About MarvellGoogleChipDeal

Marvell signed a custom AI chip deal with Google and granted warrants to buy up to 58.97M Marvell shares at $206.58, worth about $12.2B notionally. It covers Google TPUs and related accelerators, storage controllers, networking and memory interfaces; the warrants do not mean Google has bought shares. Marvell rose about 10% on Aug 19, while Broadcom and other suppliers fell. Marvell reports FY2027 Q2 on Aug 27. Will the deal boost AI custom-chip revenue expectations or guidance?

Marvell’s Google agreement matters less as a one-day share-price catalyst than as evidence that custom AI infrastructure is broadening beyond compute alone. The scope spans TPUs and related accelerators, storage controllers, networking and memory interfaces, giving Marvell several potential routes into Google’s buildout. US pre-market action is looking strong—another big move could be coming tonight. $BTC and $ETH are both gaining momentum, with $67K BTC and $2K ETH looking like key levels this week. Meanwhile, $MRVL jumped 10% after news of a Google order. Storage names like $SNDK remain under pressure, adding more volatility to the market. I’m staying bullish. The signals still point north. 📈 #XiaomiQ2Earnings #SKHynix40TBuyback #SandiskValuationSplit

Their real analytical value is alignment: if execution scales, expectations for custom-chip revenue may rise. The Aug 27 FY2027 Q2 report should show whether management is ready to translate that potential into guidance. Not advice, just analysis. #MarvellGoogleChipDeal

$MRVL | $235.67 Marvell Technology is staying firmly in focus as AI infrastructure demand accelerates. Its expanding custom-silicon business and new Google partnership could strengthen its position in the next phase of AI chip growth, with Google’s deal potentially reaching $120B in purchases through FY2033. At $235.67, MRVL remains a key semiconductor name to watch as its next earnings report approaches. #DailyOrbit @OKX Orbit

Hot flash PMI turned the pre-market AI rebound into another split tape. S&P Global's August flash data kept the macro pressure alive. Services printed 56.8 versus 53.9 est, composite printed 56.0 versus 54.0, and manufacturing slowed to 53.2 versus 54.0 est. The 10Y is still near 4.7%, so the market is treating the report as another reason to stay selective on duration. By 9:17am CT, $QQQ $710 was flat to down while $SOXX $517 was off 1%. $MRVL $241 and $ARM $245 gave back the pre-market rebound. $MU $964 and $SNDK $1,586 also rolled red, while $ORCL $146 and $AVGO $368 stayed green. Our view is the tape is still paying for nearer-term AI revenue and financing visibility, not for the higher-multiple semi beta names that need rates to stop rising. Oracle holding green while Marvell rolls over says investors still prefer clearer enterprise demand and financing lanes over another custom-silicon chase ahead of next week's earnings. The falsifier is the close. If the 10Y backs off and $MRVL, $ARM, and memory retake leadership, this becomes a failed morning shakeout. If not, the broadening trade is still not here heading into Tuesday's $NVDA print and Wednesday's $MRVL report.

JP MORGAN: Google is potentially turning Marvell into one of the key suppliers of the infrastructure surrounding its TPU ecosystem. And the numbers behind the deal are pretty insane. Potential $120B Google opportunity through FY33. The warrant structure implies more than $120B of cumulative Marvell custom-product revenue if fully vested, equivalent to roughly $19.2B per year over 6.25 years. For context, JPM's previous AI ASIC revenue expectation for $MRVL was only around $11.5-$16.8B for FY27/FY28. One important distinction though, is that JPM does NOT think Marvell won Google's core TPU. The opportunity is more about the chips sitting around the TPU and making the entire AI system work. Basically, Google is expanding its custom silicon strategy beyond just the accelerator itself. And $MRVL is positioning itself to supply more and more of that surrounding infrastructure. It validates the broader custom ASIC TAM thesis. Hyperscalers are increasingly designing custom silicon not only for compute, but also for networking, storage, memory and other adjacent workloads. JPM reiterates OVERWEIGHT on $MRVL with a $240 PT. $MRVL has also been one of the stronger AI semicons names recently, holding up relatively well despite volatility. People are now calling $MRVL the next $MU - do you agree with this 🤔 Fun facts we bet you didn't know about $MRVL: - Members of Congress (Rep. Byron Donalds & Rep. Maria Salazar) were buying before the recent run - Jensen Huang literally called Marvell the "next trillion-dollar company.

$MRVL is giving $GOOGL the right to buy ~7% of the company as Google scales its custom chip business with Marvell. Most of the ~59M-share warrant vests only as Google drives custom-chip revenue through FY2033 across AI accelerators, networking and memory.
