#CPIPPIHikeWatch CPI drops Oct 14, PPI/retail sales Oct 15. Same test as before: hot data pushes October hike odds up, soft data supports a pause.
This is the next real catalyst for the BTC/Gold split i’ve been tracking. Correlation eased from 0.73 to 0.45 after the last hawkish surprise these two prints decide whether that gap widens or closes.
Watching core CPI first. That’s the number that moves yields.
