$BTC vs $ETH: Liquidity tells a different story.
BTC market cap is ~5.6× ETH, but trading volume is only ~3.1×.
BTC is the market’s liquidity anchor, absorbing ETF and macro allocation flows. ETH is more of a high-beta rotation asset, with DeFi, L2, staking and altcoin activity amplifying volatility.
If allocation capital dominates → BTC keeps the certainty premium.
If trading capital returns → ETH’s higher liquidity elasticity could drive the next move
