Setting up Perpetual Swaps on OKX in Singapore

Here's how to set up your Perpetual Swaps trade on OKX in Singapore.

Step 1: Navigate to Futures

  • Open the OKX app.

  • Tap Trade, or the GRID buton at the top left, and then select Futures.

Step 2: Go to Perpetual Swaps

  • Select “Futures” from the product types listed (Spot, Futures, Options).

Step 3: Choose a Trading Pair

  • Tap the pair selector (e.g., BTC/USDT) to search for and select the perpetual contract you wish to trade.

Step 4: Set Leverage & Mode

  • Tap the leverage icon (e.g., 50×) & Adjust the leverage level using the slider or input field.

  • Choose between Isolated or Cross Margin modes.

Step 5: Choose Order Type and Input Trade Details

  • Select an order type (Limit, Market, Trigger, etc.).

  • Input the order price (if using a limit order).

  • Enter your position size.

Step 6: Open a Position

  • Tap “Buy/Long” if you expect the price to rise, or “Sell/Short” if you expect it to fall.

  • Review the order summary and tap Confirm to place your trade.

Step 7: Monitor and Manage Your Position

  • After placing the order, monitor your open positions in the “Positions” tab.

  • You can adjust TP/SL (Take Profit / Stop Loss) or close the position manually at any time.

Tip: If you're planning to use a hedging strategy, tap the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top right, go to Settings, and switch Position Mode to Hedge. This allows simultaneous long and short positions on the same pair.

Perpetual Swaps trading is currently available only to Accredited Investors in Singapore. Verify as an Accredited Investor now, and gain access to Spot Margin
