Last night, the US stock market basically hit the brakes at a high level. The S&P fell 0.17%, the Nasdaq dropped about 0.3%, not panic, just everyone hesitating a bit after hitting new highs. Retail data was weak, oil prices pushed up again, so funds naturally weren't so eager to rush into tech. Applied Materials had decent earnings but still fell 5%.
