Uniswap’s v4 architecture gives developers far more control over how liquidity pools behave through hooks, including customized fees, pricing logic and other pool-level functions. That turns the AMM into something more programmable than a simple swap venue. The interesting question is whether this flexibility produces a genuinely larger developer ecosystem without creating excessive complexity. �
