What fell was not the price, but the buy orders that withdrew first
$ETH dropped from 2807 to 2420.
At the same time, the spot ETF has had net outflows for nine consecutive trading days.
The rule states:
ETF funds are subscribed and redeemed by authorized institutions.
The redeemed shares must be sold, and the sell orders directly hit the spot market.
At the moment it was triggered:
The number of validators exiting the queue rose from 166,000 to 851,000.
More $ETH queued to exit, but the number of buyers did not increase.
Looking further down, the rebound above 2450 likely still has sell orders waiting there.

#$ETH #TSMCQ3RecordProfit Inflation exceeds expectations on both fronts, so why is the Federal Reserve "soft-spoken but firm-handed"?
September PPI year-on-year at 6.3%, month-on-month at 1.3%, with core PPI also surging; CPI year-on-year at 3.7%, both data sets consecutively beating expectations. According to the traditional script, this should be the signal to raise interest rates. But the market read the opposite signal—bets on a rate hike in October plummeted to 15%, BTC rose slightly, and risk assets breathed a sigh of relief.
The turning point was in Wash's statement: no predictions about the future, no hints about October's actions. Daly and Goolsbee also expressed caution in unison. Hot data and soft officials seem contradictory but actually reveal the Fed's dilemma: the root of inflation hasn't been removed, energy and service prices continue to push cost pressures, but no one dares to bear the economic cost of continuous rate hikes. So they choose to be "soft-spoken"—using vague guidance to buy an observation window.
But don't rush to optimism. PPI and CPI exceeding expectations on both fronts indicates that price pressures are structural, not just monthly noise. The market translating "no rush to hike rates" as "all bad news priced in" is essentially a short-term game, not a trend reversal. If subsequent data continues to be hot, the Fed's patience will be exhausted.
The real question is not whether to hike in October, but whether the inflation baseline has systematically risen. If so, the current risk asset rebound is just a false move in a race to get ahead. Data doesn't lie, and officials' "Tai Chi" will eventually come to an end.
#特斯拉发布新一代Roadster,行情走高 #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? There's a painful detail in this market cycle: the money hasn't really left, it just collectively moved to another room — all crowding into Bitcoin's room.
BTC's market dominance has climbed back to 60%, meaning out of every hundred units of market value, sixty are pinned on Bitcoin. When Bitcoin drops, some scoop up; when altcoins drop, they just lie there playing dead. That's the harsh reality.
Take $OKB, a platform token, for example. It was pumped along with the market earlier, but now that funds have withdrawn, it's getting drained and falling with no one to catch it. I opened a 20x short at 123.54, now the mark price is 115.35, with an unrealized profit of +132.58%.
Simply put, the short-term star is still Bitcoin. Platform tokens like OKB that rose a lot early on shouldn't expect to rebound with the crowd. When Bitcoin rises, they can't keep up; when Bitcoin pulls back, they fall even harder.
Retail investors talk about altcoin season, but their actions are honest — the money is all with the leader. The platform tokens pumped earlier are the first stop for funds to exit.$SAND is using the familiar pump-and-dump short squeeze tactic again, pushing the fee rate down to nearly -0.4% just to scare retail traders away from shorting, allowing the big players to quietly unload their positions on top!
Just take a look at the smart money, and you'll understand: on the short side, over 140 whales hold short positions worth more than 4 million USDT and are not moving, which is significantly larger than the long side's 2 million volume!
Do you really think the big players are foolish enough to pay such expensive funding fees for nothing? It's because they clearly know that the profits from pushing the price down next will far outweigh these fees. Meanwhile, the average entry price for the longs who chased the highs is above 0.064, and now they are overall losing money, trapped at the peak!
There are still more than three hours until the next funding fee collection. Entering the market now means you don't even have to pay the fee; you can just short and wait for the big players to close the trap! ETH has been stuck around 2444 for two days, neither going up nor down, quite frustrating 😅
But what's more interesting is on-chain: a batch of old wallets from 2017 have started moving. The cost back then was $14, now it's 2400+, a 170x profit. Held for nine years, recently moving to exchanges. If it were you, would you leave? I definitely would. Nine years of profit isn't about faith, it's about cashing out 💰
Now at 2400, retail investors think it's cheap — compared to 2800, it is indeed cheaper. But compared to 14? The cost basis of old addresses is unimaginably low. Moving to exchanges is not for nostalgia 📉
The market is straightforward: a rebound from 2322 to 2448 fizzled out, volume is shrinking day by day. Above, 2480-2500 is full of positions waiting to break even. On the contract side, 43.8 billion open interest; if it breaks below 2316, over 1 billion long positions will be liquidated with strong force ⚠️
No advice or hype, just watch for yourself 👀

#韩股修复反弹,外资卖压能否缓解? BTC is around 81353, and today's top five signals are all bearish again: QUANT short 84.0, ZEC short 81.0, RIVER short 81.0, DASH short 78.8, LIT short 78.8. But this time I'm not focusing on the scores, but on the "commonality of the varieties after score convergence." QUANT is the old narrative of cross-chain interoperability, ZEC is an old privacy coin, and low liquidity small-cap coins like RIVER and LIT are also on the list, indicating that the bearish signals are not concentrated in a single popular sector but are dispersed in niche, low-attention corners. My view is: this kind of "decentralized bearishness" is often more worrisome than "grouped bearishness" because it reflects overall capital withdrawing from marginal assets rather than sentiment in a single sector. Risk reminder: low liquidity varieties have large slippage and frequent spikes; a high signal score does not necessarily mean the trend will follow, so position sizing and stop-loss always take priority. Recently, are you paying more attention to bearishness in hot sectors or to anomalies in these niche varieties? AC$SOL's high elasticity not breaking the previous low doesn't mean it's safe.

But how is this number derived? By comparison. The AI sector drops 35%, gaming coins drop 60%, only then does it look decent. It's not that it can take a hit, it's that others around it are dying worse.
The real bottoming moment is never first shown by the candlestick, but by the 1h futures outflow data. Once selling pressure returns, all the 108-110 integer levels are just illusions. No exclusive big news found today; this wave is driven by continuous capital: the entire market rallied +14% the day before yesterday, +16% yesterday, and today OKEx's current price is 0.11261 with a 24h trading volume of 1.61 million USDT. The volume has further expanded compared to the previous round, and the entire market's 24h trading volume has reached over 30 million USD, marking it as a token continuously lifted by large capital.
OKEx's current price is 0.11261, with moving averages MA5/MA30/MA120 in a bullish alignment, and the super trend at 0.10804 supporting from below. The structure is favorable, RSI at 59 is not overheated at all. My judgment: continuous volume increase with narrowing gains, capital is rotating to higher levels; sustainability depends on whether volume can be maintained.
Watching two signals: whether the resistance line at 0.1141 can be broken with volume to hit new highs, and whether the super trend at 0.1080 can hold on a pullback. If it breaks down, short-term support is first seen at 0.1121.

Not investment advice, DYOR Netflix "Will this quarter's earnings beat expectations?" Currently Yes≈72¢, No≈29¢, the market has already priced in a beat as the main scenario.
I still lean Yes, for three reasons:
First, subscription and ad tiering in recent years have supported the profit margin, and earnings beats tend to be more stable than revenue beats;
Second, content cost pacing is predictable, and the market's tolerance for guidance is higher than for hardware stocks;
Third, the market volume is already significant, liquidity is sufficient, so it's easier to cut losses if wrong. 72¢ is not cheap, so I only take a small position, not going all in.Market Observation: After $BTC fell below 80,000 last night, it quickly recovered near 82,000, but many holders of ETH, $SOL, $OKB, and altcoins found their accounts only slightly recovered. BTC's rebound does not mean a full market recovery.
Recovery Math: Taking a drop from 100 to 70 as an example, a 30% decline, a 10% rebound only brings it back to 77, still down 23%; to get from 70 back to 100 requires about a 42.9% increase. The gap caused by a drop cannot be closed by an equal percentage rise.
Reasons for Divergence: First, when risk appetite declines, funds prioritize flowing to more liquid BTC; second, high volatility triggers leveraged liquidations, so positions closed cannot be restored even after a rebound; third, many altcoins lack sustained new buying, and institutional allocations and ETF funds may not flow through.
Observation Signals: Whether ETH/BTC strengthens in sync when BTC rises; whether the number of gainers among the top 100 by market cap continues to increase; whether trading volume improves during altcoin rebounds. If BTC rises alone while most coins remain weak, it indicates concentrated funds and low risk appetite.
Positioning Conclusion: The current risk is not missing BTC's first rebound wave, but mistakenly thinking BTC stabilization will bring a broad altcoin rally. True recovery requires more assets to receive sustained buying. BTC has rebounded—has your account recovered?
#山寨永续未平仓量21个月来首次超过BTC #Strategy再度增持,财库同步加仓 The Other Side of the Fee Rankings: Who Is Collecting Rent, Who Is Just Passing Through
The crypto community often focuses on price fluctuations, but the fee rankings reveal another profit logic: whether a protocol can retain the transaction fees.
Recently, Papertrade stands out in the top five: fees of 7.33 million, revenue of 7.33 million, 100% retention, and doubling from 3.76 to 5.73 to 7.33 million in two days. Its fee scale surpasses PUMP. PUMP appears stagnant: 6.29 → 5.83 → 5.65 million, almost no change in three days, with a retention rate of 36%. HYPE has fees of 3.47 million, revenue of 2.64 million, retention of 76%, making it a strong capturer; UNI has fees of 3.32 million, revenue of 320,000, retention only 10%, with most value flowing to LPs; Polymarket has fees of 3.24 million, revenue of 600,000, retention 18%.
Though all collect fees, the results vary greatly. High-retention protocols are more like "rent collectors," able to convert fees into revenue; low-retention protocols are more like "toll collectors," generating traffic but leaking profits to liquidity providers. High fees only indicate active trading; high retention indicates stronger value capture by the protocol.
Therefore, when evaluating projects, don’t just focus on popularity. Fees and retention must be considered together: only both high have real value, while only one high often leads to wasted effort. The rankings are just an observation window, not investment advice; first distinguish who is extracting value and who is leaking it, then talk about FOMO.#NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins Still dare to call the bottom for ARB now? The main players have already taken their money and disappeared. Do you really think you're an iron-headed kid going to catch the falling knife halfway up the mountain?
Tonight, don't just stare at the K-line, dig into the data directly:
First, look at the worst hit $ARB, down nearly 8 points, yet the long-short ratio surprisingly surged against the trend to 1.80! The open interest plunged directly, the main players are withdrawing funds and retreating, while retail investors stubbornly keep buying.
$UNI is also a battle of gods, falling below 7 with the long-short ratio still able to break 2, bulls are losing money even on interest, and the top is full of trapped positions; $NEAR's open interest hasn't decreased but increased, bulls are still holding on stubbornly.
All are classic bull traps. Charging in to go long now is purely providing liquidity for others, and shorting is risky because you might suddenly get squeezed out. #TeslaQ3ProfitAndMargins Market Review: After a double whammy of bulls and bears, don't rush to bet on a direction (ง •_•)ง
Last night BTC plunged below 80,000 then made a V-shaped recovery, today it hovered around 82,000 all day—a typical double whammy of bulls and bears. After the PPI release, BTC briefly dipped below 79k before violently bouncing back above 82k; over 700 million liquidations across the network in 24 hours, clearing both long and short positions, with the largest single liquidation exceeding 26 million. ETFs saw a net outflow of over 500 million from early October to the 14th, but on-chain data shows the US has turned into a net inflow country for Bitcoin for the first time; the long-short ratio favors longs, funding rates have turned negative, indicating shorts are paying to bet ( ̄▽ ̄)~*
ETH briefly dropped to 2360 with liquidations over 157 million, marking the largest single-day liquidation recently; it bounced back to around 2450 today. In the past 12 hours, short liquidations have been more than five times those of longs, forcing shorts to cover. XAUT gold broke below 4100 then rebounded above 4170, up 1.6% intraday; speculative futures traders are exiting while ETFs and central banks are accumulating. Central banks have increased holdings for 23 consecutive months, adding 740,000 ounces in September alone. The allocation players are buying on dips, not leveraged traders.
Essentially, the main players are redistributing chips, not starting a new trend. Heavy bets on direction now risk being swept back and forth. Wait for the market to fully price in the Fed's credibility discount, then watch if CPI/PPI exceeding expectations leads to another rate hike within the year. I opened a short at 0.029687, marked at 0.013862, with an unrealized profit of +1066.12%. The logic is that after a surge, a large amount of long position profit-taking accumulates, high-level relay funds are scarce, and the price is expected to fall due to the game.
The risk lies in the strong control of small-cap coins; sudden capital inflows can quickly push the price up. This paper profit is amplified by 20x leverage and is not yet realized profit.
Key focus for the future is to observe changes in trading volume. If the buying volume suddenly surges, close the position immediately to stop loss; if volume remains low, continue holding the short position without adding positions arbitrarily. $TIA $DNA #Netflix growth may slow, advertising business becomes new focus Both BTC and ETH are moving downward, with ETH falling faster.
Looking at the two charts together, the picture is consistent. BTC's latest close is 81,403, ETH's is 2,412. Both hit this round's low on October 15 and slightly raised that low on October 17. The increase is small: BTC rose from 79,800 to 80,809, ETH from 2,318 to 2,393.
The structure is still downward. BTC's high dropped from 87,220 (October 2) to 82,941 (October 16), and the low from 80,394 to 79,800. ETH is more orderly, with highs compressed from 2,777 down to 2,494, and lows from 2,406 to 2,318. Both highs and lows are moving lower.
Prices are all below the moving averages. BTC's EMA20 is at 81,919, EMA55 at 82,585, EMA200 at 82,423; the latter two are close together, forming a band between 82,400 and 82,600. ETH's EMA20 is at 2,438, EMA55 at 2,486, and EMA200 still at 2,553.
The difference in strength is seen in the magnitude. Over the last 20 trading days, BTC fell 3.9%, ETH fell 10.4%. ETH has been leading the decline this round, with BTC following behind.
The quality of the rebound needs separate mention. After October 17, volume was only 0.4 to 0.6 times 50-period average volume. Price rose 1%, but volume dropped nearly half; this kind of rebound looks more like a temporary pause by the bears.
My bias is to follow the structure: the rebound only counts if it is pressured at the moving average band. For BTC, watch 82,400 to 82,600; for ETH, watch 2,438 to 2,486.
The trigger condition is a 4-hour close failing to break above the moving average band, then a pullback near the band with an upper shadow.
Stop loss is placed above 82,600. If the 4-hour close breaks above and holds without breaking down, this bias is invalidated; for ETH, the corresponding level is 2,486.
The target is first this week's low: BTC 79,800, ETH 2,318. If broken, there is no ready reference; no preset target.
The risk is that both coins raise their lows simultaneously while volume shrinks, indicating bearish momentum is weakening. If volume expands and price breaks above the moving average band, the judgment must change.
A low-volume rebound does not change the structure; only breaking above the moving average band can be considered a reversal. At 1:30 AM, I stared at the ETH/BTC ratio of 0.0296 and cut my last ETH long position in half. ETH is currently priced at 2414, down 0.6% in 24 hours, BTC at 81424, up 0.1%—the daily difference isn't large, but the ratio has been hovering below 0.03 for two weeks, which makes me uneasy.
My pricing framework for ETH has changed. Previously, I looked at the ecosystem, gas fees, and narratives; now I pay more attention to the SEC's document calendar. Whether staking can enter ETFs, whether staking yields count as securities, and when the next staff statement will be released—these explain the repeated testing around 2400 better than on-chain data. The market right now isn't valuing ETH; it's discounting regulatory uncertainty.
This is also why I don't hold a heavy position. AVAX is down 2.4% today, small and mid-cap tokens are generally weakening, and capital is moving toward certainty—BTC at least doesn't have the question of "is it a security?" My current allocation is 60% BTC, 25% ETH, and the rest in cash waiting for the SEC to clarify direction. I'm not guessing the outcome, just waiting for the odds.
What do you think about the 2414 level? Has the positive news already been priced in, or is it still discounting regulatory risk?

Institutions unanimously expect revenue to increase about 12% year-over-year, with Guangfa clearly pointing out that "the guidance is relatively weak, 1 percentage point below consensus expectations." The issue is: Netflix's growth has declined from over 16% in 2024, to 19% in Q1 2025, down to about 13% in Q2. The market has already gotten used to the "slowdown" narrative—even if this time it meets the target, it only fits the "growth deceleration" script and does not constitute a surprise.Market Temperature: $ETH dipped near $2400, BTC quickly rebounded to around $82000 after falling below $80000. Compared to BTC, ETH's funding situation is more concerning.
Capital Flow: On October 14, ETH spot ETFs saw a net outflow of about $129.5 million, followed by another outflow of about $60.3 million on October 15; over the past three weeks, exchange ETH reserves increased by about 290,000 coins, equivalent to approximately $696 million at $2400, indicating a rise in potential tradable supply.
Leverage Watch: Around October 15, 24-hour ETH contract liquidations totaled about $283 million; from October 4 to 14, USD-denominated open interest contracts decreased by about 11%, but the ETH quantity did not show a corresponding significant drop, suggesting leverage risk may not have been fully released.
Key Signals: First, whether $2400 can hold steady; second, whether ETF net outflows can end; third, whether exchange reserves continue to increase. If the rebound is accompanied by ETF outflows and rising reserves, sustainability is questionable; if outflows slow and spot buying improves, the foundation for an upward move is more reliable.
Positioning Conclusion: $ETH has no shortage of long-term narratives, but short-term lacks supporting capital. Price drops do not equal cheapness; the key is whether funds continue to buy after the decline. BTC just finished defending the $80,000 level, and $2400 may become the next key battleground for ETH bulls and bears.
#特斯拉发布新一代Roadster,行情走高 #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins $ZEC $ZEC fulfilled my expectations; no rush to bottom-fish yet. Data shows that during a certain drop, the liquidation amount of ZEC long positions within 24 hours reached as high as $17.9 million to $20 million, accounting for 88.7% of the total forced liquidations. Long positions exceeding $10 million were liquidated during the sell-off, further intensifying the downward momentum. Research firm CoinShares clearly pointed out that this round of decline "is not about Zcash's fundamentals," but essentially a concentrated liquidation of leveraged positions.
After the price broke below key moving averages, technical selling further emerged. For example, ZEC once broke below the 200-period EMA on the 4-hour chart (around $1282), which then turned into resistance. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) also dropped to a weak area at 41.75, reinforcing the short-term bearish structure.
From a 4-hour perspective, there are short-term opportunities to enter long positions with light exposure; around 1600 can be partially exited in batches, and consider adding more longs after breaking through 1690, targeting new levels at 1700 or even higher.
The decline of ZEC is a "technical crash" triggered by ultra-high leverage, not a fundamental collapse. On October 13, it closed down 4.21%, retreating from 171.09 on October 5 to around 157.
This drop is not due to fundamentals: the FAA just accepted its environmental assessment application this Tuesday to increase the Starship base's annual launch cap from 25 to 456 times, and annual landings to 912 times; Falcon 9 just completed its 35th commercial resupply mission to the International Space Station on Tuesday; Morgan Stanley reiterated a target price of 300, saying it is "cheap and getting cheaper."
What is weighing on the stock price is the capital side: the company is negotiating about $40 billion in financing to buy Nvidia chips (about $10 billion in bank loans + $30 billion in investment-grade debt), and starting October 9, the first batch of about 328 million shares will be unlocked, with an even larger batch after the Q3 report.

#OKXProphet This weekend evening's market, really don't trust any deep V reversals, most likely it's just manipulative charting by pump-and-dump operators, liquidity is so poor, the biggest fear is a midnight raid with sudden spikes up and down.
$BTC current price 81621, superficially down 1.2%, still quite resilient? But if you look closely at the open interest, it dropped from 2.58 billion in the afternoon to 2.49 billion, and the long-short ratio also fell back to 1.84. What does this mean? Big money doesn't work on weekends, they cashed out and ran early, now it's just retail bulls stubbornly holding at 81500. Once it breaks down, the next target is directly 80700.
$ETH current price 2438, weaker than BTC, long-short ratio 2.27, retail investors still stubborn, 4-hour rebound highs are getting lower and lower, 2500 has now become a strong resistance, if it can't break up, it can only drift down.
The most dangerous is actually $SOL, current price 104.79, the 100 round number hasn't broken yet, but the long-short ratio has been forced up to 2.32, which means everyone is frantically bottom-fishing above 100, chips are all crowded together, once the market pulls down, these people will be fuel for a chain reaction of liquidations.
My strategy is simple: stay in cash, until the bulls are fully washed out, any rebound is a bull trap. Watch closely BTC at 81500 and SOL at 100, if they break down, expect a washout, or wait until the long-short ratio drops back below 1.5 before considering action.

#台积电Q3净利润超预期,盈利创历史新高 $TIA surged 16% in one day, hitting a new high for 2026, with a 24-hour trading volume reaching $280 million.
This rally doesn't seem to be driven by a few small orders pushing the candlestick red. Celestia's high-throughput technical roadmap and the anticipated upgrade of the Blob economic model are supporting the momentum. It has gained about 59% over the past four weeks, and the inflation rate has dropped to around 2.5%, easing supply-side pressure somewhat.
But one thing doesn't add up: the real on-chain demand for Blob hasn't followed suit.
I tend to see this as capital betting ahead on the future. Going forward, two things will be key—whether it can hold the high ground after volume expands, and whether usage will catch up. If it's just a price surge without demand growth, this rally is merely a narrative relay.
$TIA$ETH #德银拟托管BTC与ETH,数字资产业务提速 ERH is not a short-term trading target; it is a high-dividend defensive closed-end fund. In the short term, it is very likely to oscillate in a low range, with direction mainly depending on U.S. Treasury yields. If U.S. Treasury yields continue to rise, there is a risk of breaking below the 10.16 low; only a significant decline in interest rates will lead to a decent rebound. 📉 ETH has dropped to around $2400, is the selling pressure really over?
After BTC fell below $80,000, it quickly rebounded to about $82,000, but compared to BTC, I am more focused on the upcoming capital changes in ETH.
Several recent data points are worth noting:
▪️ ETH once fell below $2400
▪️ On October 14, spot ETF net outflow was about $129.5 million
▪️ On October 15, net outflow again about $60.3 million
▪️ In the past three weeks, exchange ETH reserves increased by about 290,000 coins, valued at approximately $696 million based on $2400
This means potential tradable supply may have increased. However, entering exchanges does not necessarily mean selling will occur; we still need to observe subsequent capital flows.
⚠️ The next key signals to watch are:
🟢 Whether ETH can stabilize above $2400 again
🟡 Whether ETF outflows begin to narrow
🔴 Whether exchange reserves continue to rise
If the price rebounds but ETF outflows persist and exchange reserves keep increasing, then the sustainability of the rebound remains questionable.
My view is: The core issue ETH currently faces is not just weak market sentiment, but whether short-term buying can absorb the ongoing selling pressure.
A decline does not mean the bottom is reached; what truly matters is whether there is capital willing to keep buying after the drop.

#TeslaRoadsterUnveiled Two years? Bitcoin can't even finish a single patch (。•́︿•̀。)
Sun Yuchen's words hit hard, but they're right.
He said Bitcoin won't complete a quantum-resistant upgrade within two years — this isn't pessimism, it's revisiting old issues. SegWit was debated for two years, ending with the BCH fork; Taproot was relatively smooth but still took three years. Bitcoin's consensus mechanism moves as slowly as a glacier (´-ω-`)
No one knows when quantum computing will break ECDSA. But the fact that "Bitcoin upgrades are so slow" doesn't require waiting for quantum computers — it's played out three times in the past decade. Community arguments, miner disputes, nodes not upgrading, resulting in delays or forks. Quantum-resistant signature schemes (like hash-based ones) do exist, but getting the entire network to switch signature algorithms? That's harder than climbing to the sky (;一_一)
So is this alarmism? No. It's a latent timing risk: the quantum threat may come late, but Bitcoin's response speed is even slower. The real risk isn't "quantum arrives," but "quantum arrives while Bitcoin is still in meetings" ( ̄▽ ̄)"
Of course, there's no need to dump BTC right now. Quantum hardware is still far from breaking secp256k1. But the layer of glass Sun Yuchen broke through is worth remembering: the cost of decentralization is that even escaping danger requires consensus first (。•ᴗ-)✌$BTC 🚨 Bitcoin Shorts Crowded: Is the Extreme Negative Funding Rate a Risk or the Next Fuel?
BTC funding rates suddenly turned sharply negative, hitting the most extreme negative value since June this year, indicating that short demand in perpetual contracts clearly outweighs longs.
What’s more noteworthy is the divergence: the price has rebounded significantly from the low, but the funding rate has turned extremely negative—price is going up, yet traders are flocking to short.
When shorts are overly crowded, as long as BTC continues to strengthen, it may trigger short stop-losses, forced covering, price rises, and more shorts getting liquidated, creating a short squeeze. However, a negative funding rate does not necessarily mean a short squeeze; it could also come from arbitrage, hedging, or other derivative positions.
The key points to watch next are: whether BTC continues to strengthen, whether open interest decreases, and whether the negative funding rate gradually recovers. If all three happen simultaneously, the probability of shorts being forced out increases.
Healthy rallies don’t always require everyone to be bullish; sometimes shorts are the fuel driving the next leg. The question is: will these crazily entering shorts ultimately make money or become the fuel for the rally?

Let's look at the rankings: Bitcoin is currently ranked 12th globally, with Saudi Aramco at 13th. Back in 2020, Saudi Aramco was the world's most valuable company.
To break into the top ten, Bitcoin still needs a significant rally. But the real ceiling is above: silver is 6th, with a market cap twice that of Bitcoin; gold is 1st, with a market cap 18 times larger.
So Bitcoin's current position is quite delicate: it’s bigger than almost all companies, but still an order of magnitude behind the "precious metals."
What happened this week?
Tech stocks pulled back 6–10%, silver dropped 6.5%, while Bitcoin only fell 1.4%. Among the top 10, six assets declined more than Bitcoin.
The fact that it "fell less" already tells a story: the market is starting to treat it as something different. That's why some traders are shorting the entire tech sector but going long on Bitcoin.
The question is: will Bitcoin's next surpass be silver? In other words, if it doubles again, how long do you think that will take? Writing
🚨 **Before the US midterm elections, will BTC hit a weekly bottom?📉📈**
Brothers, a noteworthy pattern has appeared in historical trends!
Based on historical data from 2014, 2018, and 2022, market bottoms have appeared about **40–70 days** after the US midterm elections. However, historical patterns do not guarantee a repeat this time!
📊 **Focus on two possible scenarios next:**
🟢 **Scenario 1: Hold $80,000 and continue to rebound**
If BTC can hold the key level of **$80,000**, the market may continue to rebound and attempt to challenge **$95,000**.
🔴 **Scenario 2: Rise first, then pull back**
BTC may also first rebound to **$94,000–$95,000**, then face pullback pressure after the election.
🎯 **Key observations before trading:**
✅ Whether BTC can hold $80,000
✅ Whether buying pressure continues to strengthen during the rebound
✅ Whether the market can effectively break through near $94,000–$95,000
⚠️ **Remember: Historical trends are only for reference and cannot guarantee future prices.** Both scenarios are possibilities; the real direction still needs confirmation from market trends.
Brothers, do you think BTC will hold $80,000 first and then push toward $95,000, or Why can $HYPE "take away" CRCL's interest income?
$CRCL, as the issuer of USDC: users deposit dollars to exchange for USDC, and it uses that to buy government bonds to earn interest. So the interest on USDC belongs to it.
Then why can HYPE "take away" CRCL's reserve income?
The answer: CRCL voluntarily.
In August 2026, HYPE launched a framework called AQAv2:
1. Designate USDC as the "aligned quote asset"
2. CB acts as the treasury deployer, managing 90% of the reserves; CRCL acts as the technical deployer, managing minting and redemption.
3. Each stakes 500,000 HYPE tokens, with a 2% daily penalty for late payments.
They must hand over about 90% of the adjusted cost yield of the on-chain USDC to HYPE.
Why agree?
USDC wants to become the main collateral and quote asset here—that means tens of billions in stock.
If not agreed, this money would switch to USDT.
Effect:
First payment on October 3: $14.58 million, covering 30 days.
So HYPE is the only major L1 earning income through its USDC reserves, currently making over $500,000 daily based on existing stock.#奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 Here's a set of contradictory numbers: In the first half of this year, Netflix's total user watch time was 97 billion hours, up only 2% year-over-year; but revenue increased by 13%.
The watch time barely increased, yet revenue grew by 11%. This indicates that Netflix's way of making money has changed: it no longer grows by "more people subscribing," but by "charging more from each existing subscriber."
Q2 revenue was $12.56 billion, up 13% year-over-year, which is still respectable. What really caused the stock to drop over 8% in after-hours trading was the Q3 guidance: revenue growth slowed to just 11.7%, the lowest since the end of 2023, and the full-year guidance upper limit was lowered from $51.7 billion to $51.4 billion.
So why has advertising become a new highlight? Management expects advertising revenue to reach $3 billion this year, nearly doubling year-over-year, but it only accounts for about 6% of total revenue. Its real significance is not in scale: subscription fees have already been raised once, advertising is a second revenue stream from the same user, and it is almost entirely incremental profit. The monthly active users on the advertising tier have already exceeded 250 million.
But don't be too optimistic. In July, YouTube accounted for 14.2% of TV watch time in the U.S., while Netflix only had 7.8%. The competitor stealing its attention is no longer Disney.#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息?
The market was cautiously watching before the CPI data; after the data was released, the overall pattern remained a recovery following a sharp drop.
After the data release, U.S. Treasury yields fell more than 10 basis points in a single day, marking the largest drop in a year. Combined with concentrated short-sellers taking profits and covering positions, the market showed a V-shaped recovery.
Macroeconomic negatives have been partially priced in, but rate hike expectations are suppressing risk appetite. The focus now is on next week's Federal Reserve meeting minutes and officials' speeches for further guidance on the rate hike path. If U.S. Treasury yields surge again, the probability of BTC testing a second bottom is high.
$BTC $ETH $ZEC $BTC Funding: Institutional and spot funds face outflow pressure. On October 16 Eastern Time, Bitcoin spot ETFs saw a total net outflow of $82,389,300 in one day, with BlackRock's IBIT leading with a net outflow of $71,780,300, followed by Fidelity's FBTC with a net outflow of $10,609,000. However, on-chain whale holdings are rotating, with the number of wallets holding between 10 and 10,000 BTC reaching 20,338, a record high.$BTC Macro and News: The macro outlook is currently in a phase of intertwined competition. On one hand, earlier CPI data and consumer resilience have pushed expectations toward hawkishness, with global digital asset investment products recording a net outflow of $434 million this week; on the other hand, the market has lowered the probability of a Fed rate hike in October from 28% to about 15%, and the decline in U.S. Treasury yields has provided some room for risk asset recovery. The U.S. Treasury Department released the fiscal year 2026 report, stating that the interest expense on U.S. debt alone reached $1.36 trillion for the entire year, a 12% increase compared to the previous fiscal year.
If interest rates continue to rise, the interest rates on U.S. debt will also increase, putting greater interest pressure on the U.S. government.
Although the Federal Reserve is independent, it cannot completely ignore the risks associated with U.S. debt.
It should be understood that the risk of U.S. debt is not only a risk faced by the U.S. government but relates to systemic risks nationwide and even globally.
Actually, @Wangduanniao (Brother Bird) previously said something very reasonable in a space about the Federal Reserve and the U.S. federal government. He said, "Don’t look at them like that; they don’t have such deep conflicts between them."
During the pandemic, the Biden administration directly gave money to citizens. The Federal Reserve cooperated by lowering interest rates, which helps reduce U.S. debt interest expenses, and QE directly took on U.S. debt.
Therefore, in an environment where U.S. debt interest expenses are so high, it is difficult for the Federal Reserve to continuously raise interest rates. After all, it just raised rates in September, so it will not raise rates in October, and possibly not even in December.
That is why the New York Fed President Williams previously said, "There may be one rate hike this year, and no need to raise rates next year."
If rate hikes stop next year, it should not be bad news for U.S. stocks and crypto. Rate cuts, unless there is a major crash in U.S. stocks, would come at the earliest in the second half of next year. AI semiconductors continue to plunge, the market has completely rotated
On Friday, the US stock market showed clear structural divergence: the Dow fell 0.34% to 52002.41, the Nasdaq dropped 2.14% to 26140.03, and the S&P 500 declined 1.09% to 7659.44. The S&P and Nasdaq fell below their 50-day moving averages again.
This week saw a complete reversal of strength: the Nasdaq fell cumulatively by 4.48%, while the Dow actually rose 0.67%.
This round of decline is not a broad market sell-off but a collective revaluation of semiconductors and AI hardware. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell another 3.83% on Friday, marking eight consecutive days of decline—the longest streak since 2008—and dropped more than 11% for the week.
Storage and optical communication sectors collapsed across the board: SK Hynix, SanDisk, and Western Digital fell over 6%, Seagate and Coherent dropped more than 7%, Micron declined 5.63%, and AMD fell nearly 6%. CoreWeave plummeted over 11% on Friday, accumulating a 25% drop for the week.
The core logic behind the market: funds are not exiting but significantly rotating.
High-growth tech is flowing out, while energy and defensive sectors are clearly taking over: ExxonMobil rose 2.5%, Chevron 2.6%, Occidental Petroleum 2.8%, with pharmaceuticals and retail also holding up.
The strengthening oil price is a key catalyst: NYMEX crude oil remains above $99, Brent nears $110, and inflation expectations are rising again.
Summary: The high-interest-rate era has completely shifted styles, with cash-flow-stable value assets taking over. AI and tech assets relying on forward expectations continue to be cleared out $SNDK $SKHY "Bulls Paying to Stay Alive, Queueing Below 80700📉"
80700, tonight I’m only watching this number. The BTC liquidation chart shows yellow at both ends: the 82700 area is the brightest, 80700 area is close to the current price, and the lower end is even closer.
BTC is stuck at 81477, looking calm on the surface but there are mines underfoot💥. Bulls pay 0.0100% every 8 hours to stay alive; money paid but life not extended: 37.48 million liquidated in 24 hours, 80% of which are long positions.
More painfully, looking at the sub-accounts: retail traders at a 1.81 long bias, large traders at 0.64 extremely bearish; retail paying, big players waiting below.
SOL is hovering at 104, price turning negative, shorts adding positions but still have to pay first. Open interest increased by 0.04%, bulls neither fled nor profited, 7.53 million liquidated in 24 hours, nearly 80% longs, like boiling a frog slowly.
ETH back to 2417, open interest cut by 1.13%, fastest among the three coins. Retail at 2.14 still shouting long, 33.4 million liquidated in 24 hours, 74% longs, the louder they shout, the deeper they bury themselves.
I’ll be straightforward:
1. I’m holding my short: the short at 81431 is back to breakeven, logic intact, not exiting.
2. If 80700 breaks, watch 80000; if it doesn’t recover, take a small loss at 79800 and exit; if it breaks above 82700, I admit I’m wrong and leave.
3. Greed at 54, sentiment not collapsed, Saturday volume is low, keep position light, don’t get shaken out.
Whoever breaks first between 80700 and 82700, I’m betting on the downside; if wrong, I admit it; if right, I take the profit🔥.#Meta巨额AI投入进入回报检验期
Meta AI Payback Test Period
Investment: Capital expenditure of $125–145 billion in 2026, expected about $193.9 billion in 2027.
Verified: Advertising is the core source of returns, Q2 ad revenue $59.36 billion, accounting for 97.6% of revenue; AI advertising system annualized revenue exceeds $75 billion.
To be verified: Meta Muse daily active users about 1.3 million, 14-day retention 22%, subscriptions just starting, large-scale commercialization expected after 2027.
Pressure: Q2 free cash flow only $784 million, Q3 expected to turn negative; operating margin dropped to 31%.
Divergence: Optimists see ad efficiency improvement, cautious parties worry about ROIC and valuation pressure.
Conclusion: Advertising is the trump card but hard to solely support a trillion-dollar narrative; whether AI-native applications can scale is key to valuation leap, with the payback period measured in years. #Netflix growth may slow, advertising business becomes new focus #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 After the U.S. stock market closes on October 20, Netflix will release its Q3 earnings report. Looking at the market prediction bets in the picture, 71% of the funds are betting that its performance will exceed expectations, so everyone's expectations have already been set very high.
Let's first look at the fundamentals. The company itself expects revenue of $12.86 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12%, and an operating profit margin estimated at 33.2%, which is significantly higher than 28.2% in the same period last year. The improvement in profit margin indicates that internal cost reduction and efficiency improvements are going well, and the profitability is strengthening. Just finished reviewing the latest capital flows. Tonight, the fund performance of these three coins BFC, ETH, and SOL shows quite a big difference.
BTC spot is buying, ETH contracts are selling, tonight's money is not moving in one direction.
🟠 BTC|Support throughout the day, short-term didn't keep up
Last 24 hours:
Spot net inflow $43.4 million
Contract net outflow $37.28 million
In the last 4 hours, spot net inflow is almost zero, contract net outflow was $29.22 million. It's good that someone is taking the position, but in recent hours, the buying side hasn't gained strength yet.
🔵 ETH|Short-term selling pressure more concentrated
Last 24 hours:
Spot net outflow $13.44 million
Contract net outflow $273 million
In the last 4 hours, spot net outflow $44.64 million, contract net outflow $204 million.
A larger outflow in a short period than the whole day is not contradictory; it indicates that buying in other periods offset it. The current problem is that recently both spot and contracts are leaning towards selling.
🟣 SOL|Inflow all day, short-term weakening
Last 24 hours:
Spot net inflow $11.72 million
Contract net outflow $55.4 million
But in the last 4 hours, spot turned to net outflow of $5.69 million, short-term support is also cooling down.
BTC spot support is relatively better, ETH short-term pressure is more prominent, SOL still lacks sustained buying.
I won't take large positions over the weekend, waiting for continuous spot buying to return. The rebound can be quick, but whether the funds are willing to follow is the most important.
