#ZECGoesInstitutional ZEC’s move into the top 10 is starting to look less like a price story and more like a market-structure shift 👀 Grayscale’s Zcash ETF has reportedly crossed $500M in assets, with holdings rising from around 388,000 ZEC at launch to more than 550,000. Options are now open too, adding another layer of institutional access and hedging activity. What stands out to me is how quickly the ecosystem around ZEC is becoming more financialized. ETF inflows, derivatives and Cypherpunk Technologies’ mining cluster—about 18% of network hashrate—are all reinforcing the same institutional narrative 🏦 But those tools can work both ways. Derivatives improve liquidity and risk management, while also introducing leverage that can amplify volatility when positioning becomes crowded. Institutional access clearly gives ZEC more visibility. I’m curious whether it also creates a healthier, deeper market—or simply makes the next sharp move travel faster in either direction.
