The strongest lesson here isn't the $10 → $186 result—it's the emphasis on protecting an existing profit.
A few important points:
10× leverage magnifies both gains and losses. A relatively small move in BTC/ETH can produce a large percentage change in margin.
BTC moving from $63,561.3 → $63,825.2 is about +0.42%, which is consistent with roughly +4.2% before fees/funding at 10×.
ETH moving from $1,840.95 → $1,894.80 is about +2.93%, or roughly +29.3% at 10× before fees/funding.
Moving a stop toward breakeven or into profit can reduce the chance of giving back a winning trade, but it can also cause an early exit during normal volatility.
The biggest caution is the $100 → $1M challenge. Going from $10 to $186 is impressive as a trading record, but extrapolating that growth rate to $1M requires increasingly large risks and isn't a realistic expectation to rely on.
Good trading isn't just catching the move—it’s knowing when to protect yourself once you're right.
