to be invoiced and recognized in future periods. A large contractual pipeline provides visibility, but its size alone does not establish the pace of future revenue growth or profitability. Microsoft Cloud’s gross margin was 66%, versus 68% a year earlier and 65% last quarter. It improved sequentially while remaining below the year-earlier level. The outlook points to continued expansion. Management forecast Azure growth of 49%-50% in constant currency next quarter, with demand still exceeding supply. This is guidance, not growth already delivered. Q1 capital expenditures, including finance leases, reached $45.2B. Management also flagged delays in some third-party capacity deliveries, bringing deployment timing into focus alongside the spending figure. Spending, capacity becoming available and customer usage do not necessarily arrive together. Deployment and utilization help determine when infrastructure can contribute to revenue and cash generation. The quarter combines faster Azure growth with a substantial build-out. The next phase is about matching capacity with demand while managing the economics of serving it. Can Microsoft sustain cloud momentum as new capacity comes online? #MicrosoftQ1AzureSurges
