Cboe BZX has asked the SEC to approve the first US 3× leveraged Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. The proposed products would use futures and target three times the daily move not three times Bitcoin or Ethereum’s long term return. That distinction is critical. Daily resetting creates path dependency and can erode value during volatile, sideways markets. If approved, these would be short term trading instruments, not simple leveraged versions of holding $BTC or $ETH #SandiskDealsInFocus
