3. The contract faces liquidation
Up over 150% in seven weeks! Is it time to short $PUMP now?
I've always had a conflicted feeling about the CRV coin.
Saying that no one uses Curve anymore isn't quite right.
It still manages over a billion dollars in funds and generated about $2.06 million in fees in the last 30 days. Among a bunch of old coins left with only communities and roadmaps, this counts as a solid business.
But to say CRV is severely undervalued, I don't dare to conclude that quickly.
CRV is currently around $0.26, up about 27% in a week. Many people see that it used to be over ten dollars and think it's ridiculously cheap now.
But a low coin price doesn't equal a low valuation.
CRV currently has a circulating supply of about 1.547 billion, a total supply of about 2.409 billion, and a theoretical max supply of 3.03 billion. Comparing today's CRV price directly with historical prices under early supply conditions isn't very meaningful.
I think the real problem with CRV has never been whether Curve has business.
It's whether the money Curve earns can sustainably translate into CRV's value.
Simply holding CRV doesn't automatically grant protocol revenue. You need to lock CRV into veCRV to gain governance rights and corresponding fees; the maximum lock period can be up to four years.
The advantage of this design is that those willing to lock long-term are more tightly aligned with the protocol's interests.
The downside is obvious: the mechanism is too complex, making it hard for ordinary people to have a "buy and hold" experience. Plus, CRV emissions have always existed; while the protocol generates income, it also needs to incentivize liquidity with tokens, which easily leads to a situation where the business is good but the coin price disappoints.
So now when I look at CRV, I'm not too concerned about when it will return to $1.
I'm more focused on three things:
Whether Curve's real income can continue to grow;
Whether crvUSD can become a stable source of business;
Whether the growth rate of protocol income can gradually surpass token incentives and supply pressure.
Also, security risks can't be ignored. In March 2026, the sDOLA/crvUSD LlamaLend market still experienced an oracle manipulation event, causing about 822,500 crvUSD borrower equity losses.
My view is simple:
Curve is not a dead protocol, and CRV is not a bargain you can understand at a glance.
It has products, users, and income.
But it also has emissions, lock-up thresholds, complex governance, and security risks.
If in the future Curve can rely less on "issuing tokens for liquidity" and more on trading fees, lending, and crvUSD to sustain itself, CRV might truly see a value reappraisal.
Until then, I'm willing to pay attention.
But I won't automatically think that the current 26 cents is a golden opportunity just because it was over ten dollars before.
The biggest fear for old projects isn't that no one remembers them.
It's that everyone remembers how glorious they once were but no one seriously calculates how much they actually earn today.

Once $ETH $BTC positions are closed, it's really a struggle to re-enter a second time!
Before closing, seeing the floating profits fluctuate doesn't affect me emotionally, but the moment I close and the profit is in hand, I automatically treat that profit as my own principal.
I don't mind if the profit decreases, but losing principal feels really painful. Even though the amounts are the same, the feelings are completely different.
Mainly, the closing position last night wasn't very good; I closed at 1876, and now the price fluctuations are very small. If it drops below 1876, I don't want to buy back because that would raise my cost basis, so it would have been better not to exit last night.
If it goes above 1876, the highest now is 1881, just 5 points higher, which is too little. I was hoping to catch at least a 10-point move, and there's also the possibility of a pump, but I'm afraid of losing money.
It's so painful; human nature is really greedy and fragile. A rebound to just above 1881 shouldn't be a good thing? It means the upward momentum is weak, which is good for shorting.
The thoughts I had before closing are impossible to follow through immediately after closing 😖 $ETH

Zero downtime throughout, OKX "moved" its core trading system to another country!
OKX founder and CEO Star announced on X that the platform completed a cross-border core trading system migration last week.
During the entire process, there was no perceptible downtime on the user side; the main impact was a brief increase in trading latency, lasting about 30 to 40 minutes.
This fully demonstrates the strong capabilities of the OKX team. The challenge lies in the crypto market running 24/7 without the maintenance windows available after traditional financial market closures.
The exchange migration involved not only servers and related code but also order status, account balances, market data, risk control, and API connections.
Any data desynchronization at any stage could cause duplicate orders, abnormal asset displays, or even trigger erroneous liquidations!
From the results, the brief latency indicates the migration was not completely "invisible," but the system remained available throughout, with no interruption to data or trading, which is still a highly challenging engineering feat for a large trading platform.
The team believes this might be the industry's first migration of this scale under similar business conditions.
The migration did not disclose the specific countries involved nor the regulatory or business reasons behind it, so excessive speculation is unwarranted.
However, this reflects OKX's efforts to strengthen cross-regional deployment, disaster recovery switching, and infrastructure resilience.
For exchanges, handling traffic during market surges is just the first hurdle; the real long-term operational strength lies in the system's ability to upgrade and migrate without downtime!

Previously, we have consistently regarded $65,000 as a key breakout level, but now it appears that $BTC has failed to sustain upward momentum after multiple attempts to stay above $65,000, indicating strong selling pressure at this level.
Currently, focus on three key levels:
* $65,000: First resistance level; only a stable hold above this marks a return to strength.
* $66,500-$68,000: Core resistance zone; breaking through here opens the possibility for a larger rally.
* $63,000-$63,500: Short-term critical support; if held, it still indicates consolidation and accumulation; if broken, support may be sought around $61,000-$62,000.
Additionally, recent oil price increases have reignited inflation concerns, and the market is awaiting U.S. inflation data. This macro backdrop is a key reason why BTC repeatedly tests $65,000 but cannot break through effectively.
My assessment: In the short term, the market has shifted from a breakout phase back to range-bound consolidation.
It is not advisable to blindly chase highs just because of repeated attempts to break $65,000. It is more prudent to observe whether there is clear buying support near $63,000.
If volume picks up again and $65,000 is firmly held, then watch $66,500-$68,000; only after breaking this range can BTC aim to challenge $70,000.

$MMT big rebound! You can short in now!

$OKB is really strong. Last night, $BTC dropped 2 points before the CPI data release, but OKB was basically unaffected and even rose, showing an independent trend.
1. A few days ago, after the non-farm payroll data boosted rate cut expectations, OKB surged 10%. The normal profit-taking correction from the day before yesterday has ended, and judging by the current momentum, it clearly wants to push higher again.
2. From the current perspective, as long as the price doesn't fall below 88, the overall trend remains upward. Moreover, this is an independent trend relying only on the broader market, X Layer, and the OKX ecosystem. Although it will be affected by the CPI data, it has the potential to maintain an independent trend.
3. Friends who haven't bought OKB can consider building some base positions; there will be opportunities to perform. But don't hold too heavy a position. Those who want to accumulate can choose the low points when everyone is panicking. I previously accumulated some OKB by participating in the flash earning event, so now I feel completely at ease.

$SPCX is not a MeMe coin but has MEME-like movements
A bunch of mindless fence-sitters: when bullish, it surges; when bearish, it crashes
Any opinion different from theirs gets slammed and accused of liquidation
If SPCX rises and you don’t follow, it’s all for nothing; if it falls, same thing
The most hopeless people aren’t those with little capital, but those too scared to open a position
Jealous of others’ profits, opportunities always come with regret for not getting in
SPCX’s trading volume is slowly increasing; the downtrend hasn’t started yet
The current rise is just a short squeeze, and the mindless ones run at the first loss
You’ve already lost so much, what else is there to lose?
If you don’t have enough guts, why are you even playing US stocks? #SPCX

Most people say that staking 42 million ETH is a supply positive, but I don't see it that way.
The staked amount has surpassed 42 million, accounting for nearly 35% of the total supply. Many accounts say: ETH is becoming increasingly scarce, supply is locked, and price pressure is reduced.
I understand this logic; on the surface, it does hold true. But if you look closely at what has happened with Ethereum this year, you'll find that behind the surge in staking rate is a more complex, even somewhat ironic story.
On August 4th, Justin Drake, along with five other Ethereum Foundation researchers, submitted EIP-8361. The core mechanism is "Tapered Issuance Burn": as the staking ratio rises, the proportion of validator rewards that are burned also increases, until the staked amount reaches 50% of the total supply (about 60.25 million ETH), at which point new consensus layer issuance drops to zero.
This proposal made me think for a long time.
On the surface, EIP-8361 addresses the problem of "over-staking leading to centralization"—indeed, when 35% of ETH is locked in staking contracts, and Lido alone accounts for over 30% of validator share, the centralization risk is real.
But here’s the question: who is most disadvantaged by this proposal?
The ones most disadvantaged are those currently staking. If you stake ETH today, you earn about 3.5%-4% annualized yield. Once EIP-8361 passes and staking rates continue to climb, your rewards will be automatically diluted by the system until they reach zero at the 50% threshold. In other words, the more people stake, the faster they push the critical point where their own rewards diminish.
It’s a bit like the story of everyone desperately pouring water into a pool, unaware that the pool has an ever-growing leak.
Now, regarding the DeFi side. Ethereum staking’s base yield has long been regarded as the "risk-free rate anchor" in the DeFi world—interest rate pricing for lending protocols like Aave and Compound is, to some extent, referenced to this anchor. If EIP-8361 pushes this base yield down or even to zero, liquid staking projects that rely on Ethereum staking yields as their product narrative (Lido, Rocket Pool) and LRT protocols (EigenLayer’s EIGEN staking logic) will face valuation shocks.
Community controversy over EIP-8361 is still significant. On the Ethereum Magicians forum, some voices directly say: the proposal was submitted just before the Hegotá upgrade deadline, leaving seriously insufficient time for community discussion. This is not an ordinary parameter adjustment; it is a fundamental change to Ethereum’s monetary policy, yet it was pushed through like an emergency bill. This procedural issue alone deserves separate caution.
My current judgment is: the probability of EIP-8361 being implemented in 2026 is low, but its very existence already casts a question mark over ETH’s "monetary expectations"—what exactly will Ethereum’s future issuance policy be? Who decides? This uncertainty creates friction for institutions allocating ETH.
This is my understanding at this stage, but I leave myself a 30% chance to reverse because if EIP-8361 passes in a modified form with a sufficiently long transition period (the proposal mentions 18 months), the impact might be milder than I expect. For those following ETH staking mechanisms, do you think the impact on the DeFi side will be more severe than the consensus layer issuance itself, or not so much?
