Why I give up all altcoins and only hold $OKB After spending a long time in the crypto space, you will understand one truth: the vast majority of altcoins are illusions. Newbies always fantasize about hundredfold or thousandfold gains, but the reality is, veteran holders have lost even their underwear. The reason I am optimistic about $OKB is very simple: First, it has the explosive growth potential of altcoins. When market sentiment surges, $OKB’s gains never lag behind mainstream altcoins, yet its liquidity and depth are much more reliable than most air coins. Second, it has a certainty close to Bitcoin, breaking previous highs in every bull market cycle. It is backed by the OKX ecosystem, with a total supply permanently capped at 21 million tokens, and it continuously deflates as X Layer Gas. This is not a meme; it is a platform token with real value. The only true faith can only be Bitcoin. I also hold $OKB firmly—not out of faith, but because its potential is not yet fully realized. Its current market cap is only $1.8 billion, while $BNB is nearly $80 billion, a 40x difference. (The future is huge) A piece of advice for new investors: the crypto market has no ceiling when it rises and no bottom when it falls. When you come in to play, never have faith; make a profit and run. Protecting your principal first is your chip for a comeback. Except for $BTC and $OKB, don’t get emotionally attached to any coin. Make a profit and leave, don’t be greedy, don’t overthink, don’t listen to stories. This market devours people without mercy; while you watch others’ gains, they watch your principal. For long-term holdings, I only keep $BTC and $OKB. The rest, I trade quickly and never get attached to battles. This is not conservatism; it’s a lesson learned through blood and tears.
