The Sui Foundation invested $30 million in DATA Network on the condition that its independent chain be retired and its tokens migrated 1:1 to Sui.
Honestly, this feels less like an investment and more like an acquisition.
DATA is moving from running its own blockchain to becoming part of the Sui ecosystem. The team gets substantial funding, but gives up its independent chain.
